Yes Sri Lanka has come back in a big way. When we watched the T20 match between India and Sri Lanka we saw that Sri Lanka was whitewashed against India. In hindsight, I thought they might lose the ODI series to India. But no they are performing well against India in ODI series. They drew with India in the first ODI and Sri Lanka won the second ODI by scoring just 240 runs. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma also picked up a fifty in the second match like the first match. If we blame anything for India's defeat in the second ODI, it will be Dube and KL Rahul's batting failure. These two batsmen have put their team in complete danger by getting out for zero runs.

In my point of view Srilanka won this match due to their bowling and exactly that was a great comeback by Srilanka team. Because after losing the T20I series the fans was thinking that Srilanka will lose the ODI series too. But Srilanka proved them wrong and they tied the first match and now won the second match. And there is one match left and I think Srilanka will try to win this match and will try to take the revenge of the T20 series. And India will also try well to win this match to tie the series. Means the last match of this series will be very exciting. So let's see Srilanka will win the series or India will tie the series.

After India thrashing SL in t20 series, I doubt anyone expected SL to comeback like this, but gotta love the way this odi series turned out.

Axar's six over the extra covers, one of best shots from him IMO, and a great catch from Asalanka to dismiss him, overall good fielding from SL in this game.

Lastly, what a day for Wandersay (6/33), I looked at scorecard yesterday, India had lost 6 wickets, and then I scroll down and see that all wickets were to Wandersay, I was like

Yes, Sri Lanka impressive comeback in the ODI Series and won the second match. in the first match they tied the match that was India winning. in first match India needed only one run in the last three overs and Sri Lanka spin bowler picked two consecutive wickets to tie the first match and won the second match outstanding and won the series. I agree as India is having good batting order, we can expect them good fight despite having problems but in this game they surrender and lost the game by big margin which was not expected because start of their chase was also impressive because we have another half century from the hitman Rohit Sharma and openers gave 97 runs stand.

Batting from the Sri Lankan were also not good but 7th wicket stand between Dunith Wellalage and Kamindu Mendis bring their game in good intention because Indian bowlers were on rampage and having good performance which not allowed Sri Lankan to play freely. Indian chase badly hit by career best figures of 34 years old Jeffrey Vandersay who having 27 wickets from his 22 games but achieve impressive success in this game with the figure of 6 for 33 as he is having this spot due to absence of Wanindu Hasaranga but give his team most wanted win.

SL batted really well too and 240+ is just above par score on this pitch mean their batters did everything possible to get over the line and then let their bowlers to take over from their.

India didn't read the pitches well that's why too many LBW.

In the next match I wanted them to go with one man seam attack and can bring in Riyan parag who can spin as well so their batting depth can extend upto no 9.

We saw some poor Indian teams batting last night as they could not even touch 210, what a bad performance, once again.
Can you even imagine this was the team that was unbeaten in the whole ODI World Cup, but also at that time it was too amazing team as everyone was in the form.
Hardik Pandya and some others were also part of that team but now they have to focus on their backup because last time the Indian team also lost the World Cup because they didn’t have a back up and when in the Semi-Final, Hardik Pandya was injured then it was not great for them and they lost against Australia.

Your statement is not correct about this game because Indian bowlers done good job and restricted Sri Lanka on good score once I was having mind they will be done again on 215 to 220, but seventh wicket partnership allow Sri Lanka to have good target of 250 but still this was not hard job as we have Indian best batting line-up but sadly due to poor batting effort and impressive bowling from the veteran Jeffrey Vandersay allow Sri Lanka to have first won in last three years.

After openers, we have only Axar Patel who done good job and score 44 with all other eight batsmen completely fail to give any stand which is surely now matter of concern for them because things are not favourable in ODI with having second failure in this series against Sri Lanka.

There is no doubt with this win now Sri Lankan confidence is at the top, and they will try their best for having win in last ODI and series as well because this is going to be good for their cricket which is suffering badly in last few years due to lack of quality and good performance.

Srilanka's comeback was surprising. When this series was just started so I was expecting that Srilanka will not be able to win any match because they lost the T20I series with 3-0. But they didn't give up and they make an excellent comeback in the ODI series first match was tied but in the second match Srilanka played really well and won the match.

To be honest I was shocked too because Indian team strength are at high level and they way they performed in t20 series give us indication of how well and strong team are they compared to thier opponent but as soon as format and some player got changed their entire team stability got lost especially thier main player Kohli failed to add some decent contribution and that's things really benefits SiriLankan team and as a result out of no where they got continueous wicket and drawn the match which was really unexpected but I taught they will recoved it in second match but surprisingly here they continue his previous mistakes and this time lose the match. For me the responsible for that defeat is their middle order because they just required a partnership and all mounting pressure will be gone but instead of partnership they lose his wicket and allow opponent to execute as much as high possible pressure on them which results in thier loss

I think that is big success by Sri Lankan team because Indian team is top class team of the World and Indian full strength team is playing in this match. Virat Kohli and Rohit are also part of that team but  Indian team lose the 2nd match of ODI series.  I appreciate the bowlers of Sri Lankan team because against Indian team doing bowling is not an easy task and againt Indian  defend 240 score is not small task .I appreciate all bowlers but especially Jeffrey Vandersay who took 6 wickets in this match and took player of the match due to great effort in this match .Sri Lankan batters should work on their batting because if in the next match Indian team won the toss then they will chose batting and they will give 300+ target on board and how Sri Lankan team will chase that score? So they should learn from their mistakes because Indian team is not small team and they will come back in next match.
