The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?
The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

before this, I always believe Ethereum is the leader of altcoins. But now I think Ripple more dominant than ethereum. Ripple make so many improvements in 2018 and make many new agreements with the world-class company and government institute. Even Ripple price still so far from Ethereum, I believe someday Ripple with catch Ethereum.

According to coinmarketcap the king is now Ethereum. But for how long?
Ripple can´t be king of altcoin since it is not a cryptocurrency but centralized solution for banks, like JPM Coin.
until now the coin that leads the altcoin market is eth. because until whenever eth is still developing today. although sometimes the situation has no certainty. |

I consider and still Ethereum is the Leader of Altcoin, With the upcoming upgrade to Constantinople it will prove how this Altcoin change alot since year 2015. The father of Smart Contract or Blockchain V.20 still leading for me for the upcoming more years.
maybe now ETH is still the best altcoin compared to coins from other altcoins and no one can find out in the future the development of crypto or altcoin currencies |

for now Ethereum is still the best but there are still loopholes for other altcoins to replace Ethereum because there are currently many pretty good altcoins and the potential to be able to defeat Ethereum if Ethereum doesn't go forward. but I am sure if Ethereum will not be easy to replace. |

Right. I agree with you. Many coins with market cap in the top 100 are still tokens on the Ethereum blockchain platform, and ETH is at number 2. So besides BTC is king, ETH is the king of Altcoins.

I thought it is still obvious that Ethereum is the best altcoin and the most used one. Even by IEOs the most popular collecting method is Ether and this causes the great price changes of this coin. I hope it could compete with BTC in the nearest future.

That should be ethereum, it started the blockchain 2.0 aka smart contract, i can only see it grows further while others playing catchup. Ripple has different market altogether. And we will see many others closing the gap in the medium term. Can't see any one that can match ETH blockchain. EOS, ADA, IOTA will be among alt that has the proper tech to be the real challenger in th s space.

However, ETH is often pumped due to BTC. Also, the ETH itself is already altcoin, and most token's being on its platform does not mean it can affect the entire market. It also has a few dominance interest, but not like BTC. |
