Barcelona vs Bayern is the stand-out 1/4 final match, I make whoever wins this the favourite to win the tournament. Man City are good sure but they have no pedigree in this competition & that usually counts for something.

I wouldn't rule out Man City out at this time, it's a knockout game for here on, so It's mostly going to be about tactical approach and Guardiola seemed to be of more experience than most of the managers left if not all, I'm somewhat wary of Barcelona chances as they found of having at least a terrible game in either of most 2 legged games, so there won't be any chance of redemption for any team.

City remains my favourite team to go all the way, Lyon shouldn't be a hard nut for them to begin that journey with.

Barcelona vs Bayern is the stand-out 1/4 final match, I make whoever wins this the favourite to win the tournament.

Many prediction say that Barcelona is difficult to maximize the result in this match because Napoli is not an easy opponent but Barcelona is able to overcome Napoli is resistance which is known to play quite well. Of course both team have a chance to qualify for the next round but Barcelona are the ones who are lucky. Very nice. But subsequent matches were more intense for both team, both Barcelona and Bayern.

Barcelona is pretty convincing in the Champion this time, I hope they can reach the final this season.

Barcelona also had a lot of luck at the start of the match with Napoli and it was seen that they were playing under a lot of pressure.
When they took the lead in the match, it was much easier for them to play.
Of course, when there is Messi in the team, everything is much easier 
However, Barcelona did not convince me at all after this match that they could win the European Champions League.
It's still a "one man show" and against stronger rivals (like Bayern or Manchester city) it won't be enough to win.

As expected, Real Madrid lost to City and Barcelona beat Napoli. City is likely to advance to the final, where it will play against Bayern, Lyon and Barcelona will not be able to oppose anything to these teams.

It seems that the category difference between Bayern Munich and Chelsea is quite huge, even though Chelsea are quite a formidable team in the English Premier League and they have also managed to gain a spot as one of the top four teams on the table at the end of this season, but Bayern Munich are still able to score many goals against Chelsea, I think it will be very entertaining to watch Bayern Munich playing against Barcelona at the quarter finals.

Thats what I pointed out yesterday, Imagine how good they actually are if they are truly serious. I got the feeling that they wasnt really serious about those match given that they have scored 3 goals in the 1st leg and it is an away game so they have gotten the advantages. Not to mention that the first half ended with 2-1 for Munich

Thats pretty much sum up that they wouldnt need to even try hard on the second half anymore . Truly a beast though to be able to beat Chelsea 7-1

This is the last hope for them after failed to be champions in La Liga. About PSG vs Atalanta, I wants Atalanta win over PSG, this will be more interesting another underdog success to give a surprise.

The games are going by a lot faster in this new system, I understand that due to pandemic everything was postponed and teams do not have enough time to make transfers and get them registered for next season and have preseason beforehand to make sure everyone works together, so they did pushed the games closer to each other probably in order to finish it quickly and make it end so that teams would work out a lot faster and get back into their own preseason (which means players probably won't have time to relax and have a vacation which is important to relax their bodies to prevent injuries) but this much quick games could cause teams to not really do that well, good teams could end up playing bad.

I do not think this champions league this season worths as much as the other ones.

Yeah, I agree with you, have a key players like Ronaldo, Messi, makes the club not balances. Too many players give hope to the key players to attack, so they will passed the ball to key players many times. in the ends, when opponents can stopped the key player, it will also makes them find a way to win.

It is true. We don't deny that Messi is a special player who can make a significant influence in the game. But he can't play alone and need support from other players. Bayern also has strong players like Neuer and Lewandowski who have the ability to change the course of the game. Even, they are better as a team at playing, unlike Messi who seems playing alone. In this matter, I also prefer to choose Bayern as the winner and goes to the next stage. Sorry for Barca fans, but It is not my own perspective but most people stated the same thing.

Atletico has two positive tests in their team, but it's yet unknown if staff or players. Odds are already going south for Leipzig, which might be a bit of an overreaction. But since they didn't publish the names, it might be players, because you could easily reveal the names if it was "just" staff. There is also the possibility of more individuals getting tested positive in the upcoming days (incubation time), so I would be very careful with betting on Atletico
Maybe Leipzig will even advance to next round without any play, if there are more cases.

Barcelona will need other ways to reach the ball to Suarez maybe in order to score goals.
Apparently, the defensive line is going to play Messi stronger in order not to let him dribble or pass for goal.
Maybe those actions are needed to happen from Griezmann in this game in order to surprise the German team while they will be focused on Messi 100%.

I don't think that's going to happen.
I think that UEFA already has a plan for such situations and that these 2 players will probably be quarantined and the other players will go into self-isolation and will have additional tests.
If the other players are negative in the test, I'm sure that this match will be played.

Messi is good at games with less experienced teams. When they meet well-coordinated and experienced teams, Messi cannot show anything, however, like the whole team.

Sometimes Lionel Messi doesn't stir when the opponent already knows his weakness and that has happened several times so Messi will not bring significant impact on Barcelona's influence, Bayern have a strong mentality in defense and also my attackers prefer Lewandowski who is always sharp in front of goal and only misses a bit so when there is the right shot it might be a goal for Bayern Munich.
Let's bet who is better in my opinion Bayern Munich will dominate and continue to attack.

City was really lucky with Lyon going through. Juventus was a team that really does not suit them based on their playstyle and in 1 game they could have caused them a lot of problems.

Lyon showed they can defend well but they are inferior to City in every position on the pitch and it would be a miracle if they did not advance to the semifinals.

Atalanta-PSG looks like a 5+ goals game, I'm really looking forward to that one.

PSG's chances are very big in Atalanta's quarter-finals maybe it will be quite difficult for a bit but I think this can be overcome by PSG, of course Mbappe is very important on the right front line because it will greatly affect fast attacks from Mbappe and Neymar.

I am sure that even if it is playing away for PSG they will win.
