Morning thoughts on yesterday's match. After Russel got out, both the Iyer's slowed down innings a bit, although they eventually settled for relatively good SR, it could have been much better and KKR could have gathered extra 20-30 runs which possibly might have been game changing.

^ I'm aware talking about extra runs from already 261 lol but there was this short period where inning were slowed down when it shouldn't have been.

Prabhsimran is the unsung hero behind PBKS's victory, he was the one who gave good start and didn't let RRR climb further, his run-out was unfortunate to see.

today a brilliant performance by New Zealand and won this game by just 4 runs they gave the target of 179 to pakistan. Robinson made fifty an excellent spell by abbas afridi takes 3 wickets in three overs. but pak team made only 175 in 20 overs. fakhar zaman played excellent innings of 61 runs but unlucky to finish match for his team. pak lost wickets early in powerplay which put pressure on them in last over 18 runs required but imad wasim failed to chased. 6 run needed on last ball makes the game more interesting excellent performance by new Zealand team their B team was playing and they lead the series by 2-1

When Pakistan lost day before yesterday’s match then the whole crowd was very disappointed and by the way, the Stadium was full and the local crowd came with this hope that the Pakistan team would win the match but they were wrong. Pakistan team performed totally opposite of what was expected of them.

However, when the whole crowd was disappointed then the cameramen focused the camera on the small children and they started to cry, I took a screen shoot but I was not able to take a photo of the crying children.  Small girls and boys, they are were starting to cry at yesterday’s match when Pakistan lost the match. This loss hits much harder to the children who are more emotionally attached to the team.

But New Zealand team already won 2 matches Pakistan won one match and first t20 match was abandoned due to rain so today match is definitely very important for Pakistan if today fifth t20 match Pakistan can't win match then New Zealand will win the series. Today, the fifth T20 match i.e. the last T20 match of the T20 series between the host Pakistan and the visiting New Zealand team is going to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. We have seen the batting frenzy of Kolkata and Hyderabad batsmen this season. In yesterday's match, we saw the stormy batting of Punjab's batsmen. I don't imagine any team can win so easily on a target of 262 runs. Even if the target of this match was 280, maybe Punjab would have been able to win the match. Punjab's batsmen have performed well in this match.

Bairstwo, Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh batted brilliantly in this match. Baistwo remained unbeaten on 108 off 48 balls. Prabhsimran singh got out with 54 runs from 20 balls. And Shashank was unbeaten with 68 off 28 balls. Apart from Narine, I have not seen any bowler bowl controlled.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first, but Mumbai Indians bowlers could not use this decision properly. Delhi Capitals opener duo Abishek Porel and Jake Fraser-McGurk batted brilliantly. Jake Fraser-McGurk batted brilliantly and was dismissed for 84 off 27 balls. Current score of Delhi Capitals is 180 runs for two wickets in 14 overs. Looking at the current state of play of Delhi Capitals, it seems that if they can bat like this, they can give Mumbai Indians a target of 230 runs. Porel was annoying to watch with JFMG blowing fire on the other end, wasted whole freaking over in powerplay, didn't try to hit boundaries, didn't take a single (wait, he did but on last ball to waste some more balls) and ruined JFMG's momentum who would have likely made century otherwise.

Who chooses Porel as an opener anyway when Shaw and Warner are sitting in dugout.

Even though Bairstow scored his strongest century for the team without Shashank the match would not complete in this way.Because the last three sixes was the greatest knock to reach the targeted score before the end of the game.At the beginning the Kolkata started the match like easy win,the batsman of Punjab had reached them the new lesson.The score of 261 in IPL can be chasing one in this t20 match.

PCB management need to focus on lessons learned from this series, players must be selected based on there performance in domestic cricket not on few success in PSL.

IPL will be very much open for DC if they win today's game which is very much likely to happen. 

I wouldn't discount MI just yet, they have good batting and yesterday's Punjab's win over similar target would also give them psychological assurance that this is doable chase.
