The influence of bitcoin is still too big, it is true that coins can still move independently but if a big move happens in bitcoin regardless of the direction you can be sure that many altcoins will respond to this movement and will begin to move in the same direction, however since I do not expect movements too big for bitcoin during this year this will give us the chance to multiply our bitcoin when an altcoin goes through an important development of its technology and its price begins to go up.

I think Bitcoin will be the major driver of any recovery. We need to watch BTC price movements closely, particularly historic support levels and any psychologically important thresholds. $5k is the next big one going up.

Most altcoins as I also observe, they are relying on bitcoin if I am not mistaken, but some altcoins are increasing even if bitcoin is not recovering. We can also check coinmarketcap to check the market and all coins on how they go up and down.

You don't need to imagine how other altcoins value will be by now, you can just go to the market or go to coinmarketcap and see the value they are now. Must altcoin dropped not because of the dump in btc but because they were supposed to drop.

Most of the altcoins today have no real market value except some few like EOS, ETH, NEO and BCH which have proven underwise.

Very low, I got a lot of tokens specifically ETH tokens, and I can't look at my portfolio because it's hurting my eyes.
My last looked, my portfolio was down at least 90% and that will hurt a typical investor who don't understand the crypto market trend.
Though it's bad but I still don't loss my hope, we can be up 10 times or even 100 times so if we see the opposite, let's just accept it, it will not stay forever.

Though most altcoins are critically low now but Funny at it may sound, sometimes, the altcoins are not completely depending on bitcoin even though Bitcoin holds the largest market share for now, bitcoin might be low in value while other altcoins will shoot up.

Early last year, I lost about 14000 usd out of greed when suddenly most of my altcoins increased from the value of 1500 to about 14000usd even when bitcoin was low though it was on consolidation.. Most altcoins rises when bitcoin is consolidating, so bitcoin having low value doesn’t mean altcoins can’t rise without it, they can only give more value when they rise along with it.

yes that's the risk of trading crypto. I've experienced that, and now I don't trade for a long time. I trade daily, where in one day I have to make a small profit. so that my capital is not stuck on some assets.
