What else is new? Team USA will just dominate this again. Giannis with the Bucks can't win the championship in the NBA. And his team mates in Greece won't be better than the Bucks. Unless USA won't have their top 5 players on board. KD and Klay are injured. Curry won't probably play. Leonard, PG and Irving will be busy creating chemistry with their new teams.   

You think Popovich is that dumb not to pick good players? This roster of USA for this FIBA 2019 is massive and I know they can ball and penetrate in and out of the court. If there are team that can go head to head with them that's for sure Serbia again or perhaps Spain.

Serbia could be the team that could beat the US. With almost all players playing in the best league in this world which is the NBA, it actually gives them a boost of confidence to take over even USA.

Anyway, have you seen the exhibition game between USA and Australia? Australia have players that have something to prove to in the world cup, but this was a blowout game. 102-86 is the final score. Kemba helped the team to defeat Australia with 23 pts and 6 rebs.

Keeping an eye on Australia, I positively think that their team will remain capable of beating a good game. That's why their performance is a huge potential to achieve goals successfully. Maintaining their position, doing daily practices and many ways to enhance skills; great results will follow.

USA already beat Australia, there's no special with that team, and their odds says itself.
Let's hope they will face in the Finals and both teams will give a very competitive match,I'm with the Serbia considering their odds is really good, but if I will not bet on this particular event, I will have USA all day.

Probably true that both teams are favorites for finals. But if I looked correctly there is possibility that they can be facing in semis, or I looked wrong. Anyway many articles and sport shows that I watched suggest the same thing that Serbia has team that can possible win USA team. This could be good if someone is placed bet on Serbia. But I would like to see them in finals and to both teams show best possible play in that match.

If Serbia is in a good day they can definitely win the US.
USA is a team that entertains me a lot as they play good basketball in terms of excitement. Serbia is a solid team with many experienced players and I think it is the time to win this tournament.

If we will see Serbia and the US in the Finals, they will be like the Warriors and the Raptors where Warriors were the heavy favorites but the Raptors end up winning in the series. But this one, I don't hope for an injury, of course the game would be fun to watch if all players are given a chance to play.
I would cheer for my nation's team but I know they will not be able to enter in the top 10, but if they will have at least one win, that would be good enough and a great achievement since this is an world wide competition.

The Serbians definitely will have a chance. Serbia will (unfortunately) beat Greece if we meet during the tournament. Funny side note though: In my opinion - even though Serbia is > Greece - Greece will even have a better chance of winning against the USA, just due to the fact that their style will fit us (Giannis) more. Cant wait for the tournament to start, only a few more days.

Those were in the past. Let's focus on the current roster. They are very much beatable as compared to previous US teams. I have no doubt that coach Pop will try to bring the best out of these young team but they'll still fall short when they face teams like Serbia.

USA is not bringing college players to the cup, they are still legit NBA players. We are talking about kemba walker, jaylen brown, tatum, kuzma, myles, harris, brook, middleton and any other I might be missing right now. If you brought these players to any league in the world they would destroy it, hell I remember an old and retiring Allen Iverson wrecking havoc in Turkey, same with Deron Williams as well.

Has USA lost a cup before? Sure they have, that is always been a possibility even with the dream team, even spain gave USA dream team with Kobe and wade and melo and lebron a run for their money, that is literally the best team that could have been organized and they were still going close in points.

Hence, there is a chance that USA of course could lose but that won't be because the team is not good, team is awesome and they are by far the best roster in the league and its not even close, all other teams may have 1-2 NBA players, some may have very good nba player like giannis or jokic but those are just ONE, whereas USA has a lot of amazing players.
