Price of Altcoins mainly depends on BTC and this trend will continue in 2019 also. Since the price of BTC itself is very much down, same pattern is followed by altcoins. There are only few altcoins that have the potential to go up, rest majority are useless coins.

Altcoins rise and fall more than Bitcoin because they have a smaller market capitalization. You have to invest more money into Bitcoin than into altcoin to cause the growth.

It all depends on Bitcoin. Its capitalization rules the market, and as we see its fall, although critical for other coins, it did not kill the market.

When bitcoin rises, alts rise even faster. But when it dumps, shitcoins go to 0. With the exception of chainlink the entire top 50 is in the red this past 6 months.
And we're in a long bear market, so alts will continue bleeding.

This fall did not kill the market, but it affected altcoins very much. Altcoins will be a long time to recover from such a collapse. But we can safely say that those altcoins that will survive this situation will be worthy and good. Weak coins are unlikely to stay afloat.

yeah, it's too risky to invest in Altcoin because the average value Altcoin on the market is very unpleasant to look at. When time comes,some of this alts will be independent to using Bitcoin’s blockchain anymore and will use their own platform. Its due to fiat transactions are still anew to crypto adoption that is why the top coins in CMC are still supported yet.

A couple of alts are actually doing quite well in this btc bear market. If you look at the alts tron and the bittorent token actually had a pretty strong january. Probably just hype but i'm feeling confident about btt. Everyone who had internet connection in the 90s and early 2000's are pretty aware of what bittorrent is and that could give this alt a big boost moving forward.

Bitcoin is the king so what ever happens to itt, that's happens too the altcoins. But if you are trader you willl noticed that sometimes they have coin that not follow to bitcoin like it will increase and sometimes it will decrease. how the value of Bitcoin is going on will not be a better for us but low investment also been not well in this situation so we need to be more careful in this situation because Bitcoin is always travelling in this situation so no other investment is also been struggling to get forward.
