Bitcoin has survived so many obstacles and competition ever since its creation in 2009. It survived tough competition from alts such as Litecoin, Ethereum and Cardano. The forking of coins such as BCH and BSV was another tough battle for Bitcoin. Now the next obstacle is going to be the competition from Libracoin, which may get launched in 2020.

I think the competition was against Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, but as you have said, bitcoin remains on top of the game. And I don't think that we have doubts specially the attempt in 2017. It has survived the test of time. I don't know about Libracoin though, the community is still divided as to whether it will be a direct competition of bitcoin or will it just be another crypto pegged to a certain currency. |

Bitcoin currently can be recognized as the king of crypto because from volume market of support, the price side and and the popularity bitcoin can beat altcoins and maybe bitcoin will remain on that position for last long because until now i could not see any altcoins could be the replacement of bitcoin and i think people might be agreed with this

Bitcoin currently can be recognized as the king of crypto because from volume market of support, the price side and and the popularity bitcoin can beat altcoins and maybe bitcoin will remain on that position for last long because until now i could not see any altcoins could be the replacement of bitcoin and i think people might be agreed with this The amount of trust that blockchain provide would also be a factor why it is on the top spot. It will be even harder to beat that for a altcoin. |

I think the competition was against Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, but as you have said, bitcoin remains on top of the game. And I don't think that we have doubts specially the attempt in 2017. I don't know about Libracoin though, the community is still divided as to whether it will be a direct competition of bitcoin or will it just be another crypto pegged to a certain currency. As far as I understand, the exchange rate of Libracoin will be determined based on the market dynamics. The only difference between the other cryptocurrencies is that Libracoin will be a centralized cryptocoin. So in case Zuckerberg doesn't like your FB profile, then there is a chance that he may freeze your coins and impound your wallet.  |

Bitcoin has already been part in every crypto in thr market and influence by bitcoin market price. This is why I do not think that other coin will become king of cryptocurrency. Yet, there is no permament in a system for all are subject for change. Who knows one day that other altcoi s will rise up according to the deman of the project and how useful is the project that one were being handle.
So, my answer is clear bitcoin for now is the king of cryptocurreny but who knows one day it will be surpassed by other altcoin projects.

bitcoin will forever remain the king of cryptocurrency, no altcoin will question or challenge its leadership. There's no renowned coin that is eager to go as far or reigned as bitcoin. Bitcoin has gained much popularity and value, everybody wants to have it to store up their assets ,use it in running transaction or to make profit with it than other coins

Since the inception of Bitcoin in 2009, even though different coins have been created, Bitcoin is still number one and will still be number one. With the way blockchain technology as well as cryptocurrency is expanding, we have hope that Bitcoin will not die anytime soon.

what's happening with bitcoin has now proven that Bitcoin is the king of all coins, but doesn't rule out the possibility that there will be coins that can compete with Bitcoin in the future, and that it only competes not as high as bitcoin.
because with the presence of LIBRA coins from FACEBOOK, it will increase competition in the crypto world and maybe more coins will come from other large companies.

It will always remain the king even if people value another coin higher one day. The king in my understanding is the precursor and the first of its kind. Henry Ford could be called the king of automobiles and it doesn't matter that there are more companies on the market now and he's dead. People die but the ideas remain. The idea of bitcoin will not be forgotten.

All the new coins that came into the market that were claiming they were 10 times better than the bitcoin and that they will be bigger than the bitcoin and other wishful boasting, some of these boastful projects have now abandon their projects and invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin remains the king of all coins.

So, I still don't see any strong competitor for btc. So, my answer is yes.
I agree. A lot of new coins have arised but still they never stay for so long unlike bitcoin who has been here for 10 years and become even more popular as time goes by. I may not predict what will be the future of bitcoin but as far as i know, it has still a very bright future and hopefully will be acknowledge soon by the mass. |

Who knows Bitcoin will the Number one in the future? Does anyone know that's bitcoin will still work in the future? I think here a new coin will get the first place in the crypto market. Any coin takes this place. Need more popularity and marketing with a good opportunity.

It's very hard for any other coin to reach the popularity of Bitcoin. This is why I think Btc will remain the king for many years to come.
The fact that Bitcoin's dominance is over 60% is another proof that things will not change anytime soon.

The dominance has now increased to 65%!!!! It is surprising that there are still people who doubt the supremacy of Bitcoin. Altcoins are getting destroyed right now, and even established alts such as Ethereum and Litecoin are on their way to oblivion. Litecoin is now trading at 0.0091 BTC per coin, and if the trends continue, it may dip to as low as 0.004. Ether has also gone below the important support level of 0.025 BTC (currently trading at 0.023946 BTC, as per coinmarketcap). |
