Bangladesh team batting in the second innings, I would say they are not doing well in any way. Right now the Bangladesh team is under a lot of pressure and they are playing badly and their batting performance has not improved at all. Played a bit well in the beginning, their game has gone very bad at the moment, especially after the dismissal of Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Anamul Haque, the run rate has gone down a lot. But one of the great batsman of Bangladesh, Tanzid Hasan, is batting very well. If he survives, he can bring victory to Bangladesh. And the target of 236 runs is not very high so if the Bangladesh team can still play then there is definitely a possibility of winning and can win the series. Right now Bangladesh team has lost two wickets but they still have enough wickets, so Bangladesh team still have to play cautiously as Sri Lankan team will not let Bangladesh go so easily.

I think Bangladesh team is having hard time in their second turn at bat. Pressure is high and they have not been batting well. But Tanzid Hasan is doing a good job and could help Bangladesh win. They need to be careful and play well to get 236 runs they need to win. Other players need to support Hasan to beat strong Sri Lankan team. We don't know who will win yet but Bangladesh has a chance if they play well and stay focused.

In the first innings, Sri Lankan batsmen cannot be making runs where at least they had a chance to win the match or if their bowlers will do something then they can win this match but in that situation, always there is a player who is known as a game changer and today he is Janith Liyanage who came when five wickets down and also half overs were left then he decided to become a hero, for this, he hit a century.

Before him the player came like Kusal Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama and others but these were all not able to make at least 30 runs but however here is Janith Liyanage then what's the name of the problem? He was needy of a player who could just stand with him otherwise it would not be good for them. No one could stand with him that's why the whole team was out but still, he was considered as not out player.
If they would have won the match then for sure the man of the match would have gone to him because without this century their team could have lost even more badly.

It looks very odd to have an ODI in day light. 2nd ODI was played on 15 March and 3rd ODI should be on 17 March or Sunday but strangely they didn't schedule the match on Sunday.
Things looking not much good for Sri Lanka at the moment, they have lost 7 batsmen and score is 172 in 40 overs. Score predictor telling that Sri Lanka will give a target of 215 and that wont be difficult to chase. Both matches in this series are won by side batting second.  

Sri Lanka has play the match and give the target of 235. The run target is very low for  winning , Now this time Bangladesh need 75 run in 15 overs Which is looking very easy for the Bangladesh batsmen to hit the target on the day. Ali and Bahadur of Bangladesh are batting after seeing their batting I think this match will be over in few more and Bangladesh will win this series. From Sri Lanka batting side J Liyanage played very well and completed his century and made 101 run with the continue their inning but due to the end of the over, they could not give the run target of 235.

Finally the Bangladesh cricket team got the desired win and even won the series against Sri Lanka. The ODI series against Sri Lanka was expected for Bangladesh as they were humiliated by losing the T20 series earlier as well. The target that the Sri Lankan batsmen gave to Bangladesh today was very less for the Bangladeshi batsmen. Today the opening pair of Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Anamul Haque Vijay was brilliant as Bangladesh got a solid score from their pair. Bangladesh were under a bit of pressure when Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Mahmudullah Riyad were dismissed in tandem. Mushfiqur Rahim and Rishad Hossain are the biggest architects of Bangladesh's victory in this match. Bangladeshi cricket fans witnessed yet another impressive innings from Rishad Hossain who had earlier played such an innings against Sri Lanka in the third T20 match.

I actually surprised when Sri Lanka chose to bat first after winning the toss, but Bangladesh undoubtedly brilliant today. It was expected for Bangladesh to win, especially in this format and on their home ground, after losing the T20 series. Although Bangladesh faced some pressure, Mushfiqur Rahim and Rishad Hossain ensured a comfortable victory in the end. Congratulations to Bangladesh for winning the series against Sri Lanka 2-1. Both teams deserve credit for making this series so exciting. Kudos to Sri Lanka for their entertaining performances during this tour. I feel bad for Janith Liyanage's innings though.

Bangladesh won the ODI series against Sri Lanka by 2-1. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 235, thanks to Janith Liyanage, who scored a brilliant hundred down the order. Apart from him, no other batter could perform against Bangladesh bowlers. Taskin took 3 wickets, while Mustafizur and Mehidy took 2 wickets each. Bangladesh responded well and Tanzaid played beautifully for his 84 runs. Lahiru Kumara took 4 wickets and troubled the Bangladesh batters, but thanks to Mushfiqur and Rishad's partnership BAN chased this target easily. Overall, a dominating performance by the Bangladesh team in this series.

Bangladesh eventually won by 4 wickets. Bangladesh's batting line-up was good at the start but was under pressure in the middle. Rishad Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim put on a great partnership in the end to give the team victory. Rishad Hossain batted in T20 style, he was unbeaten on 48 off 18 balls. Mushfiqur Rahim did well and remained unbeaten on 37 off 36 balls. According to me, the contribution of bowling is more behind the victory of Bangladesh. Because the Bangladeshi bowlers restricted Sri Lanka to 235 runs by bowling aggressively. There was a small run target as a result of which Bangladesh was able to easily chase down the target. Congratulations to the Bangladesh team.

Congrats Bangladesh squad and also congrats for Bangladesh team fans to get a victory in last third game and before this match this competition was tied with equal winnings. But in third match, Bangladesh squad defeated Sri Lanka sqaud by 4 wickets and lost of deliveries behind for play. Though I was unable to watch the live game , the score card seems to have had a poor start for Sri Lanka. They failed to defend themselves against the attack of the Bangladeshi bowlers in the beginning. Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando have to go back before they know about peaches. Kusal Mendis took some responsibility as captain but it was not enough for the team. On the other hand, Janith Liyanage brought Sri Lanka back from a difficult situation. He excelled as a new batsman in Sri Lankan cricket. He has probably featured in 9 matches and today was his best performance. His century today bodes well for himself as well as the team. Sri Lanka's batting disaster forced the team to lose to Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI match in this series. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have won one series each in both formats in this tour. Bangladesh won the ODI series at home and will look to continue their winning streak in the Test series as well.

Today Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat. It was an strange decision as non of the ODI were won by first batting team.  Sri Lanka batting first were not able to reach a good target as non of the batsmen were able to perform except Janith Liyanage who made a century with good strike rate. He was not out even when the team was all out.
Bangladesh chased the target quick and even though they lost 6 wickets, they were comfortable the whole chase.

Yes Bangladesh Cricket Board got a best finisher batsman in lower order.Rishad Hossain's brilliant innings today is bound to blow the mind of all the cricket loving fans. If Bangladesh Cricket Board takes proper care of him then he can be a gem for Bangladesh cricket team in future. Rishad Hossain can play the long handle and even has a lot of strokes in his hands as he proved in the last two matches against Sri Lanka. But one thing is that there were some other players like him who came to Bangladesh earlier but they got lost in the lapse of time.

How come it became a Day match, I thought they had their timing set for the series decider.

Looks like a bad scheduling to me. You got your wish of no dead rubber match but it's a working day and that too in the morning. Who will fill the stand and many people not even watch live on telly. This should've been fixed to the weekend, that's how you generate some sort of revenue.

After seeing the Bangladesh team struggle, I remembered the match that was cannot forget easily. In 2017, when the Pakistan and England match was playing, it was not a normal match. That was the match of the 2017 Champions Trophy that decided who would play the Semi-Final, and on that time the Pakistan team came into a very dangerous zone where they needed 100 plus runs and Sarfraz was finding a partner as today Tanzid Hasan finding but on that time, Amir came and what a partnership was made which allow Pakistan to play semi final but in the Semi final Pakistan and England again met where Aamir was not available to play due to injury and instead of him they selected Rumman Raees.

Bangladesh successfully chased down the target 237/6 with Tamim Hasan 86 runs and Rahi Hossain 48 runs Unbeaten innings playing crucial roles by securing Bangladesh's victory in the ODI series.

In the third and final ODI match, Bangladesh recorded an impressive four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka with 10 overs in hand. Rishad Hossain's batting at the end was the most important contribution to pull off this impressive win. And we have seen in the past that Bangladeshi batsmen cannot perform well under extra pressure. So Bangladeshi bowlers must be thanked for the win. Almost every bowler bowled well in this match.

Rishad Hossain is probably going to be one of the best bowling all-rounders in Bangladesh as he can bowl as well as bat well. According to every pundit or fan, It's a meme rivalry, not ugly or cringe but pure entertainment with lols and giggles.  Recently some journalists even did a story on it.

A fair amount of tension and seriousness between both teams (Bongs in particular) but everything looks funny to neutral fans even to some Lankan spectators.
