Because of the fact that altcoins are not growing, at least majority of them, some are already dead but that does not fully affect the market as there are new projects that are born with a good potential also. I personally choose bitcoin over altcoins. I was introduced to the crypto market some three years ago, and ever since I have been watching dynamic of the crypto market. I think it happened to Litecoin because of the existence of halving. For some altcoins such as ethereum, it looks like altseason is still far away because ethereum prices againts bitcoin are still down even though ethereum price againts dollar is still following the price of bitcoin

Yes, I seems to agree with you. Most people are too drawn into altseason that they tend to miss out on other opportunities. With the nature of the market I don't think altseason is coming anytime soon thus it will be wise leveraging on other opportunities, either trading or holding BTC while allowing the market to have its course.
