Am of the opinion, that ethereum is the king of altcoin. This is because ethereum plays a huge role in the crypto sphere. Ethereum is the most used altcoin in ICO's and most projects use the ethereum platform in their smart contract, thereby making ethereum the most used token for smart contract.

There are many altcoin in the cryptocurrency space and few are exceptional. I believe the king of altcoin should be based on the popularity and use case of a project, not only the value. for now maybe most indeed ethereum network used by altcoin. but now stellar, and eos also have started to develop their networks. do not cover the possibility of five years in the future they could be aligned on market crypto.

most likely it will happen. but I think that the Ethereum functionality will be embedded in Bitcoin. I don't know yet how it will be, but I am sure that it will be possible
