Australia never let any team to win on their pitch especially in test matches in their home ground. They finished the first  game of Ashes in just two days and now for the next game, we have to wait till 4th December. By the way, there is a tour match in between. Mitchell Starc with an extraordinary bowling, he got 10 wickets overall after adding both the wickets from first and the second innings. While also Travis Head with his century, and being the highest scorer of this first match. Australia has the lead now and let's see who will win the next matches.

In the first innings, Australia got out easily by the great bowling effort of Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and the other such bowlers that contribute in wickets or in making pressure but then in the second innings, England did not have progress but Australia had, Travis Head in the first innings with only 21 runs but this time he is with 123 runs and he also came as the opener while last time he came at the 5th number and I think this opening number would be great for him and in the next game he should open the game.

Runs are not coming easy for the batters but so are the wickets and plenty of hard work for bowlers.

100 overs up and fair amount of miles in every bowler's legs. This is time legs get tired for everyone and management will be thinking workload of Bumrah lol.

Nothing much to worry tho, it's typical test match pitch where everyone gets a chance to punch.

Things are not so good for the Indian team at the moment.

Temba Bavuma was batting good and looking for a partner to make a the the partnership with him and he tried his best but got out at 41 runs and right now all hopes are with Senuran Muthusamy batting on 65 runs and looking to make a century if batsmen at other end stay with him.

Proteas' are in strong position, worry sign for India if they cross 425 ish mark. Only relief is they are scoring slowly so there is a false sense of control on scorecard.

No one will cry if Gambhir is out but then audience will have to suffer his voice on comms.

I am impressed by the resilience showed Veryyenne and Muthuswamy who batter really well in the first session which I was hoping that India will took the remaining wickets.

Pitch is slower compared to yesterday and from now on batting will becomes harder which is why we see slow run rate. And it is good to see a traditional kind of test batting after a long time when we are so used to matches ends in day 2 and day 3.

You are right that due to fact that red soil pitch will get worse on day 4 and 5, draw is very unlikely, and only real chance of draw is in case bad light stops play too much, which is hard to guess as stadium is hosting its first Test match. South Africa is in very strong position since scoring more than 400 runs is usually enough to win  game and despite their slow scoring, they are smartly using up time such that by time India is called to bat they will have pitch that is at its worst.

Don't think it will detoriates that much as ranji record suggests it to be a batting friendly overall & batting slow is actually tactical from SA , they trying to take their loss out of equation ..india have to chase a win , Africa will be happy with a series win & taking 16 points out 24 in an tough away tour.

Bangladesh vs Ireland


On Day 5, Test match between Bangladesh and Ireland in Dhaka is over now and Bangladesh is win easily. Ireland needs huge 509 runs to win but they made only 291 runs. Bangladesh first batted very well with total of 476 runs with Litton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim scoring centuries and then they set high target. Their spin bowler, Taijul Islam, has been important on turning pitch, where he has taken good share of wickets, and work of Ireland has been mostly based upon good batting on part of Harry Tector and Curtis Campher. But now match is finished and Bangladesh has won this match easily.

428 for 7 Senuran Muthusamy 107 and Marco Jansen 51 both already score 94 runs partnership which is fourth highest for 8th wicket against India by South Africans this partnership already done huge damage because things like these hurt and teams moral goes down.

As both are playing look like they can cross 480 to 500 which could be problem for India because their batting is already in trouble and with this score things can go in favour of South Africa which is already leading this 2 test matches series after winning first test match at Eden Gardens Kolkata. After end of first session in second day's play South Africa are happy as they are having upper hand at their tour of Pakistan and India after having 2 wins 1 draw possible and 1 lost they have good start of their title defend in these difficult conditions.

In this second test match, the ground has been changed and it's seems that this ground  is not that much harder for the batting like we saw the in the previous match on Eden Gardens. So think because of batting friendly pitch the south African team are able to do a good score on their first innings.
In the mean time I also think that Indian team also do a good batting performance in this match so this match is not going to be easier like the previous one. Although we saw both team struggling with their batting performance in the previous one.

Feeling kinda sad for Curtis Campher. This guy could have gotten his 2nd test century today. He just needed some support from the other end. I couldn't blame the lower-order batters as well. Jordan Neill and Gavin Hoey played 150 balls, which is exactly 25 overs. I am sure even the Irish team didn't expect these lower-order batters to bat this long. Curtis Campher just had bad luck, which is why he was unable to score a century.

Congrats to the Bangladesh team for winning the test match again. Congrats, Mushi, for his performance, which is why he became man of the match today. Taijul got his reward as well. I saw Shakib Al Hasan expect Taijul to get 400 Test wickets at the end of his career.

Aussies were given a target of 205 runs to win and the way wickets were falling in first test, it looks clear that Aussies won't be able to win the game. But when Aussies came to bat in second innings, they played with confidence and scored runs quite easily. Travis Head showed aggression and played an innings of 123 runs on just 83 balls. Mitchell Starc was man of the match for picking 10 wickets. Aussies played a bazball cricket in their second innings which was the reason why English bowlers were not able to pick wickets.

Bangladesh vs Ireland .

Before the start of this series, everyone thought that Bangladesh would win the series, because this series was in Bangladesh's home ground and Bangladesh is a stronger team than Ireland. However, Bangladesh won both the Tests by a big margin which is very commendable. Honestly, I have seen Bangladesh's opening batsmen perform well after a long time. However, Bangladesh's batting and bowling have both been good in this series, due to which they have been able to defeat Ireland easily. But I was surprised to see this, Bangladesh scored a huge score on the Mirpur pitch and Ireland's batsmen also did well. However, now Bangladesh has to prepare for the T20 series, hopefully Bangladesh will win the T20 series as well.

I would say this is a perfect Test innings. Test matches test the patience of the players. Staying at the crease is more important than scoring runs. This is not an ODI match where you have to bat at a decent strike rate. Campher could not score any runs in the first innings. But in the second innings he scored 71 runs and remained unbeaten. He stayed at the crease for a long time. No other batsman in the Ireland squad could bat well. On the other hand, Bangladesh took full advantage of their home ground. The team won both the Test matches by big margins.

Proteas are playing their fourth test on subcontinent conditions, first two test matches in Pakistan and now second against India which give them good confidence and technique for understanding and scoring runs freely. On second day play, too much criticism about Indian body language which was really terrible for their fans 489 are huge target for first inning with tail enders contributed 250 runs which was really poor from Indian bowlers and captain at the end of second day play India are on 9 runs without any lose.

Conditions are batting friendly but last two days are going to be interesting just because of this, third day play is going to be important for India because they needed to be having decent runs on board if they want something good from this test and for draw the series.

These matches have no worth due to no points still providing good experience to Bangladeshi team which is now having too many personal milestones like Mushi is 11th player in test history who score century on his century test and now Tajul Islam is having highest ever test wickets for Bangladesh.

Recently they are doing good but still they needed more experience and improvement into their domestic system which give them confidence because test is always about patience and technique with good skills which are still not in many new players. Both matches give big wins to Bangladesh but still many questions to be asked with things are not favourable, and they are also having no players those can perform against top teams again this is all about domestic setup which is not working good.
