New Zealand team is bowling well in the first day test match and their bowling line is really interesting due to which Australia team is under pressure. If the Australian team scores 300 runs on the first day, then maybe New Zealand can easily meet this target. Although Australia is currently a strong team and they may change their game and if their game improves then New Zealand team will not grow with Australia. We have seen Australia play brilliantly in Test matches and New Zealand beat them at home. So it is difficult to say which team will win the first test match but Australia is more likely and if New Zealand team can perform well then they can definitely beat Australia.

Aus lost wickets in the wrong time especially after building partnership and not taking it to the next level. Probably it is one of the best bowling performance by NZ against AUS for very long time but still it's kind of decent total and Lyon even Hazlewood can hang around for very long time if Green decided to score big but only 10 overs remaining today and if this innings last for tomorrow then Morning will be kind of tricky again to bat and can fell short of runs.

Devdutt Padikkal likely to make his debut in last test match at Dharamshala as KL unlikely to be fit by then while Patidar continues to under perform, even if KL was fit, I'd say they should have given chance to Padikkal as India has already won the series, so try some new blood when there is nothing to lose.

Also, I feel Akash Deep will have his stay in playing XI.

But there, the Ireland team gave a lead of 33 runs by meeting the target of 155 runs given by the Afghanistan team. And lost only six wickets Ireland team now has batsmen who are mostly experienced batting wise but have vast experience in bowling side of Ireland team players. Zia ur Rahman and Naveed Zarda have done the best bowling performance for Afghanistan team. If unique bowling like them could have performed well then Afghanistan team could have bowled them out in few runs.

KL Rahul ruled out of final test while Bumrah is back in squad. Washington Sundar has also been ruled out since he'll be playing in Ranji Trophy for his side TN.

If Afghanistan's batsmen can do well in the second innings, the team still has a chance to win. But Afghanistan's batsmen have to collect at least more than 300. Afghanistan will not win if they give a target of less than 200. Afghanistan is behind by 108 runs. So more than 300 must be collected in Afghanistan's second innings.

Lots of media reporting the same so might be true.

Siraj played 2 back to back matches and nowadays high command taking workload management pills regularly so he could be rested. In that scenario Akashdeep deserves another go, Bumrah is coming back so Siraj missing out on the last match shouldn't be an issue.

What's happening with the BCCI these days? Surprisingly and for a good reason, they are being too aggressive and looking serious regarding strengthening domestic and test cricket.

Matching an IPL contract seems a big deal to me, guess it's for national contract players only not Ranji players, maybe there would be a different yardstick for Ranji players. Atm they earn like 10-20 lakhs if they are playing all Ranji fixtures, it might go up again.

BCCI reportedly planning red-ball match fee hike to meet IPL contract value

As per a report, the value could be raised to such an extent that if a player takes parts in all Test matches in a year, he will be able to make Rs 15 crore which will be same as a marquee contract in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and will enhance the profile of red-ball cricket.
