You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO. What was $5000 is now worth $500. You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.
You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x. Would you:
1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.
Share your thoughts.
If I were on such situation, I won't add another fresh money into the new project. I won't convert all of those previous alts for BTC/ETH either just to participate on such hyped token sale. It would be better to focus on our list of alts or making another investment on a well established coin instead of the new one. |

I wouldn't advice you to pump money I to the same project. My advice or what I would do in this situation is diversify my income into other prospective projects to recover my funds in the ICO projects. I won't sell the ICOs token I will hodl and see what happens in the next alt bull run. |

Well i lose pretty much money, but i do think the best think i can do was, find a good coin to invest and just hold that coin for a good time until the project success and i believe i'm gonna recover all of my money. Right now i hold UBT and i do plan to hold it for 2-4 years cause i believe UBT need time to be a mature project. |

To recover your losses you need to take another risk. if you already have the same experience and knowledge, if you connect it correctly, you can return your losses and get more profits.

I don't think there is anything you can really do in this case, if the coin you have in your portfolio is good and they still have hope maybe you need to have a little more patience and everything you think you lost will come back. crypto always have their downtime and it will eventually come back up.

As for me, what I'm gonna do is to stop day trading and focus more on holding solid project coin so as to build back my portfolio, also I will need to learn when to take profits, when to dump all and when to hold as regards the news from the community of any projects I'm holding

i think this has to do more with taking risks. If I want to use what is left of the previous coin to reinvest, it is possible that it won't be enough to get me back what I have lost initially. So, I'd rather start a new investment and be hopeful that the hyped coin will pay off as it is envisaged

The best is to cut your ties with those coins that are dropping much and get more bitcoin. You just can't say that a solid project coin will save your losing days because one day they can return the favor to you. Most of the projects are even more volatile than bitcoin. |

currently BTC is loosing the power of moving higher, so the best strategy right now as I see is to find altcoins with less gains and buy it as much as you can.

This is the most reasonable solution. I, frankly, see two ways to restore my losses. The first is hold. No matter when you bought your coins, wait and you will be rewarded.
Second investing is on a recession. Do not miss your chance to earn.

Personally i think in order for you to recover your losses and to have tangible earnings you must try and try to invest now because its the time for investments as the crypto market starts to grow again and we see it on the last couple of weeks.if you lose investments before and make some new one today's its a great opportunity for profit making.

I think to recover from losing profits is to re invest again to your asset which is you really most trust among other coins that you believe has a potential to get hype and have a better value in the future. Like bitcoin, we know how long time bitcoin get steady on bear market and now its gradually recover.

For me to recover my losses from the coins I have invested, I will try other coins and trade more. Also, I will find more jobs or bounties so that I can earn more. I will hold more and wait until it boom. Maybe it will give me more and recover my losses.

The best ways to recoup losses is to stay calm, think through the previous strategies which did not work out profitably, come out with the gaps, seek advice from crypto experts, draw new strategies and begin a new set of investment portfolio. This time around, the investment must be backed with good market analysis after performing a personal market study.

What we ought to learn is leaving behind projects that were losing on and restrategizing on other prospective ones. It will take far too long to recover for such project investors could've lost interest as well. |

I hold very good altcoins and yes they've lose value since last bear market but I believe that f I sell now I lose so I decide to keep holding till altcoins start showing strong bullish movement

After I lost most of my money on trading platforms I decide to quit and go back into promoting projects like bounties or even airdrops ,sometimes what you don't expect can happen ,I used to earn big from trading until now

Since the market became bearish, I have lost more than 70% value of my portfolio. That is because I held on to my cryptos eventhough I see the trend going down. But with the current rise in the price of Bitcoin, I became positive that my loses would be converted to gains soon. I hope that altcoin will follow in price rise after bitcoin.

But before you do the work you mentioned, you should understand your mistake in this failed investment because you can only recover your loss and fix your mistakes when you know where you are wrong, if you don't realize the seriousness of the problem, you will never be able to grow steadily. And a good point in thinking about our mistake is that we will have more time to adjust our emotions, loss always creates negative and lasting emotions, we need a short time to eliminate it, good psychology and good knowledge, loss will gradually recover through a number of opportunities |
