How the tables have turned! One of my earlier posts was regarding the Proteas losing 5 wickets under 100 runs and the Aussies are now 84/7 with Jansen ripping them apart like there's no tomorrow. Smith is the lone man standing while Cummins can bat.

As long as rain doesn't interfere again, this test is most probably going to the Proteas in my opinion. This particular test series keeps getting more and more interesting and I am loving it.

As the way SA bowlers have shown their performance in the first innings, they should obviously win the match even if one more session gets interrupted by the rain. Australia got all out in just 99 runs in the first innings. South Africa has enforced the follow-on rules now and sent Australia for batting again. This is a wise decision as they already have a very big lead.

Australia has lost their first wicket already in the 2nd innings. Why did they bring back 'Nic Maddinson' in the squad after so long?

Australia made one replacement, Josh Hazelwood with Boland, who got a fifer today and remained impressive today. When Australia started the innings, only a few overs were left, but in these overs they lost one wicket. So if SA take all the wickets early on, they have a lot of chances to win the game.

What special thing has this player done that I have not seen, neither did he stop the runs properly nor did he take a wicket in his pocket. He bowled 14 overs and allowed 43 runs and on the other hand there is Webster who bowled 19 overs and gave 43 runs so who played an effective game? AUS is playing very nice, is he doing this knowingly or has SA become powerful owing to which this game is on the opposite track. AUS players have scored only 50 runs and lost 4 wickets and it seems impossible for them to win this entire game. If AUS players bowl a few more 20 overs, their entire team will lose the ability to play with the bat, so today the first innings is a wins for SA.

Australia messed up the match completely. They failed to pick up the tail-end wickets and gave South Africa a great opportunity to take the match away from them in the first innings. Then in return, Australia messed up their own first innings, getting bowled out without even reaching three figures—which sealed their fate, despite all the sessions lost due to rain.

Australia is facing a tough test in South Africa, after the ODI series defeat, such a humiliating defeat in the second match of the Test series is definitely affecting the mentality of Australia. Australia won the match in the first match, but in the second match, Australia's batting lineup was unable to stand up. Even in the bowling innings, they were very bad. They were in great danger with Temba Bavuma. Even with the tail-enders, Australia's world-class bowlers were in danger.

Temba Bavuma is not only a captain, he is a one man army and he performed well as he made 179 runs in this match and  tail enders also performed like a pure batter as Marco Jansen made a crucial runs which made pressure on opponent team and they came in pressure and they could not handle the pressure of the match. Harmer made a half century which was  not easy for anyone . In the first inning, 6 players of Australia team could not enter in double figures and in the second inning, 5 players could not enter in double figures. SA team easily won this match and now the are very confident to win this next match but now 4 days break and we will see the match in 27 and both teams will prepare well to win the final match.

Aussies did this to Indians many times but they tasted their own which is mastered by Temba Bavuma, from 110 for 6 to 425 for 8 is not something we see often and he played in both the partnership shows why he is the God.

We are seeing more clips about the SL winning from almost an impossible situation but I guess this test match equally deserving the same level of appreciation, we only see these kinds of things in the test format alone.

Australian batting has never been reliable, but still they have done good resistance in the second inning, which was not enough to bring them on level and have something to cheer.

Test cricket is always a beauty of cricket; it never disappoints fans. After the end of the second day's play, most were expecting this match to end as a draw, but South Africa did amazing batting and brought their total from 110 for 6 to 425 for 8. It's one of the best fights back in recent times after having this big score on board.

Their bowlers also did a good job and restricted Australia to 99 in the first inning. Even though things were interesting in the second inning, South African bowlers never allowed Australia to have anything special; they again put them down on a good total and had a big win, which brought them to a level with the score of 1-1. Temba Bavuma deserves to be a man of the match after playing one of the best innings for his team. Two quality teams are doing a great job in this series with balanced performance.

They might have one excuse tho. Hazelwood was bit under the weather and didn't bowl much, his presence was necessary in the SA's first inning.

Now, i think of it. If rabada was playing first match then series score card might have been 2-0 or 1-0 instead of 1-1.

Agreed. Rabada's on field antics entertain me more than his bowling though whole big man Jansen was a class act in the test taking plenty of wickets and almost scoring a century when the rest of the team excluding Bavuma were struggling.

Harmer did well too with bat and ball. The decider should be entertaining as hell though I really hope rain doesn't mess up another series. This series truly depicts test cricket at its finest.

How can there be a demand for spectators with the bad game that Bangladesh players are giving? Perhaps to bring back spectators to the field or increase interest, the 1st Test against the West Indies has been given free entry to the spectators, but the VIP galleries are excluded. But what will be the benefit of this? I don't think that too many spectators will come to enjoy the Bangladesh game. And the spectators' interest in the Test match is low.

Taskin has returned to the squad, Bangladesh has announced the squad for the 1st Test against the West Indies. However, Nahid Rana was needed in the squad but he is not in this Test due to injury. This Test is part of the World Test Championship, so Bangladesh players should try to utilize the home advantage.

Jansen is class act and if he keep continuing like this, he will grab number 1 bowling and possibly number 1 all rounder spot sooner than later.

Cancellation of kolpak did good for sa, this harmer guy is a fine example otherwise he'd have been playing only county all his life.
