I could not believe the scorecard at all. I thought it was the other way around, i.e. Bangladesh would be in Australia's position and Australia in Bangladesh's position. But what happened was completely opposite to my expectations.

However, Bangladesh dominated the first day but the match is not over yet. If Bangladesh can bat the entire second day and score 350+ runs, then maybe they can expect to win against Australia. There are many records of Australia's comeback in the second innings, maybe they will make that record again. It was a big surprise to see Australia struggle against Bangladesh, especially when Bangladesh had injuries to their main fast bowlers like Rana, Shoriful, and Tanzim Sakib who make an impact on fast Australian pitches. Still, Bangladesh could fold Australia to just 198 runs, and now they are in a really good position.

I am expecting Australia to come back stronger tomorrow and keep Bangladesh below 300 runs, and hopefully Australia play better in the second innings and take control of the match because I placed a bet on a parlay for Australia.

Aussie batting line up in shambles for quite sometime and their bowlers are doing all the heavy lifting. Happened against us in BGT as well and if we had decent bowling lineup then we also had chance. England is england in every away ashes.

Bangbros banked on it and ran through Aussie's dodgy batting line up with fine piece of seam bowling. Here many teams could learn thing or two from Bangladesh seam attack, considering how good they were with the ball.

Hot damn! Just found out about Aussies getting screwed by Bangladesh in their own home ground in the first test between them which is insane to say the least. Australia men's team are collapsing in literally every format while their women's team are still ruling.

They used sledging, tried all their available bowlers and set different fielding positions. Still, they couldn’t stop Bangladesh’s batters. Now the match is completely in favour of Bangladesh. They have ended day 2 with a lead of 150+ runs.

Bangladesh team's great performance against Australia which allowed them to achieve the target, Bangladesh team was able to achieve the target of 198 runs very easily. Even though Australia team was strong, they could not perform very well in batting which resulted in their first Test match. However, Bangladesh team's batsmen batted very well and they were also good in bowling. Najmul Hossain Shanto captained the team and he batted quite well and scored 84 runs, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim scored an amazing century and got out after scoring 101 runs. Overall, Bangladesh team's batting performance is also good. At the moment, the team has lost 6 wickets but they are still batting. So far, Bangladesh has scored 351 runs in 110 overs and has given a lead of 153 runs but if they play till the end, they will collect a bigger lead, and this will be a very difficult equation for Australia.

Australia won the toss and they decided to bat first, maybe this decision was strongly taken due to the following key reasons which includes:

The pitch had a lot of green grass, which often supports the side that bats first, but at the same time, the skill and productivity of the players also matter.

Still there is hope for Aussies to make a comeback, today went great for the Bangbros but Aussies managed to keep them under the scoring rate around 3 or less than that for the whole innings that give them some breathing space. Next morning might be their option to get them out and play the long, tiring innings to have any lead and hope Bangladesh collapses in their final innings.
