Pakistan lost their third wicket before the end of 14 overs.  Abdullah shafiq also failed to play well. He managed to collect only 12 runs off 16 balls. Pakistan's top order failed today. Iftikhar and Shadab fail to play big innings, Pakistan will lose by a big margin today.

Pakistan is really good with batting than the bowling order. Till the tail end we were able to see players scoring runs. Ifthikhar Ahmed along with Babar Azam turned the match, and it looked like both the teams were playing the match in a free manner. Australia team had used 8 bowlers and it looked like they were finding the right ones for the upcoming league matches. For Pakistan Babar Azam retired out and walked to the pavilion, if not Pakistan could've won the match. This match can't be taken into consideration to value the potential of the team.

I agree with you that even though Pakistan lost, they showed a good performance against a strong team like Australia, although Babar Azam's retired out in the middle also factored a lot behind Australia's win. However, Pakistan batsmen today showed a very responsible batting performance, but as victory was not in their destiny, they lost at the end of the day by just 14 runs. In terms of run-scoring performance, I thought Pakistan would win today because the batting performance was good and also their country and India are located next to each other, so I thought the environment favored them.
But today I am not satisfied with the bowling performance of both the teams, although if you look at the extra runs towards the last, the Australians were able to take the wickets and put pressure on the Pakistani batsmen, and their result is win. Pakistan need 37 more runs from 31 balls to win against Australia but Pakistan have already lost seven wickets. I have not seen that much of the match but I will see that Pakistan will score 37 runs in 31 balls. They came very close to winning Pakistan. Mohammad Nawaz and Hasan Ali are on the wickets at the moment, let's see if they can eventually lead Pakistan to victory.

I think, if the Pakistan team is to do well in the World Cup, the bowling site of the Pakistan team needs to be considered. Pakistan cricket team is yet to complete the bowling site. These warmups doesn't matter much. In many cases, the stronger team takes the matches lightly and the players doesn't give their 100%. It surprises me that Sri Lanka collapsed from 240/2 in 30 overs, to end up at 294 all out. Also, this is a warning sign for the SENA teams. Spinners will have a disproportionate impact on pitches in India. If Sri Lankan batsmen are struggling against Afghan spinners, then imagine how England or Australian batsmen would fare against spinners from India, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.

Pakistan's batting order performance is erratic as we have seen for a long time.  and paakistan can't  get their batting order right . pakisthan had the potential to do well in  this world cup as they have some great pace  bowlers in their squad . I still remember all the drama that happened during the final (England vs New Zealand) match of the 2019 World Cup, at Lord's. England virtually stole the match with the help of umpire Kumar Dharmasena. There was a throw from the fielder, which got deflected by the bat of Ben Stokes and went for boundary. England broke every cricketing rule and Dharmasena supported them. Being a gentleman, Kane Williamson refused to complain and stood there silently. Unfortunately the England captain (Eoin Morgan) behaved shamelessly and never acknowledged the contribution of the umpire in his team's win.
