I do think your communication has generally been good - and I admit I have most likely misunderstood the process. In that misunderstanding I did not realise my coins were not safe. Unfortunately the timing was off for me as well - this all happened at a time I had no access to my wallet as I have been away!
If I have come across as whiney and rude then I apologise. I will admit that I was hugely disappointed.
Your offer to help out is awesome - and your general attitude is one of the reasons I stuck with both nitro pool and Caishen (and in fact why I switched from UTC).
Teamviewer mobile app is your friend if you're going to be somewhere other than home and need access to your wallets. Use it all the time when on the road.

So - the reason i became confused is posts like this one... Is it known what will be the last block of CAI mining?
Yes once wallet is done, We will post an exact date as to last day of mining. Right now it's a rough estimate like I posted before. http://caiblk.broken-arrow.pl/chain/Caishen/q/totalbc this address shows total coins mined on CAI, so 1.6 Mill + 368K that will be destroyed = 1968000 to be mined on CAI before the mining end. That puts the final day at around : 10.5 days from now. This post talks about an end to the mining. An end on the 19th. As we know - the mining did not end and the coin was overmined resulting in many of us not being able to convert. Like many others, I cannot watch the forums all day every day. Then I go away on business thinking my coins are safe, I try to exchange them on the 19th and its too late! Stuhlmans offer is amazing, and I wholeheartedly thank him for making it, but it is not necessarily the case that I or others have ignored the warnings. When we talk about miscommunication, the post above is a clear example - for somebody skimming through the forums because they don't have the time to read 200+ new posts, this is the sort of message that leads to problems! Before I went away, I read numerous messages like the one above and believed that mining would stop.

Like i said, it doesn't matter if mining ended or not. Alot of the people who are complaining now could have exchanged their CAI to CAIx once a day to be sure that they would not lose much if the cutoff was reached. This is not the case with everyone but a lot of the people who lost out could have done this. You had more than enough time.

Hi all!! I was searching some info about how to convert CAI to CAIx and just saw that it's no longer possible and the "overmining thing" happening after 18th May. I mined some CAI since the beginning (I knew the coin because Stuhlman told about a new project on Ultracoin thread) and then when I heard about this change to CAIx and that minning would be available only until May 18th, I mined some more. I know I should had read more exactly the terms and how the process was going to be (I saw the Coin-Swap thing, but I supossed there was more time ahead to convert, and just the mining ended on May 18th). There is any way to convert that CAI to CAIx??? It's not so much, just 1000 CAI, but anyway it would be nice to be able to do it. I know the change in Coin-Swap is not available anymore, I just tried to do it a few minutes ago and the market is not available anymore, that's why I searched here hahaha. Of course, I could show proof the CAI was mined before May 18th and I'm not trying to make profit on the overmining at low difficulty. The last 88 CAI, were sent a little bit ago to my wallet from the nitro pool, but I suposse the transaction history could be shown. The other 922 CAI, they are in my wallet from April 18th (the first time I sent accumulated CAI from pool to my wallet) to May 10th. Whatever the answer is, thanx a lot for reading and understanding. I apologize for my communication because I'm not a native English speaker, as I'm sure you already realized hahaha.

Apologize to haven't seen this coin on time! This just happened to me. I haven't pay attention to this coin until it is too late. I have 1060 CAI, but I don't know what I should do about it. Please help. It is not much, but I mined for a few weeks on it.

Well let us settle down here, unfortunately some miners have lost electricity cost, you did not pay,$100 dollars to buy the coins, you mined the coins,so it is a small loss and maybe a lesson has been learned, move on and make lots of money mining in crypto world.Or buy some caix and when it is darkcoin price, you will be happy

Please Ger, I will help these people recover the CAI if they had it before the 18. I can not do it right away but as soon as the multipool is up I will put my rigs on it and mine it for them. Miners made Nitro pools great and I will not turn my back on them. anyone that missed the exchange deadline they can PM me CAI wallet address and CAIx wallet address. If they owned CAI prior to the 18 I will replace it for them from my mining proceeds at the multipool.

Hey it's great that you're willing to do that, but that doesn't mean I have to respect any of these fools that are willing to leech off you because of their own ignorance and unwillingness to accept responsibility for their own inaction.

Can we set up a separate complaint thread for the foolish people that couldn't be bothered to follow directions in the generous time frame given? Having all of them moan about it in this thread one after the other does not benefit this coin.

generous?? Generous is months, not days So, you are saying they should have notified everyone about the May 18th deadline for exchanging CAI to CAIx (stated in multiple posts) on the day of the coin's initial March 14th announcement, when they did not even envision this change? A lot of the people here grumbling about of the lack of communication, or missing the boat, need to just suck it up and take the loss. I can see legitimate issues, but the devs and The Stuhl have bent over backwards to accommodate issues, which is rare an the majority of altcoins...I mean Stuhl personally reimbursing people for CAI mined/held prior to 5/18 is a huge testimony to his integrity and commitment to the success of this coin. Enjoy the potential but don't continue to grouse over missing out.

generous?? Generous is months, not days ... said the guy who boasts "forex" (hence HFT) in his pseudo. The Stuhl is more than exceptionally honest and generous with people down there. It seems only a few understand the value of the man. After having had so many scams there are still forumers who think he's trying to get their coins on the cheap. I just can't believe some of your reactions here.
