A link to Twitter is not a link to the source.
Loooooooooool. That's too creepy, for honest. I've seen it on Twitter so i used link to Twitter. Everybody can see that it's not my quote and where i took it from Strange, you're not the one Xal0lex is talking about. Or you just forgot to used your other alt to reply?

Loooooooooool. That's too creepy, for honest. I've seen it on Twitter so i used link to Twitter. Everybody can see that it's not my quote and where i took it from I was referring to a specific link in this comment. This is a link to the profile, not the tweet where the text was taken. It's like giving a link not to your comment, but to your profile. Loooooooooool. That's too creepy, for honest. I've seen it on Twitter so i used link to Twitter. It sees pretty clear to me in principle: <…> 25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed. <…>
The concept is clear Got it Strange, you're not the one Xal0lex is talking about. Or you just forgot to used your other alt to reply?
Unlikely but still possible Not trying to defend anyone here, but it is not about that link specifically as it is grammatically and semantically about any link in general ("A link to Twitter is not a link to the source"), so it is correct to speak of "my link" or "my quote" without making an implicit reference to the banned poster (what you seem to point out), with a bit of sarcasm in mind. Native speakers may want to weigh in here, though

I'm quite certain it's just an example / rhetorical figure.

Technically, this is not a rock-solid proof
Apart from having an alternate account (which is not a violation of forum rules anyway), this dude might have been framed (even if it was). How do you really know that MrDongyy is actually MrFreeRoMan other than by seeing someone linking to his Facebook and Twitter accounts? Disclaimer, I'm in no way affiliated or otherwise associated with either of these forum members. Just come to think that people should be more responsible and stop witch-hunting (finding instances of plagiarism is not witch-hunting, just in case)
This user not only used the same social networks, but even the same ETH address: I don't get any token in my account! Or, if I have an unverified account, don't get them? #Proof of Authentication
1.) Bitcointalk username: MrDongyy 2.) Telegram username: @MrDongyy 3.) ETH wallet address : 0x06Dc0CBF44EED256C5975210095be703504a4541 4.) Join Twitter/Facebook Campaign

Yep It's like giving a link not to your comment, but to your profile.
Day after day we are closer and closer to rename @Bitcointalk@ to @Gulagtalk@.

How many got banned til now since the start of this thread? Maybe LoyceV can update the OP with some current stats? Just checked the Alt section patrol and I was surprised to see just a few posts.. It's been difficult to follow all those stat threads, they are so many now

How many got banned til now since the start of this thread? I started saving daily copies of modlog on January 3 this year. Modlog shows data from the week before, so this graph shows the daily running total for the previous week:

Looks like the correlation between nukes and autoban gets to an ATH!
Would this mean the backlog of high ranked plagiarizing users has been purged?

This user not only used the same social networks, but even the same ETH address Okay, let's assume it is the same person And so what, given the alt account was active 3 months ago (i.e. likely before the ban), so it is not being used for ban evasion? Is having a second account now an aggravating circumstance, I don't get it (unless account farming is involved, of course)? Or should it get banned too? The forum rules are clear that alt accounts shouldn't be used for ban evasion, but they say nothing about banning all known alt accounts of a user along with the offending account. I think banning the offending account will suffice unless other accounts are used for ban evasion (which is not the case with respect to MrDongyy). So why the witch hunt?

The point of a ban is that the banned user stops posting for the duration of the ban. If they're allowed to post under an alt account, how is that different from allowing them to post under a newly created account? Either way they're ban evading.

Either way they're ban evading That's not exactly my point (if you are explaining to me) Regardless, I think there might be a use case (emphasis on might be) where banning (or locking) a specific account (as opposed to banning a user) is justified while posting under a known alt account would not be considered ban evasion. For example, if it becomes known that an account has been taken over by a hacker, it is appropriate to ban this account only, right? I guess there might be other such cases (again, emphasis on might be)

In such a case only the hacker's account should be banned and the rightful owner could prove ownership to regain it (or use an alt, whatever).

I checked my account and did not find spam and plagiarism! Be so kind as to explain the reason for blocking
I synchronized my wallet, now it will work 24/7 . Sent PM .
I don't know if that's the one that triggers your ban because most of your post are in Russian and just for bounties so might be on those Russian post as well I guess. By replying here you violated another rule "ban evasion", you should have created a thread about your ban here in Meta.
