Yes , imagine if they only used ´Crypto related´ animals. This would be a great success  Tongue

Well that was kind of exciting! I bought from the online store using a debit card. The site crashed for more than an hour but finally got my order in.

crypto.post.at says:

There are 60.000 stamps of each animal. each animal has the same value. in presale only 2.500 pieces are sold onchain.

-> the figures (doge sold out, others 3digit-availability) refers to onchain. fiat-purchase for all the rest. Website is working now, all animals still available.

I think it's quite funny that they mixed up llama with alpaca. Well, at least they got close to it.  Cheesy Roll Eyes

Kinda sad to see there is no treasure hunt for super rare stamps this time. Also 240k... not really rare in any way.

Congrats to all who were able to purchase some on-chain doge, though. Somehow my purchase failed after 20 minutes and now they sold out.

since the stamp uses both sides now it looks like you can take out the actual postal stamp from the front side (barcode + "700") as the actual stamp.. nice idea, i like it and hope there is a special ink, or maybe even 4 special INKS!

There is still the black, green, blue, yellow, red rarities in each animal stamp. We'll have to see how they break it down.

at least there should be 4/5/6 digit codes again, on the backside is a [1] field for that.

No. there are 60k for each one! not 240k!  these are 4 different stamp.
Probably these stamp will go out of stock before end of June since it's interesting for people that collect stamps (likewise new edition or Austrian Stamps) + people that collect bitcoin/crypto currencies stuff .

PS there is no difference between on chain / in store stamps. just these are two different ways to buy it.
I have just taken some from their shop and everything was ok ...

at least there should be 4/5/6 digit codes again, on the backside is a [1] field for that.

We are not sure about that at this moment. It could be a sort of "specialization".
My dream  Grin is a print error on a stamps, it would be some very interesting Wink

source?

Also does anybody know if they will send out ERC721 tokens later?
On the site it says "Here you can purchase presale tokens for each of these motifs that can be exchanged at a later date for real Crypto stamp 2.0 tokens/stamps." but nobody received any tokens yet.
I hope they will not just be saved on the post server.. that would be pretty lame and pointless to do a limited presale.
