If we are considering last 2 decades then for me best captain is Ganguly. But If we are going way back to 60s and 80s then Mansoor Ali khan and Kapil dev are worthy candidates and important figures.

Ganguly is indeed one of the best captains in Indian history, but MSD did what mattered the most when compared to other captains(Winning multiple world titles, Establishing the future of Indian cricket(Kohli etc) etc).

His life story is always very inspirational and I am not a big fan of test Cricket to be honest since I watch T-20 and ODI matches more often which is why he is the best captain among all the Indian Cricket captains so far. Just my opinion!

Kapil Dev was the first Indian captain who managed to win an ICC tournament. His achievement was very remarkable, because back then West Indies was being regarded as invincible and the Indian team was lagging behind in terms of training, equipment and finances. And the 1983 CWC took place in England, and the conditions were not suitable for the vast majority of the Indian players. Despite all this, India managed to win the tournament, by defeating the West Indies in the final.

I would go all in on India after their amazing performance in the last match. The only thing that India needs to get right is to improve in the fielding department since they seem to be dropping catches way too often lately. If they rectify this, India will most likely decimate West Indies.

West Indies started really slow and now they lost Lewis looking for an extravagant shot, Jadeja already dropped a tough chance earlier and for India Navdeep Saini made his debut and he is bowling at a lively pace and Shai Hope continues his form throughout the series became the fastest West Indian player to cross 3000 runs, even though his strike rate is low his average is above 50.

Pant just now missed a regulation catch and his terrible performance behind the stumps continues.

As long as Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran are in the crease they can look for a total of above 270 runs as they can clear the boundary with ease, the openers started really slow and the slow rate continued when they sent Chase at number 3 which was a miscalculation from the West Indies as they needed someone to take on the attack and Shimron Hetmyer was the right player but for some reason they sent in Chase and the slow rate continued until he got out and India might win the match easily with the way the match is going.

Kieron Pollard really played well and with that West Indies made a competitive match winning score. if only WI can take early wickets, this match will be out of Indian hands. Still the odds are good for WI, if anyone wants to take the risk.

This is going to be a close game for sure, and I secretly wish India to lose this match  

WI made 315/5 in their 50 overs. Pollard was not out for 74 runs in the end. India would have to start well and among the top 3 batsman one has to make century in order to make India win the match and the series too. It is going to a good match.

Why would you want India to lose, did you made the bet on West Indies Win ?  Or you belong to the West Indies. First 10 overs of the Indian innings will decide who is gonna win this one. I hope to see the last ball thriller match.

Yes and RoHIT and Rahul are doing quite well, as far as the target is concerned the top order of Indian team can easily achieve it. I'm just hoping that RoHIT should be scoring another 200 he has missed his double century on the last game.

India started really well and they are chasing well as expected and they do not need to take much risk and still they are scoring at well over 6 runs per over and as long as the Rohit and Rahul is in the crease they could accelerate the innings and since there is dew it will be difficult for the West Indies bowlers and the fielders and picking wickets to put pressure on the Indian batsman is the only solution and it looks like India will run away with the game and the series easily.

No clue about what is going on in crickting world as too busy with some real world projects. May I have now time again to get busy here. Is India leading in the series. Last time I checked was WI head by 1 - 0 if I am not wrong.
