Because the amount of money I'd make on it now, is pennies compared to the potential pounds I could make in a few years if it goes exponential.

Are you serious about it? Those shitcoins will not even be worth to sell in the coming years if the dev team already abandoned those projects. They will stay in your wallet untouched because there's no exchange that is willing to trade that coin.

Yeah I also got some shitcoins in my wallet too. And most of them are valueless. But still I hold them. Cause it's better to sell of  in a bad price than hold. Many of them even don't have a market at this moment still I hold them and hope that one day this coins will be great again. And it was the icos season when a lot of coins came but most of them are scam or failed after sometimes. But most of these coins came form airdrop so I don't even care one two coin I have that where I invested and they got failed. So it's ok. Atleast I learnt something.

It is better to save the shit coin for display only, maybe the shit coin can go up at any time and sometimes save the shitcoin because the volume on the market is not there.

That is not an issue to check whether we're holding those coins despite the fact that it's not beneficial for the time being. All I am centered was around promising coins which absolutely have a decent future on my accounts, yet for those shitcoins I had; it's constantly inconclusive. Am as yet hanging tight for altcoins to be in the groove again, ideally shitcoins will likewise increase gainful cost soon.

If there is no active market for your shitcoin, why would you want to save it? you will save it until it got listed on market and you will sell it asap?

In the cryptocurrency space, all the prices of coins and Tokens are not always relative to that of bitcoin. The altcoins market is extremely focused the shit coin today can be the top coins in the coming future and as well as can be expected be shit coin in the days to come additionally holding crappy coins in your wallet does not by any stretch of the imagination cost you anything except if you are wanting to rebuild your portfolio if not simply left it alone.

I keep my altcoins on my wallet because I still hope that at least some of them will start to cost something, since 70% of the altcoins on my wallet are worth nothing, and it's very sad actually

Yes, indeed, few people will think about your question: why, after all, do the guys keep these incomprehensible coins. Apparently, there is hope that one day, a cheap coin in my wallet, will grow in value and become a very expensive coin. And I'll finally buy, for this coins, a Lamborghini car.

I did not avoid the altcoin, but I still survived because I believe in the altcoin that I have, there is still hope to go to the moon, they are born from legitimate projects so there is still a chance to go up again the next day.

Some coins costs now less money than the cost of the transaction. So this is why our wallets will always have something like this

Finally I sold my konios token (KON) after they have deleted their social media IDs. It was worth $100 total when I bought them and they went for a sale for 10 cents in LAtoken exchange. I even thought of selling it when the valuation was $86 but thought hodlers would profit in the long run.

There are some valuable alts to hold for long term but the problem nowadays is that people don't have the patient to hold, everyone want to rip the fruit of their investment within the shortest possible time, if we actually want real adoption then the project needs to develop and build a real product fpr real life usage.

This is the situation of almost every altcoin holder, maybe the name alone changes. Here it is konios with someone else it can be siacoin and so many other coins which has a huge difference between the peak value and the present value. As we keep hold very few among the altcoins seems to grow at times while majority of the altcoins keeps falling.

Being a holder is key and very important. Selling some tokens off immediately after listing has thought me great lessons that holding is very important. If you've ever sold a coin cheaply and wake up the next morning realising that the coin or token has increased 5times on value, then you will really understand that holding shitcoin is somtimes the best decision to undertake.

Its surprising when people still hold some shit coins in their portfolio. I will say some have no other choice than to keep holding these coins because they have faith in them. Who knows? Probably, they might be valuable in some years to come.

Well, for me, the value is completely ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense selling off. I might as well hold it in my wallet and hope that some how, there is a massive price increment and the value becomes meaningful. Surprising things have happened in this industry and it wouldn't be uncommon to find them happening again. I could just be lucky to see a massive Boom in prices.

Yeah i am still holding some coins that are that pure crap right now, value should be over 200% of what they are worth right now, but it makes no sense to sell anyway.

I think that it might be worth to hold them for a few more months or years, maybe something is going to change.

There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Maybe the name of that exchange is Yobit, there are a lot of tokens, that are worth 1 satoshi and ready to get pump if you bought it on Yobit, it will be used to pump all these coins, they are very notorious on pumping dead coins, but it's not recommended to buy coins that can be considered a shitcoin because they will always remain a shitcoin.

I keep them just incase. All I need to the wallet exe and the backup of wallet.dat and that is it. If one day the coin has some use then I can always get to it. I don't want to have regrets by deleting it then one day maybe there is a swap or other plan for those coins? Maybe they hit a new exchange.
