Finally Champions league is back. Can't wait for these games. Though it's just 1st leg games and teams are probably not going to risk too much now.
Atletico - Liverpool. I think we can't expect many goals in this game, I pick under 2.5 goals @1.6. Atletico have difficult season, so Liverpool win @2.15 looks attractive.
Borussia - PSG. I think we can see great match, both teams are scoring a lot in their leagues. Maybe I will go with Borussia win, cuz they are great at home.

Only 3 attackers for Atletico?

Is it a real problem? I think it is okay since they won't play full attack. I assume Atletico Madrid will put many players on the midfield. And may put only one striker on the front line. They must be aware to win the midfield to dominate ball possession. This is the only way to defeat Liverpool. Stop the ball supply to their attackers!

We really should beat them tomorrow, they’re a pale shadow of the team who reached two CL Finals. They’ve played 24 games in La Liga & only won 10.

They play ultra defensive though & I have a feeling that it might be 0-0. We’re by far the better team but I think they’ll park the bus & limit any space to play in.

We’ll qualify over 2 legs, they won’t handle the atmosphere at Anfield in the 2nd leg but tomorrow will be tough.
Like I said we should win but I predict 0-0 & a really boring game of few chances & them diving, wasting time & using the dark arts.

I don’t blame Atletico for choosing a defensive squad as they can only beat Liverpool by playing negative football (or like Mourinho would say parking the bus), because this season Liverpool have been unstoppable and no team in their right mind would play attacking football against them hence this looks like a wise decision to me.

Also I’m excited to see who’ll come on top between Mbappe (PSG) and Haaland (Dortmund) as these two youngsters are the future of football, and some have even compared their rivalry to Ronaldo and Messi though I personally feel that it’s too early for this kind of comparison.

Not afraid of Atletico at all. They are a good defensive team, not a great one anymore, and they lack their counteratacking threat and individual quality they used to have through Griezmann.

I'm sure they cannot stop Liverpool from scoring and if we get the first one early enough, it might be a bad night for Atletico.
Liverpool played a reserved game against Norwich because they can afford it, but I expect a dominant attacking performance today.

two interesting matches tonight, for me match in Dortmund is great for goals, and expect to see 4+ or more there, since both teams are playing offensive football, and PSG is a bit better, which is not enough to be sure to pass through into next round
Liverpool on the other hand is this season great, and Atletico should not be a problem at all, they are trying to reach top four in Spain, which will be success for them, and i do not think that their main effort is now on the Champions league, since title is just too far... for Liverpool i expect to reach at least semi-final, and then everything is open...

I don't know much about Atl but looking at their recent performance in their own league and looking at some other teams I feel that we will win the match with close margin. If we were in Anfield then I would not hesitate much. I made up my mind. A 2 - 1 win for us.

Liverpool played a reserved game against Norwich because they can afford it, but I expect a dominant attacking performance today.

But it's not that they played bad against Norwich. Norwich was too defensive and this is why we did not score many goals. Let's hope Atl do not do the same.

Dortmund vs PSG will be a tense match because Dortmund are also in the domestic league very well while PSG has many main players who are popular but I am sure in this match it can be a draw by scoring goals.
I believe Liverpool will win with Atletico Madrid even though this is the first match of the big 16 but I believe in Liverpool which is dubbed the club unbeaten in its league.

In the match Dortmund and Paris Paris Saint Germain there will be a sharp battle between the attackers between Halaand and Mbappe who dominates for their own clubs because the two attackers have their respective sharpness so they are very relied on once.
Halaand is pretty good in the Bundesliga and always scores goals while Mbappe has running speed and also good performance in front of his opponents so this match will be more exciting to watch.

All teams certainly want the best result, which is victory, because winning at home will be very important for capital in leg 2 later. I won't bet anything tonight, I just want to watch. But for Liverpool, I want them to win tonight.

I would say Liverpool will win today, that is definitely looking like a game they should win, I know Athletico Madrid is not a bad team but at the same time we are talking about Liverpool here, they are literally ahead of everyone else 20+ points in premier league right now with absolutely no loss at all. PSG probably will win if nothing else happens that is out of expected I would give the game to PSG.

The real difficult one that I am not entirely sure about is Tottenham and Liepzig, Liepzig started the year amazingly but they ended up not doing so well, Tottenham on the other hand started horribly but now they are doing better, however if you take out the averages of the season Liepzig still looks like the better team right now. That is about all the wagerable games there is, Barcelona will probably win, Munich will probably win but they will probably get bad odds.

I agree about your perspective for Atletico Madrid. I think that they are going to get a positive result against Liverpool.
However, I don't agree that PSG is going to win. They have a better team but I have faith on Dortmund that they can score at least one goal in this game and get a draw.

I also have an incredible on atletico madrid grinding out either a win or a draw against liverpool. The odds and pressure are well on liverpool to triumph and on a fascinate note, atletico do well as underdogs, and playing at home, it will be fun to watch.

I do not see Psg winning dortmund, perhaps couple of goals.
