WE ARE UP AND HASHING Smiley

Some tips for miners to get started quickly:

Vertcoin Miner 0.5.2 and 0.5.3 will work fine.

Here is a sample 280x/7970 Config (340Khs) 980/1480

vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://caishen.leetpools.net:3333 -u user.1 -p x -v 1 -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8193

If you are having problems launching the miner or if some of the cards are showing 0Khs, or are just having problems in general make sure:

You have sufficient ram. (I am running 5 280x's on 4gb of ram). ALSO INCREASE your virtual memory. I was able to fix all the issues I had with getting all 5 cards working by setting my virtual memory to 16GB

A GREAT RESOURCE for configs regarding scrypt-n:

Nitro has almost 100% of the NW hash.
Over 80% for sure. Hashing.at is the 2nd biggest pool, and it has only 50MH/s, while nitro has 500MH/s (and has already closed registrations).
And the smallers pools aren't finding ANY blocks at all because the 80% pool is hoarding them all!

"Difficulty Retargetting:   KGW Every block after 500"

Devs, please respond to this as difficulty is at 8 at block 34. Are there really that many people mining this. Doesn't look like it to me.. I will be pulling my miners soon

I pulled my only miner.  useless for me at this diff when all I have is a 280x.  Diff under 1 usually gets me a few blocks, this coin re-targeted very fast

I pulled my own miner, only left the rented rig. God I hope I can pay it back.
