as far as i know, the FX OS is a modified android ? can i just install the OS on any phone ?

The f(x) Operating System (OS) is an Android-modified blockchain-enabled operating system. Users can switch seamlessly between blockchain and traditional mode.
In the blockchain mode, every bit and byte is fully decentralized including your calls, messages, browsers and apps. When in traditional mode, the f(x) OS supports all Android features.

What is f(x) chain?f(x) chain is a high performance and secure public blockchain. High speed is achieved via both software and hardware implementation (XPOS, XPhone, etc.).

What is f(x) decentralized docker?Decentralized docker, i.e. DDocker, is an open platform for developers to build, ship and run distributed applications.
What is f(x) IPFS?InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol and network designed to store data in a distributed system.
What is a node on the Function X network?A node can be any hardware that is powered by Function X (yes, the five elements introduced above). In other words, XPhone, XPOS and other smart hardwares can be potential nodes.
Will this be a proprietary project?It will be an open source undertaking. In the worst case scenario, or rather the best one, the f(x) ecosystem is designed to continue to flourish with or without the company (Pundi X), as per the spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto. Ultimately, Pundi X will ensure a long lasting growth to Function X while the company continues to serve the ecosystem.
How secure is Function X?Owners have full control of the data, no one - whether it’s third party, ISPs, or even network nodes can control, limit or eavesdrop on your data. Only the owner of the private key can encrypt, send or destroy information in the network.
Who created the Function X?Function X is created by Pundi X Labs.
Who owns Function X?Function X was conceived with the ultimate goal of it being completely decentralized including its own ownership. Therefore, it will be autonomous and owned by no one.
Is the f(x) blockchain also a Function X?f(x) blockchain can be used loosely to mean both the Function X ecosystem and the public ledger component of the ecosystem that is the f(x) chain.
