Yes, we've made a choice to hold off on a lot of normal promotion type things in general, the rewards program will fulfill a lot of that automatically for our players. And once our major platform is released with the new updates, new games, we'll start rolling out more specific-based types of promotions from there that may relate to the sportsbook or other novel games.

I have been experimenting the site with the faucet satoshis for a couple of days. Games were enjoying thanks to smooth graphics and sounds. But i have to say that mobile experience was terrible except the Dice.

Simplicity of Dice was really addicting, i think impatient players should avoid betting higher proportions of their balances since i was tempted to put high bets with high chances of winning which eventually bored me and led me to take stupid risks.

Bit.Rocket game was a real fun for me but i had to wait for the rounds which could be annoying for some users.

I could not understand the dynamics of slots may be beacuse i am a newbie on slot games or may be it was confusing to know which combination resulted in which prize.

And many gambling sites have features like recognizing users only with designated browser links, which eliminates the login procedures. This feature and lowering withdrawal limits would make mintdice more convenient for me.

they really have friendly approach to users. and they make sure to address each issue of their player. seems that they are keeping their mantra of "leave no stone unturned". but i guess, it is time also for them to add other alts like doge or xrp as a start.
with bitcoin fees getting higher, some gamblers will be hesitant to play using btc and look for other sites that accept other alts.
but i understand what you mean about feels like playing poker with friends at home. i believe thats one of their charm here.

Yeah I agree, more coins will be a great addition, that is the thing about suggesting something to mintdice right now, we can't really prioritize anything over update so there is nothing we can say that could happen at anytime soon (unless they were working on it as a part of the update) which is why I am just waiting and I will give my feedback after the update.

They probably realized the fee situation long time ago as well, I don't know what their situation is like user numbers and if they are getting more profits and users or not, those are data that only owner can know but I feel like they are 100% aware that if they could finish the product finally, they could do a huge promotion and have like 10x more gambling right away, so I am sure they are doing their best as well.

The fee situation is a really big concern for me personally and I think alt coins are the best/easiest solution for the short term. Unfortunately, as has been the problem for quite some time, all of our development talent has been doing nothing but getting 2.0 ready for over a year consecutively now which has put many much needed quality of life upgrades, like altcoins, on hold.

Major altcoin acceptance will be one of the higher priority tasks once 2.0, the rewards program and sportsbook are all live.

However for us who have been waiting for a year, could you at least snap some pictures of the new version (like 100 of them lol) and share here? Even if we do not have v2 yet, we could at least have some pics . I have seen few from few months ago but anything new would be awesome.

Hello, new member/user here ... On first usage, it is absolutely commendable that two forms of accounts are available: Anonymous and Full account; and an embedded BTC faucet to earn Sats to kick-start your mintdice journey.

Though I'm not much of a gambling/casino person, I gotta say I do enjoy playing the Dice game as I think it is fair. (well, it takes strategy and a large dose of luck though, but I think it's awesome either way).

Something I noticed (a bug, maybe) is that for people playing on phones, if one's phone is kept in portrait mode, on going back to the MintDice homepage to try out other games, it keeps returning/loading the dice game only. If I rotate my phone screen to landscape and set my mobile browser to desktop view, other games show up & run.

Anyway, a good site no less; and lest I forget, the UI is awesome! I've copied and saved my MintDice Secret URL, might be here for a long while.

Honestly, as for what takes an entire year, I have the same question, I'm more of a spokesperson than anything else, so I only have so many answers.

The entire everything is getting redone. The coding language, the design, the everything. And adding in new modules both with 2.0 and post 2.0. So it's a lot of work. The point of the architecture was I'd say threefold:
-Mobile gaming compatibility
-Scalability with new game development (so deployment is more rapid since we're developing custom casino and skill games)
-Better website cohesion so it's easier to navigate around MintDice.

There's a bunch of loose screenshots that exist of the 2.0 platform but as far as full concentrated images, it's hard to share them since a lot of what is being done is to an extent all or nothing. So a platform that is 90% built really can't do much justice for what exists on hand. That said, there were some images we posted earlier and I can try to see if anything exists that I can update this thread with soon enough.

MintDice is still open for investment. This is likely going to be a feature as long as MintDice is around. Worst case at some point we may have to modify it, but we have no intention to do that at any point presently.

As far as competitions and promotional activity, we have some ideas in mind that were going to be deployed on the 2.0 release and with each future game's release... but then 2.0 has never quite made it to the main net and so there hasn't been much activity on that front since it's always "one month away". Regardless, activity has been very consistently growing on MintDice every single month over month (although slowly), so we're optimistic on that front

I've tried the dice game and it's cool but I couldn't really access other games when I was in portrair mode till I switched to desktop mode on my mobile phone browser and turned it landscape...kinda stressing

I think the mobile version is not fully being optimized yet and they are still working on it along with the progress to the v.2. Indeed it takes longer time than it was expected imo, but I believe everything will be better once v.2 is officially released.

Hopefully 2.0 doesn't lose that feeling but I just think it is not even about the website itself, it is about you and the management just being so open and talkative with us.
