That is right, but we have a chance to see another bottom if bitcoin price cannot break the higher price and I will still be worried about that. Even if it's not the absolute bottom, it's still close enough where I'd be buying anything I possibly could at these prices. You don't have to get in at the absolute bottom to do well. As long as you get in during a big dip and don't buy in at the top, you should be fine in the long run. However, I do think the bottom has came and gone as far as the price of Bitcoin. You should have been buying that a year ago if you wanted it super cheap.

As said it is impossible to find the exact bottom. As the market is not same as world market it is quite hard to predict the moves precisely. Good is to learn the process of trading where profiting is made out of the price variation happening with time. You just describe how market price action works. LMAO. The surest signal of a bottomed-out situation is when at least two major previously known support levels that turned resistance is broken. Better yet if it was broken in higher timeframes.

No one really knows when we have reached the bottom, but a lot of people like to pretend like they do, as you say that is impossible to know and it is only after the fact that you know that the price is not going to go down any further, but when the price is going down you have no way to know for sure that the price is not going to go down anymore, so it is important to be realistic about what we can do when the market is going down or otherwise we're going to buy at the wrong moment and lose money because of it.

Entire market, judging by the coin market cap, had the bottom last year, but who is the pulling the market? Top coins and some new and strong projects, while some coins are going down and it seems like they will go deeper! So it's fair to say that some coins reached their bottom long time ago, while some not. And just a quick reminder, don't expect from every coin to recover from that bottom, some will stay there!

The bottom was at the level of $3k and it was already a year ago. I think that there is no chance for the BTC price to fall so low again. However, I agree that we have to be very careful, because the recent increases were in my opinion a little too fast. Certainly it was not a natural increase in price, so I suspect it could be a bull trap.

Wouldn't be so sure about it. BTC is quite struggling to get past some point and there is nothing on the horizon that should guarantee it's growth. Halving is not something that will have such a big impact. Each one of them has smaller impact and this will be the last meaningful one. We are getting to the point where fees should be what  keeps the system going and not the block reward. Besides of that unfortunately nobody need any crypto at this point. Still gotta wait for more development and while people get bored the price will be dropping.

We would have to fall more than 50% this year to get to the rates we were trading at last year. I just don't see that happening. The halving will have more of an impact on the price of Bitcoin than you think it will. People are still mining Bitcoin and if you cut their returns in half, they're going to charge more for the coins that they're mining. Also, historically the halving has brought with it a big bull run.

You do not really have a way to know that, while it is possible we have already reached the bottom it is still not a sure thing, there are many traders that are waiting for the price of bitcoin to go even lower and I think they have some good points about why they believe this may be the case, the only way we are going to find out if you are right is to let the market move for some more weeks and see if the price of bitcoin can go up and surpass 9000 during that time, if it happens then most likely we already reached the bottom but if it does not then we may still get another bottom.

But, I dont think it will be same with altcoin. altcoin is risky to me, that's why I am doubt to invest in altcoin now
