I totally missed the game, I thought it starts on 25th Aug.

I knew this was today but I don't have motivations to watch this kind of test serieses live tbh, I only have motivations for BGT.

I should watch the highlights to see what I missed and looking at the scorecard, we did well, Padikkal is showing consistency, which is good for him and sure he might get a chance in SENA where his real test career at No.4 will begin.

Paddikal was given 2 lives iirc. But yeah, hundred is hundred.

They are paying a newbie Saransh jain over Kuldeep, I don't understand the tactics.

So it's understood that the pitch was completely in favour of a fast-bowling lineup so batters seem to be struggling on both sides, but Australians are more skillful so they dominated in the second game by just scoring two hundred-plus runs. In the end, Bangladesh batters need to do a lot of work on their batting to improve their technique.

To be fair to newzealand and south africa they do invite bangladesh. Problem is with england and Australia. 16 years and no test tour in England and Australia finally invited them after 2 decades.

Yep, we see a lot of discussions and criticisms when such things happen in Asian countries. But we rarely see much discussion if it happens in SENA countries. This pitch deserves to receive demerit points. I doubt any actions will be taken here in this case. Anyway, India is doing well in the 2nd test too. I'm expecting them to score 400+ runs.

We are already at 460 but 8 down and DSP Sab came to the middle hope he curbs his aggressive batting style and sticks with the settled batter who is nearing his ton. Looking at Dhruv Jurel's performance, it seems that he will not leave the field before scoring a century and needs only five more runs to reach his century.

I guess we don't need to worry not having enough time because we hardly reach day 5 in test matches for the last 4 or 5 years. And India did really good, didn't take too much balls and scored at 4RR if I am not wrong.

After Bangladesh won the first Test, it was obvious that Australia would come back with a vengeance. But since the current Australia team isn't as aggressive as they used to be, I definitely wasn't expecting this kind of performance—folding Bangladesh for under three figures in both innings.

In hindsight, it was a great ploy to score maximum runs, as this pitch is going to be incredibly difficult to bat on later. On top of that, we have constant rain interruptions, and the forecast predicts rain after lunch for the remaining days as well.

The test game was almost in the favor of India because, at the end of day two, India declared the innings by scoring five hundred plus runs and getting early on two wickets of Sri Lankan batters. In the whole series, we observe that, in Asian and especially in Sri Lankan situations, the pitch gives favor to batters first and after some time, due to dryness, cracks appear on the pitch, which help a lot for spinners. That's why spinners get more success on Lankan wickets and the same thing was seen in the first test game.

In the second test, the behavior of the wicket was entirely different because almost two days are gone, but the pitch didn't give positive response to spinners. So, that's the reason why the Sri Lankan spinners face trouble. Still, in the last session, the Indian side's fast bowling attack gained wickets early on wickets and, according to the current situation, in the third or fourth session of day three India gets all the wickets and starts its second innings and gives a huge target and easily wins the game.
