Everyone If it goes to $6k or below but in the long-term, it will go up. has his own point of view about BTC but I think BTC is really good for investment. As we know blockchain is a newly developed industry and capital is also increasing. If you compare BTC capital from 2016 to 2019 you can see a huge difference as long as capital keeps increasing we will have more chances that it will go up. It already makes a high last year around $20k which will be it's the first target, for now, just keep it buying on dips. So, the bottom line is investing in BTC is the wise and right choice because the world is moving forward to the new era of digital currency.
You are very optimistic on bitcoin and that is the kind of attitude that is needed to keep the bulls from roaring its head though we could not also close our eyes with the things going in the real market. Yes, every dip is a big opportunity to buy more and hodl. Hopefully, we can see bitcoin soon hitting the $10,000 zone and beyond.

Why not? Price is still worth to invest. it looks like this year will be much more better than 2018.
Actually the year 2018 is the best time to advice a newbie to enter the crypto scene because last year all the price of cryptos are all down but this year their value are now recovering however you cant still insist to invite them because some cryptos are still not really expensive and there is still a chance that they can go down more .

IMO, the investment must be done when the prices have stabilized. If you make your investment when the prices are going down, then in the short-term you may incur significant losses. So I would say that right now it is the best time to make a fresh investment in cryptocurrencies (either medium-term or long-term). The block reward halving is less than a year away and we can expect a boost from that event in 2020. Also, investing a part of the capital in altcoins such as ETH and BCH can be a good option. These coins are trading much below their ATH, and at current levels they are looking very attractive. Cardano, Monero and XLM are some of the coins that can be purchased now, but they are very volatile when compared to ETH and BCH.

In August 2018, when Bitcoin was $5000, I told a big investor "bitcoin will come down to $3000 and then you buy it". Bitcoin came down to $3000 but the big investor disappeared.

No financial or convenience expert or investor can confirm whether to buy bitcoin because its price depends on the volatility of the world. The decision to buy bitcoin at the moment is entirely dependent on investors' decision-making power.

Can you name this big investor? is he/she well known in any industry or that person is low key but you know that he/she is such a big investor. I don't advise people anymore who has a total of zero knowledge, as in even the most basic things about bitcoin. Tendency of being blamed when the market falls is high.

When I advise newbies about bitcoin, I will not tell you the portion of the profits that indeed it has become a boom that the price continues to rise, newbies need to also know the risks that they face when choosing to invest in bitcoin, and give them an understanding ready to lose all the capital they have so that they have a good trading psychology when taking a market position.

It depends on that person, i introduce arbitrage trading to one of my friends on ETH when its over 1k range, thus he suffered some losses on unexpected downturn. Its purely speculative and the best i can do i do give some advice about the nature of market and how to react over it. Bitcoin is somehow a investment option concept for them and there nothing wrong with that. Newbie that have 0 knowledge about bitcoin yet still have some basics over trading skill can still make a buck. IMO everyone should have a clear idea of what blockchain/crypto can deliver to the world before making any financial decisions.

With this backdrop in mind, will you advise a newbie to bitcoin to enter at this stage so he can be able to ride the coming "boom" or will you tell him to wait some more until the market is dipping?
Of course, newbies need to be attracted to cryptocurrency, because the more people in the market, the higher will be capitalization and volatility. Accordingly, it is beneficial for a trader to attract new traders to the trade.

Oh, yes, in comparison with 2018, we are celebrating the greatest triumph. No, this is not a bull run yet, but a good growth. The beginners can enter the market, as it shows the signs of future gaining.

I'm also new to cryptocurrencies, but if I should answer this question, I think I will say that everyone needs to do his/her own research before investing any amount of their money to crypto. At least that's what I did.

In as much as crypto is not dead, there is still hope that one day crypto will boom again just as it was few years ago. My advice to newbie will still be the same as it was during the hard period. Do not put all your eggs in one basket and never think crypto will make you rich within a short period of time. Do your own research and take time to plan for what you intend to achieve. He who has no rule about trading crypto will never be successful even when crypto is booming. When I was new into trading crypto, I was so lucky to always follow a lot of old members here on the platform. Bitcointalk is the only resources that provide me all information I gathered. Goodluck

I would advise newbies to become a non noob if they want to get into bitcoin.
1. read the white paper 2. inform yourself about security risk 3. try to earn some bitcoin
Do you have to read whitepaper to get involved in bitcoin at this stage? I never read bitcoin's whitepaper in up to 4 years and dont think its necessary at this stage in the project and as a new investors. This forum could help with the fundamentals, if newbies are ready to spend time reading.

I suggest that for beginners you should not jump right into playing bitcoin. As a beginner you should enrich yourself first with the knowledge of crypto currencies. Before playing with bitcoin on the market then we should know the history of bitcoin first, how the movement of bitcoin, and how the volume that occurs in the market. Besides that, we must know what opportunities can be obtained through bitcoin and what challenges must be faced by bitcoin in the future. After knowing about bitcoin in full then we can start buying bitcoin and playing bitcoin on the market.

It seems to me that if such a question were asked in 2017, then it would be possible to warn beginners from investing in cryptocurrency, when prices were at their peak. But today there are very good chances for investors, so even a beginner can not only learn, but also try to invest their money in Bitcoin.

I haven't read the white paper for bitcoin either. We probably should have. I still think it is a great idea for new comers to begin. They don't have to read the entire whitepaper but just get a feel for it.
