I've downloaded binaries for iOS and launched it and after 2 hours it was still syncing, is that ok?

It's usual situation. Now it require much more time for synchronization (about 4-6 hours)

Did you use command 'save' or 'exit' before you closed the window?

I have typed 'save' in command line. I've already read that if you don't save it the process will start from the beginning.

Good news! In two weeks we're "going to see a next significant step in Bytecoin's and CryptoNote's development".

Looking forward to see the updates soon. The previous changes, tbh, was a big step forward in CN development

Our community web is great!  It's really convenient to read news about BCN.
I wonder when there id going to be charts? IMO it's really important.

57.7% of all Litecoins are owned by 26 addresses  (0.01%)
46% of all Dogecoins are owned by 58 addresses  (0.01%)
39.8% of all Peercoins are owned by 31 addresses  (0.14%)
39% of all Blackcoins are owned by 11 addresses  (0.05%)
And I can show you that all crypto currencies have this "problem".
Do you really think premine, if any, is really such a big problem?

This is a big part of why I am trying to get http://abis.io (a giving protocol) embedded in different cryptocurrency systems and wallets.

what new Pool has been updated to latest release, check out the new "luck" feature under mean?
http://bcn.extremepool.org.

the luck feature is as described, how lucky is the pool in hitting blocks. It also displays this on an individual block basis.

nice to see extremepool is always up to date.

Extremepool is great - It's the one I use most of the time.  Smiley

The only reason people say "premined" or "scam" is because they dislike that the coin was technically released on July 4, 2012 to the deep web and then "publicly" released a few months ago.  All of the relevant historical information is listed or linked in this thread and on the community website.  There is no stealing or scamming going on...There have been emails from devs and emails from CryptoNote devs released, screenshots from websites showing use years ago, charts and other historical information that convey this to be the case.

You are saying that thousands of people were mining this coin for two years and yet not a single one of those thousands ever got around to mentioning the coin anywhere on the internet?

It is just such an obvious scam.

Who would fall for that?

If you like it, buy it.

People who are older and spot the scam have an obligation to point it out.

you are right ... its time to buy it. Grin

I like Bytecoin (BCN). BYTECOIN.ORG the best to mine with MinerGate

Lol, anyone who actually buys bytecoin is an idiot beyond helping. Price will never go up simply because 82% of the coin is controlled by a few people. They could dump this to nothingness in a split second.

Haven't I said I'm getting tired of this constant FUD?

The price has been up and down, this is a natural process. I bet 1 BTC it will be up to 10+ satoshi again by the end of the week.

Not sure it would mean anything when BCN top volume is ~5 BTC.

WTF would you use a coin with incapable devs ? They copy past other coins fixes but they do it so badly that it happens to crash everything else.

Oh and a side note; this coin has NO demand. Only 6 buy orders!

I'd advise you to move to another coin. I wont even mention one. There is no need. Any coin you choosse is better. Well maybe not Auroracoin as it has a lot of similarities with BCN.

RUN!
