€50.62 a gram is currently gold spot price, but the part you are missing here is:  The strictly limited stamps have a nominal value of 50,000 cents, making them worth € 500

1-gram gold bar from the Austrian Mint .... So there is that too, so add another ~ €80 () for the gold with premium, plus their profit, and that means they will go for at least € 600, IMO....

About gold unicorn, from the point of view of "classic philatelic collector" this is an objected that has some glitches...
I mean why issue a stamp with this EXPLOSIVE facial value? Has a real usage?
What type of shipment can be payed or what type of tariff to cover this usage?
If you used for real postage... of course it will be stolen!

if they will sell at this price (500 euro) it's a pure speculation or a product created ad hoc for taking money from collector... personally I didn't like at all this news...

Amazing error...would love to know if anyone found an invert!

to detect these misprints, you unfortunately have to open the seal to see the whole stamps.
since all my stamps are still sealed and i was able to determine the colour and the code, it is quite possible that there is a misprint somewhere under the whole stamps

The first 1.0 was fantastic!
Now postage stamps are appearing without hot printing! how did it go through quality control? After all the phases, the postage Crypto must have been placed manually in the packaging, and no one noticed the error?  

When the Austrian post office does the advertising, it creates suspense, here comes Crypto Gold, ok .., is that it?
Edition Gold is a separate release,  500 euros or more!

I was already talking badly about Crypto 2.0  , today I opened 4 more, and finally a red one  .
But many blacks were discouraging ..

A honeybadger stamp with the same error showed up on eBay (via Jcga). 530 euros.
