🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread

Anyway here it is!  This event is def stacked!  At first glance my picks are Diaz, Gastelum, Thompson, Ivanov, Gillespie and Walker.  No idea about the rest tbh.

I am yet to place a bet as Jorge Masvidal is on a winning streak and both are durable fighters and i am confused on who to bet but the Gregor Gillespie fight depends upon how Kevin Lee rectified his issues and what changes he made to his arsenal and his stamina is a big concern. When it comes to  Johnny Walker whether his shoulder is completely healed after his post fight celebration is to be seen in this fight.

Still can't pick between Darren and Kevin.

I am picking Kelvin Gastelum to win the fight as Darren Till is moving up in weight division after having losses in 170 pound division and he is basically a striker and Kelvin Gastelum was never stopped in any fights and his fight against Israel Adesanya was a display of his chin to hold up even after getting blasted multiple times and he has the wrestling pedigree to defeat Till in his Middleweight debut.

I don't really post on this thread but I was surprised to see a sitting US president attend an event like this but I'd say when you look at Trump's time in the wwe it's really not surprising at all.With him billed to attend the game, I know for a fact that a lot of Democrats are going to attend just to boo at him just like they did last weekend.

Donald Trump is a fight fan for a very long time and he even owned Affliction MMA and majority of the early MMA fights were conducted in his tower when no one was giving space for the early UFC events to be even conducted Donald Trump welcomed them in his building and hence he has a history in the UFC and the sport of MMA being this big and now Trump being the president even he wants to see the BMF belt .

There is a high possibility that Darren Till could be in the category of failed debuts in the Middleweight division and then we will have Rockhold Weildman and Till in that category.

Anyway here it is!  This event is def stacked!  At first glance my picks are Diaz, Gastelum, Thompson, Ivanov, Gillespie and Walker.  

I want to see the weigh ins to make my prediction but Johnny Walker Corey Anderson is a great fight, i am expecting Corey Anderson to be taking down Johnny Walker and we might see the majority of the fight on the ground and Johnny Walker has not faced any elite level wrestlers till now and this will be the biggest test in his career and i highly doubt he can defend the take down of Corey Anderson.

This could be a good fight and I think both Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz can get a potential to really get the belt both can compete in a standout and both have good grounds and submission game as well but for me I am seeing that Nate can sure last in for a couple of rounds maybe three to four round and Masvidal will sure fade and were off his stamina in a long fight but Nate Diaz will keep it coming I can say that these two has an equal footing but in a long fight Nate Diaz has better cardio than Masvidal, this could test Jorge Masvidal if he can cut the fight short like what he did with Ben Askren but I see Nate Diaz is a better fighter than Askren and for this conclusion Nate Diaz can win this in a four to five-round tops.

And for Kelvin Gastelum Vs Darren Till I think Darren Till looks enormous at his weight and size and he also had a reach advantage against Gastelum, and with a standup boxing fight Till can prove that Gastelum had a crucial disadvantage with him, Darren Till may be the underdog in this fight but he is something of an unknown quantity on this fight, Well I guess Till will come home victorious over Gastelum.

Heavyweight:  Andrei Arlovski vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik - with all respect to Andrei, I think this is a good time for him to retire. He is fighting against almost a no-name with good striking skills. Knowing that Andrei has a crystal chin, if he looses this time, he should thing about finishing his career. He is almost 41, mostly lost in his last fights.

Theres no other thread for other MMA promotions like Bellator, KSW, PFL or One FC. I guess the interest on their events are not that big in this forum to begin or start a thread for those promotions. But, I think its a good idea if the OP will just edit the thread title and remove UFC and just say MMA events or anything something like that so that we dont need to switch to another thread.

Fedor was in his best shape ten years back  or much longer than that and if he defeated him during that period then it is difficult to have the same level of chin years later.

Andrei Arlovski should retire as he is knocked out several times in the past five years and he needs to stop taking this kind of damage and if he thinks he wants to still compete he need to go to other organization and try out rather than fighting in the UFC.

I thought about it but Bellator and the rest is just no comparison to the UFC.  And adding other promotional orgs would mess the thread up imo.
