Agreed, I haven't thought about it. Now only realized what you've mentioned. The mobile phone I've been using is a low configuration as well as the range won't be good all the time which seems to be the reason for experiencing such an issue while using it on mobile. Let me try with some of my friends mobile and confirm whether things were happening good with other mobile phones of high configuration.
I can give you short review here that i was play use smartphone currently and my smartphone isn't high spec gadget even near to low spec but i don't have any problem playing the game even with automatic betting every rolls still went to smoothly but indeed i have been waiting new update about other games which can be played through an smartphone because currently only dice game can be played but plinko and slots still not available for smartphone users

It's both coming and a bit of a ways away. The majority of our development talent has gone towards getting smart phone compatibility online, so I can mostly just say that we are working on it and it will look quite good when it is released Smiley

Separately, we had two runners registered for MintDice in the WCC Bitcoin Poker event held today in a field of around 80 players and managed to cash for both 5th and 6th place! At the final table in one picture you can see us there with Brock Pierce among other people in the background. Was a really amazing event put on by the WCC.

With that said, MintDice will be hosting a booth at the Cosmo the 30th and 31st (tomorrow and the day after) in Vegas as well as being part of a speaking panel on the 31st. If anyone is in the area please come say hello, it would be a pleasure to meet you.

I'm quite impressed with this move. It would be a very nice marketing/promotional tool for Mintdice in the WCC but too bad I'm too far away from the location of the event so I just can say good luck to those players who are registered for Mintdice. Frankly speaking, it makes me wonder "will be there a pvp poker game at Mintdice in the future?" as this event looks like a sign that Mintdice is also attracted to have a Poker game.

The 0 confirmation is basically a marketing tactic so if a gambler loses all their BTC and they are on the tilt to revenge gamble then chances are they will if the deposit is confirmed fast, if it takes a few hours to confirm they might get bored and stop gambling and stop losing money. If it comes right away they will gamble it instantly and might lose it also.
Yeah it works, there are tons of people who does exactly this, there are also tools that make it easier as well, I have sold something to a double spender before (they legit paid me because I would have cancelled their subscription if they didn't) but I have watched him literally pay for food with double spending and get the money back, he didn't had to because dude was rich as hell but he just wanted to show off I guess.

So, the double spending happens in bitcoin to this day, exactly the method you talked about and they make a ton of money from unsuspecting casinos, casinos think there is a ton of people who lost their bets but they realize there isn't that many btc in their accounts and when they figured it out most of the time it is already too late.

It was due to their animation effect I guess, even I did mention the same thing earlier but still they are developing their site and we may get much more better experience in near future. For full bet history we can click the bet history on lower left corner for that we no need to stop but your rollers will be rolling behind that history table. You guys are getting really really big, I mean how many casinos can actually stake some players entry and then get them to high spots as well, most of the casinos I am 100% sure didn't even know there was a WCC Bitcoin poker event, and you guys not only took advantage of this but also got involved with it as well.

In the end, mintdice is showing everyone how they are going to one up their competition in every turn, they are doing basically everything properly and never fail, they are constantly here, they are in communication, they are marketing, they are getting involved, they are ever improving. I am not saying they are the most gambled place right now, I know they are not right now but they are definitely on the path to be the biggest casino in crypto.

Frankly speaking, it makes me wonder "will be there a pvp poker game at Mintdice in the future?" as this event looks like a sign that Mintdice is also attracted to have a Poker game.

So MintDice is looking to launch a sportsbook Q1-Q2 of 2020, and the provider we are most seriously looking at right now offers a suite of gaming instruments. Most are non-provably fair games that we are not interested in since we are only going to use custom built games for our provably fair systems.

However, Poker is nearly impossible to build and therefore make Provably Fair. We could adopt the platform that our sportsbook provider has for virtually free. The question is more whether or not that is a good idea, which is high debatable, but certainly possible.

Our largest focus for skill gaming will be on the new innovative games that we are bringing to the market. They will all be Provably Fair and use other sources of fairness/randomness when possible since we are constructing them entirely in house.

With Poker, I'd say the biggest consideration with us will be player base. The more people we have playing on MintDice, potentially the more likely we would be to add in the poker client as well at some point after the sportsbook is released with that licensor. But realistically, we'll just have to wait and see, and either way, poker won't be coming for some time if it ever does so don't hold your breath Smiley

Thanks a lot Smiley
We're trying our best. We realize that we still have a lot of work to finish up the major first steps to our gaming platform and build community trust but we are doing what we can in the mean time. I'm really hoping to have three of our new major products released before the end of this year.

@theskillzdatklls
I was going to say that your current player base should be the main factor regarding implementing a poker game or not, but you said that first!

What sounds strange to me is that poker is hard or nearly impossible to make probably fair? Why is that?
I understand it'd take time for a player to verify a game if they have to check every card opened in a single game, but shouldn't it be possible to do?

Is there an issue regarding when the validating key is provided? Like, if you let everyone know this key too early in the game, someone would be able to decipher it and learn what other cards are in play? Is this the problem with poker being provably fair?

I was a professional poker player for around 6 years, if there is anything that I understand well, it will be anything related to poker Smiley

In theory, nothing about making poker provably fair is remotely impossible.

The difficult part would be creating software. If you license poker software, which is what everyone does, then you typically have to use all of their closed sourced systems for all of it's operations, including it's RNG, which are not provably fair. It's why I've stated in the past here and elsewhere that everyone should avoid the sites that used licensed games, in general. Though playing Bitcoin poker sites are fine because that's all that exists. But when there are multiple options, like for slot machines, use the provably fair sites and ignore all of those licensed sites, like Bitstarz (which has been scamming people lately on BitcoinTalk as well anyway).

Making our games was already fairly difficult since we have very high quality provably fair slots / plinko / crash, some of if not the best in the market depending on the game. Making a poker client, however, would be on a whole other level of difficulty to do correctly. If you understand the issue and know of any solutions, I'd be delighted to hear them to integrate things correctly for the community if we were to proceed forward later on.

The reality is poker hand dealing will not be able to implement with seeds. In the end there needs to be a deck and there needs to be a shuffle and there needs to be a deal, all of which combined can't be provably fair when it comes to seed and proof which is why poker is not provably fair.

Now, don't get me wrong, dice was not provably fair until it was so there could be some method one day, some developer would find a way to do it and he would implement and they would fix it and make it provably fair but until someone finds that unknown method for now there is no provably fair poker in the whole world.

It is still fine because as long as it is a legit website and the odds are at the relm of reality there is no problem at all, so I can definitely play poker without worrying about it.

How about the kind of "poker" that is similar to slots? I don't know what it called though...

The game was like pull the lever, and you receive five random cards. If the player gets a pair, triple, four a kind, flush, etc., he will get x payouts, just like slot games.

Maybe this way you could attract both slots and poker enthusiast.

It was indeed a slot game in my opinion only the picture was replaced like a poker card. I don't think this is a poker game even though it uses cards, how to play it like a slot so it is a slot game. Poker only has one type how to play the same and does not have another type as you stated.

With Poker, I'd say the biggest consideration with us will be player base. The more people we have playing on MintDice, potentially the more likely we would be to add in the poker client as well at some point after the sportsbook is released with that licensor. Nice to see to see the community base building around mintdice and glad to see your able to be more actively engaged, looks like you've continued to do well bringing people on board. Still looking forward to seeing your new games  when they release, should be fun learning the ins and outs.
Poker would be sweet, but it's understandable why it's not priority; I'll be game if/when it launches for sure. Something nice about knowing the face behind the site, and their opinion on being as provably fair as possible.

Congrats on the final table to both of you, looks like you had fun.

This is called Video Poker. This is a fundamentally completely different game than what we have been talking about, but yes, this game could in theory be put onto a website and be made provably fair with relatively little difficulty. However, we have no intention to add this game to our website at any point on our roadmap, yet.

Hey SteamTyme, nice to see you drop by.

My real life friend/neighbor and girl who was the one who knocked me out of the tournament in 5th place made a vlog detailing the event:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osr4vGwJZc8

Pretty solid video actually, worth a watch. Many crypto celebs are seen throughout the event.

We realize that we still have a lot of work to finish up the major first steps to our gaming platform and build community trust but we are doing what we can in the mean time. I'm really hoping to have three of our new major products released before the end of this year.

Interesting insight into the real gambling. Its nice to see the perspective from a different angle and, I guess as we always excepted a lot of heavy gamblers ... Thanks for sharing Smiley

Creating a poker game (or sportsbook as well, kinda the similar mindset) is difficult because if you make your own one with a developer in your employee then you are trusting that person, maybe they have a backdoor, maybe they didn't do it well, you can get it edited by someone else or at least audit it but in the end if they end up with a backdoor that is not found they could scam you and your customers.

You can buy an open source one, but its the same issue, you are never 100% sure you can trust them. The only option owner can have is building one themselves, coding it themselves but then the gamblers don't know if its trustworthy. So in the end whatever you do you do not have a 100% provably fair poker in your hands, hence why its so difficult to find a decent poker game in crypto.

This is called Video Poker. This is a fundamentally completely different game than what we have been talking about, but yes, this game could in theory be put onto a website and be made provably fair with relatively little difficulty. However, we have no intention to add this game to our website at any point on our roadmap, yet.
Video poker shouldn't be really too far away from the roadmap if you like poker so much, I mean I kinda understand the purity of poker players wanting to keep poker clean and not make some video machine help people play "poker" because they feel like it is not even poker at that point etc etc.

However in the end, adding more games equals more gambling and as a place that runs on wagered amounts being high (the more people play, the more they lose) you should be considering to add ALL games you can, doesn't matter what it is, video poker, slots, baccarat, plinko, sportsbooks, real poker, horse racing, lets see who pisses the furthest if you have to, the more games the better.

Yeah, it would take a lot of development time so you need to prioritize but I would suggest easier games should be first.

This one made me laugh a bit, kind of like saying you like Bitcoin so why not just use Paypal. The only real similarity is in the "hands" apart from that it's just a 2 step slot machine really. I'm not a big gambler so these games don't interest me that much, I am looking forward to their developed skills games though. I imagine that will be a big draw, as you have the classics people seem to really like - Dice, Plinko but bringing something innovative in is what will really help generate fresh traffic, that won't be easily drawn to other sites. Whereas if you offer the same type of games as everyone else, what's really keeping people loyal for lack of a better word.

How does it function? Is this a kind of online slots or something? The reviews in the web look rather positive, I would like to test it out!

How does what function, the website? We have provably fair online slots among other games. You can test anything out for free with the free Bitcoin faucet or play money faucet. If you have any specific questions please let us know here.

The question isn't so much whether or not we would like Video Poker on our website in theory. Of course if I could snap my fingers and just have it on our website I'd do that. But we only build high quality provably fair games which is a resource intensive process. And the fact is we have many other things prioritized for development.

Websites using licensed games don't have this problem because they can install any licensed games they want to at their whim. But then their games aren't provably fair, but this isn't something we are willing to allow for our website.

If the user base on MintDice grows substantially in the near future and we begin to monetize better, we can then of course afford to hire more talent to get more games developed onto our website which would lead to Video Poker coming on our website at some point down the stretch. But still, as is, no immediate plans on our roadmap.
