Amazing performance by Philippines won this match by 7 wickets and won the series by 4-2. Philippines chase down this easy target 124 runs in loss of just 3 wickets in 12.1 overs. Kulwinderjit Singh and Henry Tyler scored 38 rins in 17 balls both played good inning and win match for his team easly. From Indonesia onlu Ketut Edi Guna Artawan show fight against Philippines picked 3 important wicktes by giving 18 runs only. The Player of the Match is Kulwinderjit Singh from Philippines for his amazing batting performances scored 46 runs in just 16 balls, unfortunately missed his fastes fifty by 4 runs short.

It is not a fair battle. Philippines had several players from test nations such as India and Pakistan, who had earlier played either first-class or club cricket in their respective countries. On the other hand, Indonesia had homegrown players, with no such exposure. So players such as Kulwinderjit Singh were able to score easily against the inexperienced bowlers from Indonesia. But all that said, Indonesia should be proud of the fact that they managed to win two of the matches. They are on an upward trajectory, and we will hear a lot more about them in the coming years.

I don’t agree with you. I don't think the fact that the Philippines are playing players from test playing nations really matters. After all, those players did not represent India or Pakistan or other nations at any point of their life, and it clearly goes with the ICC rules. I think the credit should be given to the Philippines for finding them.

Both Philippines and Indonesia want to grow their cricketing scene. And to play and represent a country, you need to be a member of that country meaning you need to be a citizen. Definitely, the players have citizenships and it makes it legal. Both nations are using what they have to make their cricket grow. The credits should be given where it is due. Philippines batted really well in this match due to the destructive innings of Kulwinderjit Singh, that was impressive.

By the way Philippines started playing and they started with good move and they lost first wicket at 66 runs. Means first wicket went down after making half runs. Kulwinderjeet Singh played really fast he made 46 runs on 16 balls. He hit 6 sixes and 2 fours. Means he made 44 runs with hits out of 46 runs. Excellent played. The opening match of this season of the Big Bash League was against Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Stars were expected to win the match with all the star players in the team's squad, but they were defeated by 103 runs. After that, when I supported them again, they were defeated. However, seeing their victory in today's match, I was a little disappointed. Because I did not support them in this match. They finally got a win in the 14th match of the league. If the Sydney sixers could have scored a few more runs, they might have lost this match. All but 3 batsmen of Sydney Sixers failed. With this win, maybe Melbourne Stars can regain their form but there is no point if they don't perform on the field. Even having a player like Glenn Maxwell cannot ensure the team's win.

Yes you are right, Bangladesh is not seen to score 200 runs easily in T20 format. Currently watching the T20 match of the Bangladesh team does not feel like we are watching a T20 match. In fact, if a new player of the Bangladesh team makes his debut, he performs very well for the first few days, but after a few days, it is seen that he is not playing as well as before. Towhid Hridoy played very well when he first debuted in the team, but is not performing well now. There are many more such players. Litton Das, one of the best batsmen of Bangladesh, is not performing well at present. Bangladesh's batting line is not very strong in T20. Nothing good can be expected from the batsmen of Bangladesh. If New Zealand bats first, if Bangladesh bowlers can restrict New Zealand to 160 then Bangladesh batsmen can do well in the match. And if Bangladesh bat first then no more than 160-170 can be expected. You are right, Bangladesh can win if the bowlers perform well.

Bangladesh basically cannot play in such an aggressive manner in T20 cricket. T20 cricket is four-six cricket, here the team which can perform well in batting, bowling and fielding will have more chances to win. Bangladesh is quite good in bowling department but if the run score is not good in T20 then it becomes difficult to beat the team just by bowling.
Today's first T20 match has a lot of chances for Bangladesh to win as they have shown the bowling power in the last ODI match to win the team. But unfortunately there is no Soumya Sarkar in the Bangladesh squad today, most likely Liton Das may not be in the squad. However, there is hope that Bangladesh will perform well today.

I fully support your comment here because the bowling line of Bangladesh is much better than other countries but there is a lot of lack of hard hitter batting among the youngsters of Bangladesh. Bangladesh may be perfect enough for 50 over game but in T20 Bangladesh is far behind Afghanistan. Moreover, there is no sign of hard hitter batting among the young players who have been included in the Bangladesh squad. But despite doing well in bowling in Bangladesh, we Bangladeshis were repeatedly defeated only because of batting failure. On the day our Bangladesh made a good combination in batting and bowling, we were able to win.

@Sithara007 isn’t it strange that 6 months before a T20 World Cup New Zealand are yet experimenting with their T20 team because in my personal opinion they should have selected their best 11 so they could have enough match practise heading into the T20 World Cup. New Zealand batsmen have plenty of experience but the above two bowlers have less experience. But in the case of Bangladesh, even though they have more or less experience, they are not big hitter batsmen. But every batsman in New Zealand's top order is a big hitter. So even though Bangladeshis have experience in today's match, New Zealand players have more priority to play only aggressive innings. And New Zealand will have a high chance of winning this match.
