I remember the days of the great Australian squad with Waugh brothers. Shane Warne, Adam Gilchrist, McGrath and many more great bowlers and batsman. Unfortunately now they are far away from where they were ad the game has changed a lot and I dont know if it is really for the better.

That was the golden period of Australia. The Australian board now condones aggression which is suppressing their natural play. This happens when you change the attitude of the entire team which was successful for decades, competent, and fought till the end. Even now there are incredibly talented players, but they lack the aggression, competitive spirit, and intensity they once had.

Really poor start to the second test between the Aussies and Proteas. Sucks to see rain making a comeback and screwing over match after match as usual. Really surprised to see South Africa struggling badly against their opponents in this series.

Bet on the Proteas to make a proper comeback in this second test and it doesn't look like I will win that bet thanks to various reasons. Disappointing stuff from the current WTC champs.

The weather will be a major factor in this Test match. When I checked the weather prediction, it says that the possibility of rain is higher, but for the final three days, we could see play. The chance of this match going to a draw is highly likely.

Last match went to 5th day so won't mind 3-3.5 days test match where on volatile deck batters running like a headless chicken against bowlers.

Everyone knows that the September-October window is not suitable for cricket in South Africa. CSA still went ahead with the schedule and as a result on the first day we had less than one hour of play. I was actually rooting for South Africa, as they chose the squad mainly on merit (sidestepping the transformation quota targets).

Second day has similar story as almost 30 overs were bowled on day two and SA lost three more wickets today. One day two stumps,  Temba Bavuma is not out on 41 and Scott Boland has picked 4 wickets. Probability is high that this match will end in draw because only three days left in the game and SA yet to complete their batting. Still SA need to be careful and must not take things lightly as Aussies have always a plan on how to win match under such conditions.

In 2 days enough time is lost due to rain, but there are still 3 days remaining, and chances are available for having the result of this match, but for having the result, we need a full 3-day match because the pitch is looking good for seamers, and the Proteas also have good bowlers who can give them good performance against the struggling Australian batting lineup.
Boland is always having good performance after having a spot with Temba Bavuma still on the crease. Wiaan Mulder giving the company still 200 is looking possible, but South Africa is under pressure due to losing in the first test, and these conditions are also not helping them for having good fightback, but they needed to have their best for keeping themselves alive in the series.

Tomorrow's first session of day three will be crucial for both teams. One thing is certain about Australia: they never play weak cricket, and they have planned accordingly for the situation. If South Africa's batting lineup survives, they will have a good chance of posting a strong score. While they might not be able to add 120 or 150 more runs in the first innings because they have already lost half of their team, if Australia bowls well and restricts South Africa to under 150, then Australia will likely secure a solid lead heading into the second innings.

Temba Bavuma wicket is extremely important for South Africa and they are close to his well-deserved half-century; if he stays at the crease and scores a century, it will become much easier for South Africa to set a 200-plus total. On the third day, the weather is significantly better compared to the first two days; there is a 10 percent chance of rain, so the risk is very low. Hopefully, we will get to see some good play on the third day of the test match.

The most interesting part is that in two days we only saw 43 overs bowled in this Test match, and still, South Africa lost 5 wickets without reaching triple figures. It is crucial how long South Africa will bat on the third day and how many overs will be bowled.

Rain will play spoilsport, and it all depends on how long Temba Bavuma can bat and if anyone can provide South Africa a steady partnership with him. Scott Boland is an underrated and underused bowler who never got the recognition he deserved because the team always had Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Pat Cummins—but whenever he gets his opportunity, he picks up wickets.

Boland the fucking freak, give him such deck and he'll run havoc and outbowl starc, Cummins, hazelwood and worse turn undroppable baldy lyon to droppable player.

Reports are saying that forcast is good for remaining days so If pitch remains the same then we surely have result on the card.
