This tournament (North-West/East Qualifier) is one of the regional qualifiers for the 2023 ACA Africa T20 Cup. A total of 7 teams are taking part -  Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda and Sierra Leone. The other regional qualifier is the Southern Africa Cup, in which 5 teams are taking part - Mozambique, Mauritius, Malawi, Eswatini and Botswana. The previous edition (2022 ACA Africa T20 Cup) was won by Uganda, and Tanzania was the runners up. It is being organized by the African Cricket Association (ACA).

After Zimbabwean comeback I was not expecting this target because they have done good job and have all hitters early which helps them for keeping things under control, but last over was productive for them as they have 20 runs through 2 sixes and 4 four which allow Ireland to touch this good figure which can give them some hope for staying at their best.

This is turning out to be nail biting. Raza's wicket again changed the dynamic and Ireland are back in the game. He was amazing but made a couple of rookie mistakes, for starters not denying single and farming a strike. It would've been better if he had taken this to last over.

Zimbabwe VS Ireland,, Zimbabwe finally won by 1 wicket in 1st T20 where it was another thrilling win for Zimbabwe cause anything could be happened when just 1ball was left to score. Gareth Delany 26(11) played well from Ireland and Sikandar Raza took 3 wickets and Ireland scored 147/8. And then when it comes to Zimbabwe for bat, Sikandar Raza 65(42) again started showing bis magic performance and become the best all-round as well as man of the match. Finisher batsmans did well as they anyhow managed to take some runs otherwise result could be opposite. I assume, upcoming matches will be more interesting

Zimbabwe's Sikander Raja has been the best performer, with the batting single handedly playing a major role in securing victory for his side. Sikandar Raja scored 65 runs from 42 balls alone, Sikandar Raja scored the most runs in this match between Ireland and Zimbabwe. reland were under wicket pressure from the start and ended up scoring 147 runs, and Zimbabwe too struggled to complete the target of 147 runs and scored 148 runs.
