Not so soon, at least not until ETH2.0.

Unfortunately, ETH has been promising this new and improved proof-of-stake version for years now and nothing has still materialized. Miners are placing so much selling pressure on ETH to maintain operations that until we switch to a POS model which only requires validation nodes, there won't be much progress with ETH.

But i believe in Vitalik and ETH, it will just take more time.

yes, I think ETH does take longer to make pumps. the movements that occur until now are not too many and even tend to decrease. I also believe, if ETH will not die and can last longer. a pump will occur, this is only a matter of time. wait for the time, wait for the moment to occur. and a boom of patience yields the best results.

I'm pretty sure we will survive holding until the end of this year, and we will face a new chapter again next year.
The market as of now is not really that bad compared to last year, there's a little improvement especially for bitcoin but of course we have to stay optimistic that there is still more improvement coming up in the last quarter of the year.

Though ETH has struggled it doesn't mean it has no chance at all, look at its volume, it still shows that majority are trading this coin in the altcoins market.

Yeah all are convinced that the price of Crypto will be to the moon, but not for this year, I think now is preparation to welcome the next price increase, especially for ETH where they will reach the latest ATH after Halving Bitcoin later, I'm sure that will happen. Since market started booming from 2016 to 2017 ethereum market was somewhere over thousand US dollars and even more but if few see the market place value of ethereum and volume of it.
I believe coming year halving the next big hope for this cryptocurrency space.
If the value goes to peak again we may believe the price growth.

We don't need to mention technology or good news anymore. because sharks have been adjusting the price of the market. The value of ETH is now pretty much lower than ATH but I still believe that some day the sharks will pump the prices of these altcoins.

For now, we can just only wait what 2020 brings as optimistically I believe the prices would show some increment in the future. ETH presently is still struggling to get over 200$ but I think it will soon show some uptrend by the mid of next year since it one of the most reliable coin in the market. Vitalik Buterin has already spoken out several times about the problem of scalability, answering the questions that many analysts asked him.  Buterin said that no scalability problem exists at all in the global sense, But if ETH has such a need, the team will be able to solve this problem at the expense of a certain percentage of security.  But in general, the whole structure of Ethereum 2.0 will not suffer from this.

Why are we all in this market if we truly believe that it is just the sharks who are manipulating prices? So basically, we are switching away from banks and governments, and instead allowing our fates to be determined by anonymous corporate sharks? Is this what crypto has really come to now? Without support from rest of the community, even the moves of sharks are worthless. I have noticed that sharks tried many times in last 6-8 months to pump the price but didn't get the support from rest of the community and such pumps were again corrected to lower prices. To see the wave of green market once again, we have to re-establish trading confidence for the whole community.
