Some very big names are already out of the World Cup.  Sri Lanka and Pakistan actually have surprised everyone by being eliminated so early from the World Cup. I believe everyone expected that they would at least go to the next stage of the competition, which is the Super 8. Surprisingly the USA have made it to the Super 8. Nobody had actually given them any chance. but it looks like they are actually playing well in their own country. I guess that was somewhat expected because obviously, they are always playing in their own country so they know how the track is going to behave. and literally, almost no other country has played in the USA. So they have no idea what to expect. Some of the matches become so unpredictable and I think this is the reason.

So far Australia, Afghanistan, India,  USA, West Indies, and South Africa have made it to the Super 8.  only 2 teams left. Right now the fight is between  Bangladesh and the Netherlands, England and Scotland. By the way, I also did not think England was going to have so many problems to qualify for the next stage. And there is still a very good chance that they won't.

In the 27th match of Bangladesh vs Netherlands team, Bangladesh team won the match by 25 runs. Bangladesh team came to bat and scored 159 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Bangladesh team batsmen Shanto and Litton Das did not do well. Shakib Al Hasan and Tanzid Hasan both played excellent batting.  The Netherlands team came to bat and lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and scored 134 runs. The Netherlands team could not win by exceeding the target given by the Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh won the match against Netherlands with a great score.  Netherlands are a strong team but their batsmen could not form good partnerships which led them to score only 134 runs.  The Netherlands batting line up failed to perform well and the Bangladeshi bowlers kept them under pressure.  The Bangladeshi bowlers did their best to keep the Dutch batsmen from scoring runs. Especially  R Hossain and Ahmad both he took 5 wickets and also made runs for his team . The Bangladesh team could have seen a bigger target if Mahmudullah continued his innings, the partnership between Mahmudullah and Al Hasan would have made the run target very difficult.  Still Bangladesh won this match with a very good run rate.

Bangladesh managed to bat responsibly and Bangladesh finished brilliantly at the end which was why Bangladesh was always ahead against Netherlands. The way the New Zealand batsmen started and the way they were batting till the middle of the innings, it looked like Bangladesh might lose this match but some magical deliveries turned the game around. This match was very important for Bangladesh because if Bangladesh were to lose then they would have a different pressure against Nepal and they would have to win against Nepal by a huge margin otherwise they would not be able to qualify for the next round. However, all in all, Bangladesh performed well, that's why they got the win, congratulations to Bangladesh.

Nepal seriously messed up big-time against South Africa in front of their fans. The dude at the end stuttered in between thanks to which he got run out since it looked like an easy single from my viewpoint.

Anyway, India vs Canada and Namibia vs England coming up where I am expecting both favorites to win comfortably without any twists whatsoever.

I don't think so. Because USA will qualify and it will qualify for super 8 USA won two matches while Indian team won 3 match. In today matches, Indian team will easily win against  Canada because Indian team much much stronger than Canada and Indian combination is outclass. Rohit Sharma captaincy is top of  the rank and Jaspret is doing best and he  have a power to change the match.

England team is favorite in this match . Jos buttler will be in the form and England has capacity to all out Namibia team at 60 runs and it also has capacity to chase the score in just 5 overs.England team has high quality players and bowlers are looking in good form and they will show their performance.Mostly Wickets of USA are bowling wickets and that is edge for England team.

They are creating hardships to the fans as well as media rights holders. Already three matches have been abandoned, and many more were impacted. The media rights holders paid a fortune, hoping that they can recover at least part of that amount from advertisements and subscription. If entire matches get washed out, who is going to compensate them?

We didn't have the Ireland and United States match yesterday and today the India Vs Canada match is in danger of being washed out. We can say that this match is not important as we already have the two teams from this group qualified to the next round of Super 8. However, the issue is that if we have matches affected by the rain in Super 8s, then some teams may get an advantage and others may have a disadvantage, which is not fair to teams and the audience too.

We have already seen England and Pakistan are eliminated because of their matches being washed out. Pakistan could have made to the Super 8s if we had the match yesterday and England would have been in the Super 8s in their match with Scotland was not washed out. By the way, England still has chances but rain in this group matches can make things difficult for England too.

These ICC guys take everyone for granted. They hit the jackpot in 2023, when they managed to sell media rights for 2024-27 cycle for more than $3 billion. If they behave so arrogantly, then I am sure that the rights value will go down in the next cycle (2028-31). Having no reserve day for a major tournament, and that too being conducted during the North American hurricane season is something inexcusable. Also, what about the fans who travelled all the way? They may reimburse the tickets. But what about the travel and accommodation costs?

Nepal lost the match against South Africa by 1 run. They needed 2 runs from the last two balls, but Ottneil Baartman managed to bowl two dots to gift the game to South Africa. At one point, Nepal were 85/2 after 13.3 overs. At this point, they needed 31 runs to win from 39 balls, with 8 wickets in hand. But this is when Anil Sah got out. And then Aasif Sheikh and Dipendra Singh Airee wasted a lot of balls. In the end, Sompal Kami and Gulsan Jha managed to hit a few boundaries. But by then it was too late.

What a match it was just an amazing game of cricket we witnessed from Nepal against top competitors Protees. Nepal's last batter missed a lot of balls and did not even take a single.

We know New Zealand already out from world cup and they are not qualified for the super eight round. But today match they are playing very well and this is looking a one sided match too. Uganda is playing at this time and this is the first turn and they have lost 7 wickets and they have plated 15 overs almost and they made only 29 runs in 15 overs. It means they are too much weak as compare to New Zealand. And I think Uganda will not cross 50 runs. And New Zealand will chase the target before 10 overs. By the way we can't say anything because New Zealand performance is also not good in this World Cup so let's see whtat they will do.?

New Zealand won the match by 9 wickets . Uganda player could not face the New Zealand bowler and the team was bowled out for just 40 runs. New Zealand preformnce may not be good in this world Cup but New Zealand is a strong team as well as a very expt team and they have proved this in this match by dismissing the Uganda team for 40 runs . New Zealand did brilliantly in the bowling and got rid of the sixes of Uganda batsman. Uganda batsman could not control their respective wickets. T Santner took 3 wickets and T boult and T. Southee took 2 '2 wickets .  Ravindra aslo took 2 wickets by giving 9 runs in 3 overs and Ravindra is a good bowler as well as good Batsman and he immediately scored a run and ended the match .

Look it from the different perspective, small nations qualifying for the world cup super 8 might bring more audience for cricket in those countries so in the long run they also become world-class team with all the necessary infrastructure to compete against the existing few countries and going forward 2028 Olympics where cricket is going to be a part this looks like a good thing.

ENG doesn't look like a better team, so even if they qualify for super 8 where they will be eliminated for sure.

Some of the teams are facing a lot of problems due to rain, among which we have seen in Pakistan and Ireland games. This match was not played due to rain delay, which resulted in Pakistan team being disqualified from Super 8. Moreover, in today's match also we can see rain in England vs Namibia match before the toss due to which the game has not started yet.
This match is most likely to be delayed due to non-stop rain, and England will have a big stumbling block here. However, today's match did not start due to rain, due to which England's biggest loss was that they did not qualify for the qualifiers.
We've seen two teams in a row fall victim to rain and get eliminated before the qualifiers only because the rain won't stop. This match was not an important match for either New Zealand or Uganda. Because it is no longer possible for New Zealand to qualify for the next round. New Zealand lost the first two matches. Afghanistan and West Indies teams have won all three matches. These two teams will qualify for the next round from Group C.

Uganda's batsmen have performed very poorly. New Zealand's bowlers did not do well against Afghanistan and West Indies, but the team bowled well against Uganda. Tim Southee took three wickets conceding just 4 runs in 4 overs. This is the best bowling figure of this World Cup.

Today's 34th match of Namibia vs England team has not been tossed yet due to rain. If England team won the toss and went to bat in today's match and gave a target of 170 runs in 20 overs, maybe Namibia team will be under a lot of pressure. Because Namibia team does not have such strong batting, so Namibia team might  Will be under a lot of pressure. However, if the Namibia team performs well in the bowling line and keeps the England batsmen under pressure, I have no idea how many runs the England team can score.

So I think probably there is a chance of a surprise. but still, Australia shouldn't have any problems in the end beating Scotland.

South Africa vs Nepal, 31st Match is started. Nepal won the toss and opt to Bowl. So South Africa goes to batting first and they supposed to be doing well in batting. Although they lost their top batsman Quinton de Kock already who have made 10 runs only, wicket taken by Dipendra Singh. And Captain Aiden Markram and Reeza Hendricks are still in the field and they are making good partnership. And till now they made 51-1 runs (8 Overs). South Africa undoubtedly a strong team in both batting and bowling and today there is possiblity for South Africa to won the match. Let's see How Nepal try to stop them.

After that match I don't think south Africa deserve to play next round of the tournament, because thier performance is just absolutely awful thier batting hasn't consistency especially thier top order even not able to play long and some where thier middle order really collapse hard which really put them in big big trouble. Now even against Nepal they failed to scored a decent Target while compared to them Nepal played extra ordinary they not only get them before a huge target but scored a decent runs while chased before losing big numbers of wickets and I think that coming to happen due Nepal cricket craze, dedication and hardwork, I believe if they played few more year in such big tournament they will be one of the danger underestimate side. Anyway it's won for south Africa but I applaud Nepal for such phenomenal performance

Unbelievable Nepal didn't score 2 runs from the last 2 balls of the game and lost it by just one runs. South Africa gave the target of 115 runs to Nepal. An excellent batting by Reeza Hendricks played well innings of 43 runs. Nepal team failed to chase the small target and its very difficult for them to qualify for next round because their next match against Bangladesh that is not easy for them to beat Bangladesh. Nepal batsmen batting brilliantly at the start of run chase then Tabraiz Shamsi's bowling spell changed the game and took 4 key wickets for Nepal. An excellent comeback by the South African team in this game and easily qualified for the Super Eight by winning his all games in WC.

Today Namibia vs England match was supposed to be an easy win for the England team but if the game doesn't start due to rain then there is no solution except to share the points. Even though the Namibian team has taken a small advantage, it is definitely not a good news for England because England team will have to share winning point. Over reduction has already started. As long as the rain does not stop, the over will be reduced and the game will be abandoned at some point.

If Nepal won that match then they have a chance to make it to next round since they have a game left against Bangladesh. Anyways its a great game and credit goes to Nepal team for giving there best against top team of there group. There are players in every team that waste lot of deliveries like Imad Wasim wasted lots of balls in India vs Pakistan game and that costed Pakistan the match. This is first time Nepal is playing World Cup and there performance is much better then teams like Oman, PNG and Uganda. I am sure Nepal team will get great confidence and experience from this tournament which will help them in upcoming icc events.
