In the first Test of the three-match Test series, West Indies lost by a series margin to England and in that match we saw the five-day game come to an end before just three days were over. West Indies batsmen could not stand up against England bowlers on the other hand West Indies bowlers could not bowl well against England batsmen resulting in a big defeat. The two teams will again face each other to play the second Test match of the series on 18th. I will put England ahead in the second test as well and there is a possibility of England winning the second test by a big margin. The West Indies cricketers must be patient enough in the second Test match if they rush too much then the same result as the first Test match can be repeated in the second Test match.

IMO, unless there is rain interruption England is going to sweep the series 3-0 and each of the matches will be won by them with a big margin. For West Indies, the biggest challenge remains facing the England seamers. Although Anderson is gone, they need to deal with Mark Wood, Chris Woakes and Gus Atkinson. And Atkinson nabbed 12 wickets in the first test and the West Indian batsmen were completely clueless against him. The only one who got a score of more than 30 in the first test was tailender Gudakesh Motie.

England vs West Indies 2nd test will commence tomorrow and it looks like Mark Wood will be replacing Anderson who retired officially from all formats of the game. Wood, Woakes and Atkinson is a great combo against the Windies.

England will win this one comfortably too, but I am not expecting them to win by an innings this time around. Let's see what happens.

England's Under 19 team is in full control of this test match. They are on 27 runs lead and still only lost two wickets. Jaydn Denly played a brilliant inning's but sadly he could not complete his century and was out on 91 runs. Keshana Fonseka is batting on 65 and he must be eyeing at 100 runs.

Now, the big question is when should England declare this innings and how much runs lead would be enough for them. They should give themselves enough time to bowl out Sri lanka team even if they resist. Maybe they can play fast and declare the innings one hour before the end of day's play to get one or two wickets of Sri Lanka.

After having good performance in first test we have worst end of the first inning for the Sri Lanka as they all out on 153 runs Gayana Weerasinghe score 77 runs and rest of the team able to score only 76 runs which is surely terrible end of their first inning.

Now as we have England on batting things are going favourable for them to win this game by big margin because now we are near the end of second day play, and they are already leading by 171 runs most chances today we have nearly 230 to 240 runs lead which allow them to have tomorrow early declaration and try to win this game by big margin.

Currently, we are having Flintoff Jr and Hamza Shaikh on crease both already having 90+ runs partnership which is allowing them to play freely and have good end of this game for their team.

Sri Lanka Under 19s - England Under 19s

It cannot be said that West Indies will change their perform.  Because if there was a change they could gradually bring it to their team.  But nothing like that can be seen in them.  And the team is not strong enough to improve itself at once.  Yes England are look themselves in good form and are trying to win the match and they have won the match.  If it is against the West Indies it is difficult to say that the West Indies will win.  Because West Indies cannot match their perform and win the match.  According to my predict England will definitely win this match because Sri Lanka perform is good but not equal to England.  Therefore it is difficult for Sri Lanka to win. West Indies need to perform well in themselves.  If they lose to England if they keep their perform like that they can become a strong team.

England Under 19 team is performing well in test match and  Sri Lankan U19 team played very bad and made very low score in first inning and they made only 153 runs and all team out by making only 153 runs.  Now  England U19 team is batting well and  two set betters are present on the crease .  Jaydn  Denly is not out on 69 runs by facing 89 balls and England batters are playing very fast and I think they will win this match easily because they have 9 wickets in the hand and they need only 41 runs to equal tge score on board. Naavya Sharma played excellent and took 5 wickets in first  inning and he was top performer of first inning . Harry also took 2 wickets and he also performed well in this match. Gayana  made 77 runs in 111 balls and he was the only person who performed well from Sri Lanka U19 team .

2 nd of 2 nd test game between England U19 team vs Sri Lanka U19 was played today and ended. Sri Lanka U19 team already played 1 st Inning and their inning concluded in 1 st day and only made 153 runs. England U19 team chased this 153 runs and now their continue playing their trailing runs. N.Sharma bowlers of England U19 showed great effort in bowl and he took down 5 wickets. Now England U19 batsman performed in pitch and their effort is going very brilliant, j.Denly was very close to complete century but failed for 91 runs. H.Shaikh was dismissed but he completed century and scoring 107 runs. Hopefully, Rockey will complete their century tomorrow in 3rd day of this game, he scored 84 runs with help of jack batsman.

I expected a completely one-sided match. And the match is completely one-sided. Sri Lanka's under-19 team has relatively few talented players. England U19 team is strong enough. And England's young players are performing very responsibly in Test matches too. However, I expected to see a little better performance from the Sri Lankan players.



Sri Lanka's young players managed to muster just 153 runs in their first innings. On the other hand, England team collected 401 runs after losing 5 wickets. England players have managed to take a lead of 248 runs. Hamza Sheikh was dismissed for 107 runs. Rocky is still unbeaten with 82 runs. Moreover, Jaydn Denly played an innings of 91 runs and Keshana Fonseka 76 runs. The performance of Sri Lankan batsmen as well as their bowlers is also very poor

If we talk about the match between England and West Indies in test format, I don’t think West Indies have any chance to win against England in this format of cricket. England is one of the top teams when it comes to test cricket. Just like we saw in the first match, England will probably win the next match pretty easily as well. Rain could be the only thing which might save the West Indies from losing.

And yes I also understand what you were saying. Right now there is going to be a transition in the cricket of England. The legendary players are going to retire and newer players are going to take their place. It is going to be interesting to see what Performance they can deliver.

By the way most of us beleive that England under 19 team will win this match no doubt in this, but when it will officially announced then it would be great. Let’s see what will happen this day, i hope something good will happen for the England as rountine.

Finally the second Test match will start after some time between England and West Indies, While at the last time the full West Indies team played so poorly and no words for that game.
That Lord's  test match has finished in just three days so we can image, how poor performance it was by the West Indies team and on the other side the England team it’s on peak, as their under 19s team excellent performance in test against Sri Lanka U19 while on the other side their women team whitewashed to the New Zealand women and here is their original men’s team who is winning against West Indies in test cricket.

The news from the ground is that West Indies win the toss and choose to field. As we knew James Anderson will not be playing this match and hence Mark Wood comes in the side. Also Kevin Sinclair is playing this match as Gudakesh is not well.

Ollie Pope is very much close to complete his century, he made 75 runs and he is taking more strikes. Also there is no pressure in England team that is why he can bat freely also at this time.

Just there is a pressure onto the West Indies team as they are playing with full pressure because of their poor performance. Ben Duckett also played well as he made 71 in 50 which is like a T20 performance and just imagine if he would hit century with this high run rate then it would be great but still the main motive is England team win and the England is playing exactly as they would have expected.

I am looking to bet on England team but right now the odds are very low like 1.04 or less. Not worth taking the bet but if England loses one or two quick wickets the odds may rise and that maybe the best time to place a bet on England team.

Gudakesh Motie was one of the few players who performed well during the last match, and he is unavailable for selection to the West Indian squad this time. And quite predictably, West Indian bowlers are struggling against the England batsmen. But the real battle will happen when the West Indian batsmen face the pace battery of Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson and Mark Wood. From what I have seen so far, the pitch at Trent Bridge is providing good support for the seamers (although Alzarri Joseph and Jayden Seales failed so far to use it for their advantage).

Yes, the Third session of the day is continuing England currently scored 294 runs in a loss of 5 wickets. Ben Duckett played well and scored 71 runs from just 59 balls playing like T20 cricket with a strike rate of 120. Ollie Pope also played an outstanding inning of 121 runs with 15 four and 1 six in his inning and reached the England total near 300 runs. Ben Stokes is playing now at 48 runs not out very close to half-century his inning is very important for England if they set a huge total for west indies in Frist inning. from West Indies Alzarri Joseph bowl well so far picked 2 important wickets. Joseph and Sinclair also picked 1, 1 wicket but didn't bowl some extraordinary spell that put pressure on England batters. I think England will set a total of 450 plus runs in the first inning of the second test match against the West Indies.

England team is very strong and good perform compared to West Indies.  And the West Indies team is an ordinary team.  If they keep their bowling good in the match and their batsmen keep their pace then they can win the match.  If they do not succeed in this, no matter how hard they try, they cannot win the match.  Because the England team will perform very well in the match.  And his perform has scored 213 runs in 44 overs.  And if they keep up their speed like this, they can give difficult targets.  And the West Indies bowling is not looking that special.  From this it can be predicted that England can win the match.  I am not impressed with any West Indies performance.  So I am speaking in favor of the England team.  If West Indies win this match.  So the main reason will be their performance and secondly because of England's weakness.  Otherwise, I am already saying that England will win this match.

The match has been started West India won the toss and decided bowling first .England woman have now scored 313 runs for the loss of five wickets.Too bad for Zak Crawley because he was out for a zero runs and he was the first to batting and got out for a zero runs  but it is very good that the pressure of his wicket did not come to England second batsmen.  And pope made up for  lack with good batting performances. He surprised the west India team by hitting so many fours and the west India bowlers were disappointed in front of him. And at this time B. Stokes and J. Smith are batting, their partnership is going well and B. Stokes has scored 50 runs, he has completed her half century and now he is going to complete her full century . From her partnership it looks like  is going to give west India a big challenge.

The partnership between these two is now worth 60 runs and the most important part is that they scored the runs at a brisk pace. 20 overs remain for today's play. If these two can stay at the crease till end of the day's play, then England can get to 450-500. And trust me, this is more than enough to assure an innings victory against West Indies. And like I said in one of my previous post, the absence of Gudakesh Motie has removed any remaining venom from the West Indian bowling attack.
