Zimbabwe's batting line could not do well as a result of which they scored 140 runs. Winning by 141 runs off 120 balls was very easy in the T20 format. Ireland were put in to bat with a target of 141 runs, and the top-order batsmen were dismissed early on and came under pressure. George Dockrell and Harry Tector both put in great performances to help the team out of the pressure and eventually give the team the win.
