PSP is due to start real soon. Just waiting on the KnC Miner delivery.
Hi.
How long before they deliver them?

It's supposed to be anytime now. But I don't think anyone really knows other than Joseph Stuhlman.

It'll be soon. Within the next few weeks I reckon.

My advice: accumulate (slowly!) now - it's not going to take much buying activity to push the price up. Just look at the order depth.

why do you say that? nobody on kncminer forum got their miner.

From KNC forum

Brace For Impact: Titan Ships
The Titan Scrypt miner is a major achievement. Compared to the high-end graphics cards it displaces it represents a step change in processing capability. A Radeon GPU chip, for instance, can typically achieve 1 MH/s in scrypt applications. One (1) Titan alone replaces several hundred such dedicated graphics cards. This with only a few chips and a fraction of the power consumption.

Titan's chip is complex and we've had to work day-and-night to get to grips with its idiosyncrasies. When launching the Titan for pre-order in March this year we promised to deliver a 100 MH/s scrypt miner before the end of Q3. After extensive testing we can conclude that we've beaten our initial promise of hashrate delivery - considerably.

We're now proud to commence shipments of the 300+ MH/s Titan Batch 1 Scrypt Miner to pre-order customers according to payment queue. Batch 2 miners will start shipping one month after Batch 1. Batch 2 units will have an increased hashrate of 400+ MH/s, due to better yield rate as bumps in the production of these 28nm chips smoothens over time. Power consumption for batch 1 is rated at 1160 watts ≈ 3.5 J/MHs.

Hashrate delivered in "Cubes"

The Titan uses our new modular design system, the chips are delivered in individual "cube" cases, each with its own dedicated cooling and power management. The controller cards are also delivered separately. One full Titan Miner consists of four (4) Titan Cubes. A mini-Titan has two (2) Titan Cubes.

The production of new 28nm designs is a fragile process and fab yield is not as good as we hoped for our first Titan production run. We'll produce, test, assemble and ship Titans continuously from the beginning of next week, but yield success will affect the speed of deliveries. We'll update with more specific numbers as shipping proceeds.

The Titan was designed for several variants of the scrypt algorithm, including Scrypt-N. Titan's firmware is in continuous development and we'll update this space with new versions enabling new features as they become available.

We still have a few of these Titan scrypt miners in batch 2 available in our web shop.

Best,
The KnC Team, September 11, 2014, Stockholm.

Well it's definately not the one from Stuhlman.
He did not even get a shipment notice yet and as far as I know and can read on the kncminer forum nobody did...

Guess we have to have patience for a few more weeks!

i really hope its true!

Never live on hope when u are trading ...

Here is the confirmed news im talking about

Got a message from Anna, apparently they have started production and beginning to ship this week. I had a rant with her regarding the firmware issue and this what she came back to me with.

Anna (kncminer)
Sep 23 15:52
Hello,
This issue has already been solved and we are started the production and shipping.
First customers in the queue will be receiving their miners this week.
In the description of product stated "Shipping begins in Q2/Q3" and this what we have achieved as promised. There is no breach of our policies, neither of what was described in product. Moreover, most customers purchased this produced with 150 Mh/s or 250 Mh/s and we are shipping it with guaranteed 300 Mh/s that is way more that was initially promised.
As well in Terms and conditions it states https://www.kncminer.com/pages/tandc
"...The delivery date is provided for information purposes only and shall not be binding on KnCMiner. The Purchaser is not entitled to refuse acceptance of the Products, withdraw, cancel or revoke the order or make claims for compensation due to any delayed delivery. "
Best regards |

Kurt :

Believe it or not, the delay in shipping was caused by bugs in the firmware.

However, as the comment above shows, the issue with the firmware has now been resolved. We will start shipping the Titan miners today.

Hey guys, there's a new exchange that's going to open soon. https://altmarket.com/

Let them know you want CAIx on there. I think it's going to be a good exchange, with lots of volume.

if u read posts from today people got their shipment who payed 5-7 days after announcement

there is a problem with miners where they restart if not mine on specific pools or you closed its browers application ... KNC working on fixing that with firmware 1.02

also

kurt say shipment will be slow then fast .. example... at first they will ship 3-5 Titans a day .. then 5-8 ... then 8 -12 ...

Hash rates have been very high on the Scrypt and X11 pools the last few days.

Almost as high as 700mh/s on X11 and over 400mh/s on Scrypt. But still, no buy pressure to show for it Wink

That would be great to make a donation from whole caix community once a week/month to pay for Titian electricity consumption.
That would be not too much per person if whole community would do that.
Acting that way Titian would use all buying power to stabilize price and not stuhl wouldn't need to take part of it to pay electricity bills.
I wouldl love if it could work like that.

PSP is different now. Joseph will reap the benefits of the Titan more than everyone else. Coins are not going to be destroyed now.

So this idea to pay for the electricity is invalid.

How would it work then?
Way of stibilizing price as it's documented in pdf sounds really solid.
Didn't know CAIX changed the way it is supposed to work.
Can anyone confirm it / provide info on a new stabilization technology?
Stuhl? Pieter?

I haven't found any of info you are talking about in whole thread.
Where did you get info Stuhl  will reap benifits of Titan bypassing PSP?
Where did you find out that coins are not going to be destroyed  now?
Are you developer/insider ? Could you quote something to make sure things you say are legit?
