Portugal sell a crypto stamp since yesterday. But there is no technical data available as of today.

Well, not that easy but some fresh info.
U can buy the NFT at stampsdaq.com
For the physical stamp, directly frm the website   ctt.pt/femce/sku.jspx?shopCode=LOJV&itemCode=20230210199&request_locale=en
There is 1 (one) unique NFT, 99 ultra rare, 4900 rare, 35 000 common

 I checked this site out.  So the stamps are only NFTs and there are no physical counterparts or did I miss that somehow?

  I would be in for the physicals along with the NFTs but not just the NFT's.

Just received the stamp in my mail today. I will try to post some pictures (heard u have to be a copper member to post and pay a fee. WTF?) or at least some links in a couple of day.
1st feeling : the stamp is 100% paper, protected by 3 seals!. Then i had to scratch the hidden key todiscover the NFT rarity so stamp is not in  mint state anymore.
Good new : it can be used as a regular stamp. Regular but expensive
Not my prefered one for sure

A pitty you need to scratch the hidden code to get access to the NFT.
The stamp is altered then. So bad

    That is very true....that ruins a stamp in my opinion.

    Why not just leave the NFT on the stamp instead of transferring onto a metamask wallet? You think the NFT could be stolen by someone from the post office?  Also did you give it the light test?

   SHine a bright flashlight on the back of the stamp and see if you can see the code under the scratch off. I know some austria crypto stamps were clearly visible once this test was conducted. I will do the same once my stamps arrive....just received the tracking code via emai....I gotta say they they are pretty fast in shipping

It is quite difficult to resist the envy to discover the rarity of your stamp. You can also decide to left it un scratched but you do not know if your NFT is a rare one.

Anyway, i do think lichtenstein animal serie (cat/meerkat) are really a better opportunity than those one. Appart the scarcity (3k ex vs 40k ex), you can easily scan the QR code and check the NFT rarity. No such things as priv key or code to scratch.
Ice on the cake : NFT can not be tranfered, it is part of the stamp.

  Gotcha...thats why it is important to buy directly from the post office. I am hoping those will not be swept at all as I simply do not want to scratch off anything off the stamp...but I understand what you say whenbuying from secondary markets.

There was a lot of stamps issued but I don’t really care about the value, I wanted to get them graded simply to have a nice protective case for them and something I can put on display. It may be the most affordable Banksy item, but it’s still a Banksy!

The United Crypto States I’m unsure of. PowerCoin I’m also not a fan of. There’s more questions than answers when it comes to them and their funded coins. I certainly appreciate you sharing that with me though.

And yes, the link disapeared as it has disapeared when the meerkat was sold out.
Anyway, it will pop up soon  with the 'sold out' banner.

   I opened one packet and in it is an instruction booklet and the stamp.

   Have not had time to read it yet so wanted to ask, does this come with an NFT like the Austria one does? Or do I need to

It comes with the NFT. There is instruction on how to activate it. The NFT is not attached to physical stamp like how it is for Austria or Croatia.

It comes with the NFT. There is instruction on how to activate it. The NFT is not attached to physical stamp like how it is for Austria or Croatia.

   That is good to know as I was going to leave them still sealed in their respective package...I will now break the seal and do a little reading to activate and the NFT!  Thanks again and once I do will leave a post here with instructions for others on what I had to do...cheers

    I was able to to transfer the NFT's from these portugal stamps as follows...

    Went to https://stampsdaq.com/  and then connected my Metamask wallet to it with the setting on a poly addy.

     Opened the package....took the stamp out and exposed the code under the scratchoff.

    Entered the code and voila....the stamp NFT was transferred onto my metamask.

    I would have liked to keep at least one stamps in pristine condition, but...who knowa if that website or my NFT would still be available or not.

    SO that being said...better to have in the safety of my own wallet than theirs

I just checked my wallet to see if the NFTs were there and all five are there except the one below does not have a picture....did anyone have this error? Curious to see what the hell this is about. I will reach out to them and see what they say...

Problem solved.....you will need to refresh the metadata as per pic below...

   

   

   Once that's done and if the image does not show....refresh the entire browser page and it will come up.

   Glad I was not sent a blank

You can   buy directly the 100% NFT portuguese stamp (10 k available) with ur web3 wallet (eg metamask)
Package cost like 25Matic and you received 5 NFT in your web3 wallet in 3 sec

I will kept my physical stamps untouched (and unsealed too)
