Looks like it will be a 350-380 score today and hope to see Rohit hit his double century in this match without losing the wicket else they may end up with a lesser target. 

By the way when Rohit Sharma was batting i thought he will be looking for another double century as he always scores big centuries and now i am surprised to see Rishabh Pant finally smoking the bowlers around the ground and Shreyas Iyer and Pant are scoring boundaries with ease and the partnership reached 55 runs in 19 balls and they crossed 351 runs and now i am confident that India will win the match.

360 plus is already a very competitive score. It will now be the turn of Indian bowler to bowl well, which I doubt!

Batsmen did their job, especially Rohit and Rahul brilliant batting by both the opener.

I do not think it is possible for west Indies to beat that target. It is a very big score! Form here onwards Indian bowlers need to only constraint them from scoring big runs, any lose over will cause the west indies to strike back. 388 to win has already give a psychological advantage to team India

The West Indies miscalculated big time as they were not able to restrict the free flowing Rohit and Rahul and then Iyer and Pant played some huge shots and at one point they both scored 50 plus runs in two overs, 24 runs in the 46th over by Pant bowled by Cottrell and then Iyer improved that to 31 runs in the 47th over which is bowled by Chase. It is an impossible task for West Indies and with this win the series is leveled.

You are underestimating a team like India way too much here. Anything above 300 is a great score for India and they are pretty much set to touch 350 thanks to Rohit going berserk at the moment with Shreyas providing good support.

Don't dismiss their bowling unit just because they performed badly in a single match. Look at their past accomplishments. West Indies will need a miracle if they want to seal this one and I highly doubt anything like that will happen here.

I am not under estimating their bowlers, what i was saying is that their best bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are not playing and the way in which West Indies chased their total in the T20 and the first ODI does not resemble the bowling unit and power they had when Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was in the team as they were strike bowlers who were capable of picking the wickets and Shami was not able to pick the wickets either without a good support from the other end.
In this match too West Indies had a good start and the Indian bowlers were not able to pick up a wicket yet and i was talking about this situation.

India is dropping catches too, KL Rahul dropped the catch of Hope but they took the wicket of in form Hetmyer by a brilliant fielding by Iyer in the boundary and he was short of the crease and i too wanted to see  close match but the target is too high to chase and Hope is playing at a good strike rate in this innings which is far better than his career average and if he is able to continue his form and score a century then we might have a chase in hands with Pollard coming in and smacking the bowlers like the did in the past then we might see a close chase  .

Rahul and Rohit 227 runs partnership actually changed the total direction of the match itself since it was opening partnership this gave team India a good start and also chance to accelerate the scoreboard for the new comers . WI are struggling and have lost 3 wickets for 86.

Some kind of partnership is building between Shai Hope and Pooran which reached 75 in just 60 balls which is really not good atleast a wicket need to restrict WI batsmen and make them to play on their backfoot.Players need to take any catches and also half chances when they are renowned as one of best cricket team or they can even lose the the low ranked team.Don't forget guys...

Nicholas Pooran is striking the ball really well and they have taken on the bowlers it is entertaining for the crowd as they are scoring at around 12 runs per over in the last 5 overs but their required run rate is increasing and hence they started to play these risky shots and Nicholas Pooran just crossed his fifty and Hope is still in the crease looking for another century, even though they might not win the match they are putting a good challenge for the Indian bowlers.

I wouldn't say that this was a one sided match. When Pooram was hitting the ball like crazy alongside Hope there was a chance for WI to win this match irrespective of the huge target. Once Pooram is gone, there is nothing much to expect out of this game.

I am sure he meant "Boring game- one sided" after Shami took 2 back to back wickets . they were going good and fighting well but majority of times it happens when you are chasing such a big target.

I missed the match and i am yet to see his hat trick performance and i did not know that this was his second International hat trick and he also had a hat trick in U 19 which is incredible, but both the spinners were taken apart as the West Indies batsman showed their power by smacking them all over the park in this game as both Kuldeep Yadav and Jadeja gave away 9 sixes altogether.

When it is a batting pitch we can't blame bowlers for giving away runs especially in a high scoring game but they have to play their strategies on taking wickets which was actually happened in today's match which lead India to win on the second match after they fell short in the first ODI.

Third ODI will be much more interesting to watch since both team one each of first two ODIs.

Kuldeep is the first Indian to take two hattrick in international cricket. This game just changed the series and now both are 1-1 which means making third more exciting and challenging . Rohit for his magnificent innings of 159 was awarded player of the match.
