Yes that's true as we have seen too many temporary pumps which are not even more than $500 but users go crazy and starts investing like there is no tomorrow and then again sell it out even for minor dump thus causing more damage. People need to understand we can call it a pump only if the value of bitcoin stays above $5000 for over 3 to 4 weeks. We cannot judge the market by just the pump or dump or few hundred dollars for couple of days time.

I wish every investor in bitcoin thinks this way because this will eliminate the panic selling of the bitcoins and altcoins prematurely by the confused users who hurry up in buying and does the same mistake while selling as well. We need a clear mindset and a plan of action about the market trend like if there is a drop then until when we can hold on without withdrawal awaiting for a rise and in case of pump we need similar plan about cashout. I agree with you and for me, some of us are already expecting about the bull run because of they have seen that there's a positive change in the market price. 2k usd is not small . you must be fortunate enough to come up with a big capital like that   . for us who are only an average  person max capital that we can get is only around 100 to 200 usd  . but anyways  i see that you are now recovering from your bad start  .  the bad experience that you achieve can be used to improve your skills more  . goodluck  

One more thing that id like to add   . next time avoid gambling big amounts because gambling is too risky . prioritize trading/investing first  .

I think today, the price of bitcoin and altcoin has decreased considerably. when the price of bitcoin reaches $ 4200, that is a good thing, and of course raises new hopes. however, I think now the price is back to normal. well, i guess this month the price of bitcoin has been trying very well to go up. I just hope that next month the bitcoin price will be really stable at the price of $ 4000.

Good to see you are back. But really sorry for loosing such a huge amount. We do have lots of ways here in this forum to earn back the lost amount. Just need to stick with it consistantly instead of going out when the market is dry and coming back when you feel ok. Crypto's nature is its fluctuation. Hence study the market and about crypto currencies' move. This will help you find ways to earn more money here.

Even if you loose a single penny it is an amount you earned and you can decide for yourself what you do with that. If you think that it is not a small amount then why gambling with it, so you understood the risk you are taking either when it comes to trading or gambling. I suggest you to invest in the long term be it in bitcoin or any potential penny coins or tokens in the top list depending on your budget.

Large whales will never be happy with just 500$ er btc as those have the huge visions and have seen btc moving till 18k. So their anticipation will also be that it should be reaching as high as possible because this will give them the maximum profits . So btc will continue to rise.

Bitcoin is pumping that is right but i dont think that it can reach high value just like what it reached last year. It so dumped right now that makes so many ICO to hold on and waiting for the market to rise again. Holding is the important thing for us to help.

You are doing a great job on facing all the testing times in this market. Gambling won't really do good and you should stick to trading because if ever you succeed on your trades, there's going to be a point where you will be tempted to try it again to test your luck until you realized that you have gambled all you winnings until you lose in the end.

It is also already a big amount for me and it is really quite inviting because of bitcoin value is slowly rising and I believe it will rise more in the near future and hopefully this year would be a great year again for bitcoin and for all of us who still holds their coins patiently.

What you experience, many people who have experienced it are also including me
the right choice is to wait patiently and stay optimistic because your hopes and dreams will one day come true depending on how strong you are dealing with it, I also have bitcoin when prices are high and I hope prices will continue to rise and what happens is that bitcoin falls very dramatic.
Regret is not an option but must change the way of thinking is good and I let it happen and continue to hold it until bitcoin rises again above the price I bought before even though I had to wait long and I decided to invest in the long term.
