As if everyone knows after bitcoin, it is Eth which is the king of altcoin no matter which coin come near to eth still eth stay number 2 many coins compete with eth like neo tron xrp but still eth market cap and developments stay strong

That would be Ethereum. Ethereum first of all, is not just a digital currency. It is a blockchain-based platform with many aspects. Its system is uniquely flexible and extensible and it is already being used within a wide range of industries. And after its Constantinople upgrade which aims on improving Ethereum’s performance, scalability, and efficiency, i don't think there will be another altcoin to surpass these great cryptocurrency.

Well, i’m not looking for a king of altcoins but if i have to name one, it is ethereum for sure. Basically ethereum is the strongest and most reliable alt on the market. That’s why alot of people still support it.

It is obvious that at the moment the king of altcoins is none other than Ethereum under the leadership of Vitalik Buterin. The king still can not throw from second place, it says a lot.
The present place belongs to Ethereum and seems it will continue for a long time. But in recent months tokens have been created based on others. Especially, the new projects based on it at the time of the last price drop in ETH began to fear and some of them turned to others. IMO future behaviors may change statistics fundamentally. |

Well, i’m not looking for a king of altcoins but if i have to name one, it is ethereum for sure. Basically ethereum is the strongest and most reliable alt on the market. That’s why alot of people still support it.
Simply because more ICOs were choose to run their token on ethereum than other because people are familiar with ethereum gas fee and also it will be more covenient to transact their tokens but is that make ethereum as king of altcoin. |

The king of the Altcoins now I would call Ethereum.
He in my opinion very well holds its position in the cryptocurrency market, despite the high market volatility.
Ethereum is chosen by respected people of the market, new investors trust their investments.
This is a coin that has already gone down in history.

I don't have problems both potential because same of the coins are potential but the question is the most and better to this coin and that is the ethereum. I love both ethereum and litecoin and it is my priority altcoins because I see my money to become very high after few years and for sure you will earn more money too once you invest to the ethereum and litecoin is less risk compared to other. But the king of altcoins is ethereum and wait there's more not only king of altcoins but also king of all cryptocurrency in the future.

At the moment, the king of the Altcoins is Ethereum. And this is undeniable for me for two reasons. Ethereum has the largest capitalization among all the other altcoins. In the blockchain of the Ethereum network, there are a lot of tokens that could not be born without Ethereum.
What can I say, many altcoins were originally created as Ethereum tokens, for example, EOS.

Of all the answers almost all think ETH is the king of Altcoin but there are also those who differ in opinion. The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?
The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

As of now, ethereum might be the best alternative for Bitcoin but it is definitely through it's price. But when we see it's volume, ethereum is way far from Bitcoin and ripple is the closest to it. So as long as ripple has the edge to top as second, I cannot say that eth is the best altcoin out there in the market. |

For the moment, it is definitely ETH. Not sure for how long it will be. But atleast for next few years it will be in that spot.
I doubt how long he will now be able to stay in 2nd place , I think this place could easily take bnb , this coin is developing very strongly and the last ieo I only think they will grow kapitalizacija and will be included in the 3 top coins |

In my own perception, i would give the king of all altcoins for ethereum coin. Giving credit to ethereum for being the number one altcoins for me, because ethereum coin has the good potential and quality coin. And ethereum coin has the second most volume coin in the market, ranking next to bitcoin. So i think it is the ethereum coin who is the king of the altcoins.

The question definitely has a very serious meaning for the market, but it seems to me that everything is clear here and people are already very likely to choose altcoins from the top 5 that are on the coinmarketcap. The whole thing really has weight.

I wanna believe it's eth but when I see how large is the influence of Binance, I think their BNB coin and their sidekick Tron altcoin will be the king of altcoins. I think BNB will spread its reach and they will make their own blockchain eventually and I know tron will benefit from that. They will surely also dominate online gambling worldwide.

Why do I always come across the post? Hahaha.. Asking who the king of altcoin is, to me is just the question of a beginner. Everybody knows ethereum is at the lead of all other altcoins now and might remain there for a longer time. Other altcoins, nevertheless can come up to the position of ethereum if they put up a good and healthy competition. This won't be easy anyway, but this is exactly what the crypto users needs at this time.
