For me, it's strange that Diego Lopes isn't on the Noche UFC card. Despite being a relatively new fighter, he was practically a guarantee on this celebratory card. My bet for this card is only on the main event, with Jean Silva winning, mainly because Delgado is a replacement and Jean has already faced several ranked fighters. Delgado, on the other hand, doesn't have as much experience against top-ranked opponents. What are your bets?

Because Lopez recently fought at White House. I think he had a choice to fight at UFC Freedom 250 and earn big money, or to fight at Fight Night, and decision was easy to make Maybe Lopez was ready, but it has passed only few months since last fight and he is not Kevin Holland who is able to fight 7 times per year

Anyway, bookies give +4 on Delgado. It is said that he is replacement, but he had 1 month to have a camp, however I dont think money should be risked here by betting on underdog.

I think the UFC offered him a title shot so he wouldn't have to fight. I'm sure he would have fought at a high level on that card, and now he's probably adapting to a different situation. There are still rumors of a fight between him and Oliveira, but neither of them has confirmed anything. But Jean Silva should be a good "replacement" for him on that big card!

Sorry for being stupid but I dont get it. Are you saying that UFC offered Lopez a title fight or there are rumors about that? Dunno dude, it is really hard to believe in that. He has lost 2 opportunities in featherweight against Volk, and Volk is fighting Evloev for a title in 6 weeks. Lopez moved to lightweight, but there is already a long line of those who wants to challenge Gaethje. As well as there are guys who deserve a title shot in lightweight more than Lopez.

What I think is that he must have moved up a weight class to seek something better. He must have a fight in the new weight class and I believe that if he wins, he'll be in that long line for the title. He has everything that many fighters don't have: a fan base, he knows how to fight standing and on the ground, and he has a certain charisma, but it's not much. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be considered for the belt immediately after moving up, but that's just my opinion.

Saw a clip today on X where Dana white said he won’t be renewing MVP’s contract with the UFC and i think that’s kinda messed up considering the fact that MVP is 5-1 in the UFC.

He didn’t say the reason why explicitly but i think it’s because of MVP’s underwhelming performances and his lack of proper finishes in his fights even though most of his opponents were unranked mid level fighters.

But it still surprises me that Dana white still keeps the likes of Chandler and Tuivasa around even with their multiple losses; atleast MVP still has 5 wins in the ufc even though his fights were boring.

How is that 'messed up'?  MVP is 39 years old.  He was lucky to get some fights in the UFC.  The only mistake I see here is the UFC didn't get him from Bellator years earlier.  Lol.  He would've been very entertaining to watch at 170.

And I don't think MVP's performances are underwhelming.  His style is fun to watch imho.  But yeah, he's old.  And the UFC are bringing younger people in.

Also saw news that UFC decided not to prolong MVP contract. I cant be so sure about his age being a problem, because there is always an option to gain weight and go to next division. Sure it would be better if UFC would sign him earlier or MVP would replace his kickboxing career with MMA. I believe that UFC parted with him for complaining about low payment and comparing UFC salaries with what Zuffa boxing (uncle Dana new baby ) pay.

He was welcomed by Jake Paul, and it looks like he will end his career in the MVP MMA promotion under the PFL banner. I really liked his fighting style, and maybe the level of opponents was too good for him to make a mark like he did in Bellator.

So he deserves another contract offer (with adequate pay) if the UFC attempts to be a sports organisation, not purely an entertainment one.
When they cross that line and start only looking at the show business factor, they will put themselves on a path of becoming another WWE, with fighters acting their characters and with artificially created dramas.

There needs to be a balance there. Dropping a successful fighter just because he's deemed boring is not a good look.

Would be nice to know what Paramount has said to UFC and what were their demands. I have noticed that some good strikers (not wrestlers, that is important) from Dagestani or region nearby where dropped from UFC and new “wrestlers” from that region are not signed. I think UFC try to keep and sign finishers and get rid from those who normally win by points and control. And we all remember how UFC cut all the fighters who are not happy with their payments, even if they are champs.

If UFC see Topuria as one of their top milking cows, then I would make Topuria vs Pimblett if I was in charge They have beef before, they both are popular. Only then the winner might be first to have a title fight or a fight that will grant a title fight for the winner. No matter how I like Oliveira, I wish to see more new blood on top of lightweight division. I think that if Oliveira get belt back, there will be a huge chance that he will lose it at first defense.

Are people still really interested in Topuria VS Pimblett? I think that they don't really hate each other and their brawl looks so fake and unemotional. The real spark was into the relationship of Connor and Khabib.
By the way, Topuria is someone I would invest into. He is an amazing fighter, he has the style that people love, he wins in fashion, he is basically a fighter that has everything that people adore, just only if he could become more charismatic and more good at talking like Conor McGregor, he would be the superstar of all time.

I'm betting on Jean Silva to win because he's faced more top 10 fighters than Delgado, and for me, that's enough.

Moreno vs. Morales is more evenly matched, but I believe Moreno will win, mainly because Morales has a low takedown defense, just over 20%. Moreno has more tools to win than Morales, in my opinion.

Finally, McMillen vs. Rahiki should be a very quick fight because 9 of McMillen's 11 wins were in the first round, and Rahiki is also very aggressive. So, there should be a lot of striking early in the fight, so I'm going with Under 2.5 rounds.

I have seen your picks. Brandon Moreno is coming into this fight after a two-fight losing streak, while Joseph Morales, who was cut earlier from the UFC, is returning and is on a winning streak. So, it is a really interesting matchup, and I would pick Joseph Morales.

When it comes to Curtis Blaydes, I would pick him simply because of his wrestling pedigree, and Waldo Cortes-Acosta does not even have a wrestling background, as he is a baseball player turned MMA fighter.

The rest of the picks are good and I will be following them during the event to place a bet on the live event.

^  Yeah I still got Moreno even with the two back to back losses.  His opponent is taking a step up...  Not saying that he'll def lose but it feels like Moreno is gonna give him a hard time.

And I think Moreno is gonna retire after this fight so he'll prolly give it a little extra this time around to win.

Wasted betting money (and even more  ) in amusement park in Hamburg this weekend. Missed whole event. Had about 8h sleep in total since Friday. In a restaurant met a dude who was 90+ old who was drinking beer and had to explain him what mma is according to him mma was “mix” fights without rules. Tried to get him into crypto, he told that his pension is enough.

UFC Noche was great, solid card overall even though my ticket got cut lol.

3 spoilers out of 13 is still a pretty respectable outcome; those long shot parlays tend to be brutal when even one or two go the wrong way.

Funny how the 3 spoilers all ended in decisions instead of clear finishes (Rafa Garcia lost Via decision, same with Edgar Chairez and Marwan Rahiki)

I have missed whole event, but can someone explain how can fight result be like this? One judge saw Morales winning all the rounds, other two saw Moreno winning all the rounds? Were they watching two different fights ? I would not bother if all three judges have given different scores for rounds, like 28-29 vs 29-28 and 29-28. But one judge saw Moreno dominance, other saw Morales dominance Wtf ?

I'm looking at the Heavyweight division right now, and I don't see anybody out there that Aspinall can't defeat WHEN HE'S HEALTHY. That's how open the division is for him to be a champ again, and I believe that he can do it again once he comes back. Pereira had been a champ and he's older than him so... I think if he can, so does Aspinall.

I'm just disappointed that Gane got that title because he poked him. Let's say that it's an accident, but many will still think that he got it because his opponent got injured because of him. I think many will label him as the "Fake Champ" as long as he holds that title. I looked at the division, and I don't see anybody who can defeat Gane aside from Aspinall. My opinion only. Do I consider him a champ after what happened? Well, on paper, but many will disrespect him for what happened in the past. Aspinall said that the complications in his right eye is because of what he got on that fight... and we know it.

Unfortunately, that's just how life is. Let's just see who will try and steal that belt from him... or nobody might wanna try to do it.

These are the fights I am really hyped to see.

First of all it is a main event fight, a long awaited real fight between Van and Panjota. Accidental champ (who has 1 title defense btw against Taira. full fight reply worth watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJPZ53NvBNM) vs real champ.

Secondly it is Tsarukyan. Who is finally is having a fight. Tbh, I wish Ruffy to win and put that arrogant Arman down. Cant wait for someone to kick down fake crown from Armans head. I think I will make a risky single bet on Ruffy.

Thirdly Moicano vs Ortega. They have met before long time ago. Ortega won, but now Moicano has chances to avenge that loss, but he will be fighting only shadow of Ortega now, as Ortega is one tiny step from finishing career (which is on huge decline) or be kicked out from UFC.

My bets: Panjota, Ruffy, Moicano.
