Well for me, price is everything because price is the reflection of the overall company's performance. If the price goes down then even without reading any news from a certain company, you know that something is wrong. Price is one of the most accessible indicator for any market. Without a good price or good movement for the price then it doesn't make sense for an investor to get into that investment.

Not always, there is many projects with good development and activity on social media / github and with the updates to the technology behind the idea and there are still highly undervalued.

People seem to forget how long bitcoin was hovering under a dollar while development was underway.  Same can be said for a lot of these altcoin projects that have a terrible price but a bright future.

Would agree with this. Do not be so overwhelmed of the price, it might drop again. Unless there is a new milestone for Bitcoin, the price might continuously grow. But as far as I know, I haven't heard great news about the reason for Bitcoin to rise. But I would still prefer to buy and hold regardless of what the price. One thing is for sure, the price will reach more than what we expect in time.

This strategy also could cause a lot of damage in your portfolio. If you hold dead coins, it is better to sell them in a loss but do not forget that all top coins are also undervalued so stiil you can compensate this loss by buying highly undervalued altcoins/bitcoins. But do not forget about your portfolio, always track your cryptocurencies progress.

That's your belief and others have their own, we can make our decision here and if we feel it's the right timing to buy we should.

As a whole, I agree with your point of view, but some details should not be missed.
1. Whales accumulate only promising crypto currencies.
2. The goal of many projects is to make money at any cost.
3. Many people don't understand trade, so they act illogical.
But certainly the blockchain technology is a great idea. And when its full adoption is held, the world will develop in a new way.
