In this match, both the teams played their respective innings and the result is in front of us. I have not seen a good effort anywhere except Pakistan first innings. If their bowler bowled well and hard in the second innings, their batsmen should have taken advantage of it, but their batsmen showed carelessness due to which they were defeated. There are 2 matches in this Test series and even if Pakistan Victory the second match, that joy will not be able to increase their strength much, but it will restore their sunken pride which is not included in them. Their team has played with so much carelessness when they could have been very strong and easily successful. In the second innings, I did not feel that anyone except Fazal batting proved that they are playing for the success of the team.

Last time Azan Awais scored a century in the first innings, but this time in the second innings, he scored only 15 runs. He was playing with the same kind of mindset. He was playing smart until he made a very bad mistake. When Mehidy Hasan Miraz gave a googly, he understood it and played it on the back side, but due to bad luck, there was no connection between the bat and the bowl, but there was between the ball and the wickets.  
By the way, Azan Awais calculated the ball, which is why he tried for the back side, but still had a poor arrangement of the bat.

I have a feeling that Nahid Rana, along with Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman can form a deadly pace triad for Bangladesh. But first of all, the BCB need to create tracks that supports pace bowlers. 90% of the tracks that are used for international matches are either flat or dust-bowls that provide undue advantage for the spinners. And this is also one of the main reasons why Bangladesh performs poorly when they visit SENA nations. Pakistan on the other hand, needs to work on their top-order batsmen. There needs to be stability as well. They can't change their opening pair almost every two months.

Don't forget that we had Mustafizur Rahman, who was also named as Fizz when he played in IPL. He was the only foreign player to become emerging player of the season in IPL.

However, if you look at him now, he is not that good as before now. The coaches tried to add more variation in his bowling style and his natural action was destroyed by the coaches. He is no longer a cutter master. Bangladesh had a couple more pacers in the last couple of years, but they did not survived in the team, or didn't had even a chance to play a single match.

No doubt the current pace trio is going to be amazing for Bangladesh cricket, but keeping things like these on track needs professional and cricket minds. The same is happening in Pakistan political influence is working, and cricketers are losing their passion. This can hurt them badly. Batting is worse, while bowling is also not like they had a few years back thigns are getting worse day by day. I was actually expecting the spinners to take the wickets in the final day but Nahid Rana troubled Pakistan with his pace on the final day and picked up 5 wickets and 7 wickets lost to pace bowlers  .

Having youngsters in the team is good, but still they needed to do a few good things, which helps them in having a positive start for them in this match, but now it's all ended. They needed to learn from mistakes and do better in the second test, where most likely things will not be different from this one.

Yes brother I understand that he has done so much for Pakistan cricket and had a wonderful prime but now his time is over. He should take a long break from cricket and give chances to other young players.

And you said that the management should manage his workload and give him a break but I think its totally his fault as well. Why cant he himself tell the PCB that he needs a break and wants to work on his pace and skills? Its completely up to him. not to just the management.

Najmul Hossain Shanto is looking in good form and he is present on the crease because he is playing according to situation of the match and he made good score and there will be more chances of draw match. Najmul Hossain Shanto Also made century in this match and he played as he is captain of the team. Mominul Haque should try to complete century in the first inning of the match but he could not make this and was behind 9 score in this match. Azan Awais made century for the team but team is not looking strong and they are giving their effort but there are very less chances of that team to win this match. Pak team have to give their all effort to take 7 wickets in 50 overs if they want to win this match.

Yes, we have to admit that Nazmul Hossain Shanto's good batting performance in both innings of this match has basically helped the Bangladesh team to win. So it can definitely be said that Nazmul Hossain Shanto is in a good form at the moment. I think these good performances of his are extremely insulting to his haters, and also to some extent to me.

Pakistan looking confident and majority chances of declarations of this game but only Abdullah Saeed played like a Jem and scores Sixty six runs but after that all the team was panicked and Bangladesh Bowlers completely dominating in this game and Pakistan lost all the wickets before ends of the day and Bangladesh won this tough game.

The first test between Bangladesh and Pakistan was a target of 413 runs for the Bangladesh team while chasing their target of 386 run from the pakistan team.Now in the second inning, the Bangladesh team scored 240 run and the Pakistan team scored 163 run which meant that they faced failure by a total of 104 runs. But the Bangladesh team won this match with a very high performance.In the first inning Najmul Hossain Shanto performance was the best among the rest.In the second innings, he also scored the most runs. If we look at it, the Pakistan team also tried its best and if we look at that, then in many previous matches, the Pakistan team has been better than Bangladesh, but in this match, Bangladesh's practice and hard work brought them victory in this match. 1600 overs in a span of 6 years is nothing out of the ordinary. It comes to less than 300 overs in a year. At international level, this much is normal. During the 2025–26 Ashes series, Mitchell Starc bowled a total of 153.1 overs. This is just in one format, and one series. Compared to this 300 is not that extraordinary. What makes his figures stand out is the fact that other bowlers (esp. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf) bowled too less overs, since they were not selected for all the matches. And it is strange that not even a single spinner made it to the top-3 list. And Pakistan is the country which in the past produced legendary spinners such as Saqlain Mushtaq.

Pakistan arrived at Sylhet for the second Test match against Bangladesh. Today they are taking rest and form tomorrow they will start to practice, this game is going to be so crucial for them since they were losing first game very badly and for sure this time Sajid Khan will be the part of the team, I hope that Azan  Awais would not lose his momentum of playing smartly because in batting he is the important player that Pakistan have and also maybe for the next game we are most likely to see Babar Azam too.

Problem is that PCB and even players want to feature in every useless bilateral, doesn't matter if it's against b team or lower rank teams. In contrast top rated bowlers only prioritise tests/ ICC tournaments and skip white ball bilaterals voluntary and this never happens under PCB.
