Is it just me or it seems that there is no superior club that can dominate European football at the moment, well after Barcelona and Real Madrid domination ended actually. Let's look at the top four favorites:
- Man City
- Liverpool
- PSG
- Barcelona

Only Liverpool and PSG have a strong performance in both domestic and European matches up to this week.

Juventus did not have easy match in Moscow against Lokomotiv but Douglas Costa scored second goal for 1-2 result.
I did not watch the game, but they are now in top position in groups D with 10 points

The already qualified teams might rest some of their key-players then, so we possibly want to look out for some tasty odds for the underdogs then.

Matchday 5 (26/11):

Gala - Brugge

Both teams fighting for 3rd place and thus securing a spot in the EuropeLeague, assuming both teams want that.
The first leg ended 0:0 in Brugge and we can expect a hard fight in Istanbul.
Gala would possibly be happy with any draw, but they have to be aware that Brugge will play PSG on matchday 6 where possibly there will no immediate need for PSG to go full-force.

No easy betting here, I will possibly go for goals live, as soon as the first one is in the net.


Real - PSG

These 2 teams theoretically fighting for 1st place in the group.
To make it to the 1st place Real needs to beat PSG + hope for Gala to beat PSG.
This is quite unlikely, but I would assume both teams will take this fixture as decisive, a draw would be enough for PSG though.

For this moment there are still interests for both sides, so I won´t touch this one.

Real Madrid really surprised me yesterday. Their performance was lit – Something we haven't seen since the start of the season until yesterday. The Benzema and Rodrygo linkup is getting better and better with each passing game. At least now, We know the teams that would qualify in Group A. If they keep putting out such performance like they did yesterday, I'm sure they'll go far in the competition. Don't write them off.

Personally, I didn't know this guy since yesterday... And what surprised me is that I found his account on Instagram and he has already around 1.5m followers which seems that he was already known!

Kinda expected it after a disappointing weekend... a win with a couple of goals maybe.
Rodrygo is actually a great kid, much better than Vinicious especially with finishing. Vinicious is good to watch with the trickery and dribbling but his finishing still needs some work.

I can't believe Galatasaray played so horribly, it wasn't even really a system error or anything else, no tactic problems, sure there was a team talent level difference but remembering that this team played with Madrid just recently and ended up with 1-0 loss due to one ball hitting the defender type of goal there was no talent difference at 6 goal level.

There is no more passion in football which creates all of this trouble, there is no more looking at it as a hobby or a love and what not, this is all just a business for the players and as long as they play enough to get paid that is all they want from football. I can understand an accountant not loving his job and just doing enough to not get fired, I can understand a car mechanic not liking his job but if a football player doesn't play with fire then it shows and this is the result.

Teams like Galatasaray are known for being very strong at the home tuft. Even if the talent difference between the two teams playing is usually huge. They tend to be so strong at home but get exposed when they travel to pay away from home.

What would have been much more horrible is if they had lost to Real Madrid 6-0 at Istanbul like the way Tottenham heavily lost to Bayern Munich at White Hart lane

One interesting game was Dinamo Zagreb - Shakhtar Donetsk, that ended with 3:3 result.
Dinamo was holding 3-1 score until extra time

It was very interesting match.
In the beginning Shakhtar was better,  than Dinamo started to play really very well and after their third goal I think everybody was sure that they will win the match.
I really don’t know how to explain last a few minutes of the match.
Confusion,  panic, luck of experience in such matches,   something else but Dinamo players lost chance to beat Shakhtar and to secure second place in the group.
Now,  it will be very difficult for them.

I don’t think Real are a shit team but they have peaked and are on a downward spiral. They need to build a new team now, they’ve started by signing Hazard & blooding Rodrygo but it’s going to take a while.

Hazard is not a signing for creating a new team.
He is already "old" and the team cannot be built on him. Real Madrid needs to bring more young players on the first line up and find a key player such as Rodrygo in order to build the squad on him.

As today with the only progress earned on the final stage, they already gained 73M €.

This value will increase with the results of the last 2 matches and if some of the other Italian teams will be eliminated on the group stage.

Considering the home match with Atletico, and at least 1 home match on the 1/8 and only 1 win on these 3 matches, Juventus probably already earned ~85 millions.

OK, tomorrow the CL continues, so let's continue our discussion  
We have some really interesting matches tomorrow, like Real vs. PSG or Tottenham vs. Olympiacos and of course Juventus vs. Atletico.
It will be interesting to see how Tottenham with new coach, Mourinho, will play against Olympiacos and if Juve can again, like last year, beat Atletico.
Real has not been playing at a high level for a long time and now has a chance to show against PSG that the crisis is behind them.
With particular interest I will look at the match between Atalanta and Dinamo.
After dropping a victory against Shakhtar in an incredible way a few weeks ago, now Dinamo players have the opportunity for redemption in Italy.
If they manage to beat Atalanta, and with the expected defeat of the Shakhtar against Manchester City, for the first time in the history of the club, Dinamo have the opportunity to continue to compete in the Champions League in the spring.
More than 50 years ago, they were the winners of the UEFA Cup, but they never achieved much in the Champions League, until now

Man City vs Shakhtar : Man City
Tottenham vs Olympiacos : Tottenham
I really have not much idea about some of none English team but looking at the previous h2h and recent performance I think City and Tottenham should win their matches.

Real made me some good money against their last LaLiga match. But I think this time it's not going to be easily. If I am not wrong then Neymar is in PSG and they are really a very good team in their league. So Real will be tested. This match can go both way.

By the way, between Juventus and Atl. Madrid I will go with Juventus. And for rest of the matches, I have no clue LOL

There is two interesting games tomorrow.
First is Real - PSG. Probably I will back Real because they are playing great recently. BTTS sould be good choice for this game, but odds for it is just 1.45.
In Juve - Atletico game I would like to see Atletico winning, but probably it's not going to happen. Under 2.5 goals at 1.65 is my choice.
In City - Shakhtar game I think we can expect many goals. City are going to win easily, but I believe that Shakhtar may score 1 goal, maybe I will risk with BTTS.
Atalanta - Dinamo Zagreb. Any thoughts about it from our Croatian guys there? Why Dinamo is written of by bookmakers? I wouldn't call Atalanta as obvious favorites...

I'm confident about Spurs win. Olympiacos isn't most difficult opponent and Spurs will play at home.
