[IMP: ANN] Be Ready For Something Exciting, Titan Is Upgrading To a New Blockchain Technology

We have an important announcement to make. Titan project and coin are being upgraded to new blockchain technology. More details about the new technology will be revealed soon.

Through this release, we want to notify all our existing and new users that all Titan Coin wallets are under the up-gradation process. We, therefore, request all titan coin holders (Desktop wallet) and users to move all their funds from the desktop wallet to the web wallet, as soon as possible. For those who have funds in any exchange or in our android or web wallet, the up-gradation/transfer process will be automatic.

Here are the highlights of this announcement:

• Titan Platform is being moved to a new, upgraded blockchain.
• The copy of the blockchain is safe with us.
• Titan is shifting from Staking to Mining, so the desktop wallet is being upgraded with a new version
• The old desktop wallet version will no longer be operational, so the users need to shift their coins to the web wallet.
• The coins that were available on 09/10/2019 12:00 PM on the old wallet addresses will be replaced by new coins on the upgraded wallet address.
• The Staking of titan coins stops, effective from 09/10/2019 12:00 PM. Staking after the given time won’t be considered.
• For those who have their funds in any exchange or in our android or web wallet, the process is automatic, so no need to transfer funds manually.
• ONLY desktop wallet users (who were staking titan coins) need to transfer all their coins to the Web Wallet
• Once all the coins from desktop wallet are moved to the new web wallet, then users can move their coins anywhere (third-party exchange or wallets) from their web wallet accounts
• Titan coins that are not transferred to the Web Wallet by the end of this timeline will automatically become invalid/useless
• Any deposits to exchanges or other wallets from the old wallet versions may result in the loss of coins, so users are requested to use only the new web wallet. 

Please sign in to your Titan web wallet account in order to move all your coins there. If you don’t already have a Titan Web Wallet, create one here. For new users, all web wallets must be KYC validated in order to make the transfer. No withdrawal or transfer will be allowed without KYC. KYC is not for existing users.

Each Titan Web Wallet has a unique wallet address, which you can use to transfer your coins. For now, users can only transfer coins to the web wallet address, as all other wallets will cease to operate shortly.

Also, only one transaction per user is allowed to get the coins transferred to the new web wallet address. That means you will have to transfer all the coins in one go.

Update Regarding Blockchain Technology Upgradation

The people who have their balances in Any of the listed Exchange and the one who has their balance on Web wallet and android wallet needs not to worry at all.

Every single coin is usable which was there. Once we will update our wallets the deposit and withdrawal will be enabled and that will work smoothly as previously were working. People have to update their windows and Linux wallet only.

To get the balance to the new wallet they need to move their balances from present window wallets and Linux wallets which are using old blockchain now, to existing web wallet which will remain operational for deposits of Titan coins which are on old blockchain.  We have a swap actually of old coins to new coins and the web wallet that will move to new blockchain automatically.

The deposit and withdrawal to exchanges after this fork will be enabled. Nothing is to worry this is simply a fork which was the requirement of the project as per future needs. We are coming with Titan coin burning system which will reduce the supply and increase the value.

We do not initiate the swap on our platform only. We initiated this swap in every exchange and we have paid for the same also. The issue was of desktop wallet holders swap, as few people were staking it so we facilitate our web wallet to swap those to new blockchain.

Usually, projects swap the coins on their portal then they go for a free swap in exchanges. Here we initiated the swap everywhere by giving them a fee for swap

Titan Coin Shifts From Staking to Mining Mode

We have some very good news for the users and investors of the titan coin/projects. We are now in the process of shifting towards the mining mode, which will be completed within the next one or two days.

Here’s what you can expect:

The staking of Titan Coin stops with immediate effect. No more titan coin holders or users will be participating in the coin staking. Now, the project is in the mining mode, where new titan coins will be created only through mining.

To mine new titan coins now, users will have to download and use the new Titan Window wallet, which can be accessed at the Titan’s Github link. Once you have downloaded the wallet and logged in to your account, you can see all the mining details there, including the total supply, number of coins mined, number of coins to be mined, etc.

To ensure a smooth shift of titan coins and users to the new system, we have already contacted exchanges, providing them instructions to download and use the new wallet and swap the old coins with new ones in a 1:1 ratio. Users can expect the swapping process to be completed within the next couple of days.

Titan Technology is being upgraded to x21s Algorithm

As you may already be aware, titanprojects is being upgraded to a new blockchain technology, which is better in every aspect.

Many of our users/investors have been asking questions about the new technology, so here’s a brief overview.

The technology to which titan is being upgraded is called X21S. It is a proof-of-work algorithm, which supports fast and efficient mining of cryptocurrencies. You can read our mining announcement to know more about how to participate in titan coin mining.

About the new x21s algorithm of Titan

Titan coin is a digital payment currency designed to facilitate a secure and fast, peer-to-peer mode for international payments.

The major update to the Titan technology is the addition of the X21S proof-of-work algorithm. It is a GPU-friendly mining algorithm/technology which focuses on improving the security and speed of blockchain transactions, enabling more blocks to be created in less time.

Block Creation Time: ~60 secs

X21s is a mining algorithm that combines the properties of the X16s and X22i. It starts with 16 hashing functions of X16s and is further upgraded to add 5 more hashing algorithms, namely haval256, tiger, lyra2, gost512, and sha256, which further improved the overall performance of the blockchain system.

Another thing that stands out about the X21s algorithm is that it is GPU-friendly, which means that new titan coins can be mined only with the use of GPUs.
